Red is a gorgeous color, isnβt it?Β
Well in magick, it actually has quite powerful meanings that can connected to Aphrodite.
Red correspondence ~ passion, love, courage, strength, beauty, energy, assertiveness, determination.

I am really proud of this red velvetΒ recipe, itβs so good!
Magickal properties of the cake based on its ingredients: self-love, confidence, beauty, passion, courage, strength.
Where do I get my sources?: I have been practicing for 4 years now, so I pretty much can look at an ingredient, and know what itβs magickal properties are, even though before I post, I always fact check things. I have read a lot of books and articles on it. Here are some of my favoritesβ¦

Β½ cup melted butter 2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup buttered flavored shortening 3 cups cake flourΒ 3 tbsp cream cheese 1 tsp baking soda 2 tbsp cocoa powder Pinch of salt 4 large eggs, room temperature and separated 1 tbsp vanilla extract 1 tsp distilled white vinegar A couple drops red food coloring 1 cup buttermilk
π π¨π« ππ‘π π π«π¨π¬ππ’π§π :
ΒΎ cup unsalted butter ΒΎ of a 8 oz brick cream cheese 5 Β½ cups powdered sugar 2 tsp vanilla extract
Preheat you oven to 350 F.
In a large mixing bowl, cream your shortening, melted butter, cream cheese, and sugar together. Beat in your egg yolks. Mix in your vanilla, vinegar, and buttermilk. Now fold in your dry ingredients gently for a light and fluffy cake.Β
Beat your egg whites on high speed until they become stiff peaks. Fold into your batter gently until just combined. Add in red food coloring until you reach your desired color, and mix until even.
Light a candle if you wish and fill the batter with your intentions.
Butter and flour two cake tins and pour the batter evenly into both of them. Pop them into the oven for 30-35 minutes, or until you stick a toothpick in the center of the cake, and it comes out clean, making sure not to overcook the cake.
After 1 hour of cooling, remove the cakes from the pans, so they can fully cool correctly.
For the frosting, cream your butter, sugar, and cream cheese on medium-high speed for about 3 minutes. Mix in your vanilla extract and beat for another minute. If the frosting is too thick for your liking, add in a tablespoon of heavy cream or half and half.
Assemble the cake to your liking! Offer a piece to Aphrodite and enjoy!!!

A spell to bring a friend joy when they need it.
You will Need:
π Azaleas π Lilies π Witches Grass π Orange Ribbon π Yellow Ribbon
Steps:
π Lay out the flowers and organize them as you like best
π Take your orange and yellow and begin wrapping them around the stems
πΒ βIn your time of sadness and murky skies, I bring you light and joy. These flowers will give you the joy you deserve, and bluer skies.β
π Tie the ribbons in a bow and kiss the tie and hold the stems in your hands as you do. Visualize the bouquet glowing yellow like the sun and remember the times you saw your friend smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves. Put those memories into the kiss to bring back such things.
π Present the bouquet to your friend and have them keep it somewhere they can see it often.
Ill be entirely honest, I'm confused by those that know that the new temple of Zeus and Pan was opened by a violent antisemite ultra-nationalist and are somehow saying things like "they're terrible but at least we have a temple and hopefully more will open!"
We do not have a temple.
WE do not have a temple.
Those of us that aren't Greek do not have a temple.
This is not a "win."
And to hold these values while building a temple for Zeus, the god of foreigners, you're ridiculous, and you're lame.
Zeus is not in that temple, he worships in an empty box.

Using a lunar calendar involves tracking and utilizing the phases of the moon for various purposes. Here's how you can use a lunar calendar:
Understanding the Moon Phases: Familiarize yourself with the eight primary phases of the moon: New Moon, Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, Waxing Gibbous, Full Moon, Waning Gibbous, Last Quarter, and Waning Crescent.
Setting Intentions and Goals: Each moon phase represents a different energy. New Moon is ideal for setting intentions, while Full Moon is a time for culmination and realization.
Manifestation and Planning: Plan important events, projects, or rituals aligned with the corresponding moon phase. For example, start new projects during the Waxing Crescent for growth or release unwanted habits during the Waning Moon.
Spiritual and Personal Practices: Use specific moon phases for spiritual practices like meditation, reflection, and manifestation. Many people find rituals such as charging crystals or performing moon-related ceremonies more potent during certain phases.
Gardening and Nature-Based Activities: Use the moon phases for gardening by planting seeds during the Waxing Moon for optimal growth and pruning during the Waning Moon.
Emotional Awareness: Pay attention to how the moon phases affect your emotions, energy levels, and sleep patterns. Understanding these patterns can help align activities with your natural rhythms.
Maintaining a Lunar Calendar: Keep track of the moon phases using a lunar calendar. Mark important dates and phases to assist with planning and intention-setting.
Remember, while the lunar calendar can offer guidance, personal experiences and interpretations of the moon's phases vary. Experiment with different practices to see what resonates best with you and brings you closer to your goals.

Tiktok is probably one of THE WORST places to learn about REAL hellenic polytheism because it is rampant with misinformation and most creators are only interested in views and parroting misinformation THEY heard. Yes there are some great and informative creators on there to learn about the hellenic gods but they are far and few in-between.

Add in the tomatoes and chicken stock. Once it reaches a gentle boil add in the cream, salt snd pepper and basil leaves.
Use an immersion blender to blend in tomatoes or use a potato masher until the soup is smooth.
Spoon into a bowl and top it with basil and croutons. Serve with good oleβ fashion grilled cheese.

This recipe was given to me by a friend awhile ago, and I feel it needs a little more appreciation. Theyβre super easy to make and are tasty too!
I feel one thing a kitchen witch has to master is their ability to make all sorts of bread. Itβs such a staple, and is so versatile. Not to mention how much of a crowd pleaser it is.
This recipe is a tasty bun, that when bitten into, oozes vanilla custard. Whenever I make these, they are gone in the first ten minutes. I tweaked this recipe from one of my good friends who enlightened me on this yummy recipe. I highly recommend you to try these for yourself!
Now in this recipe I will be showing you three fillings that Iβm sure you will love!
- Vanilla Custard
- Chocolate coffee cream
- Brown sugar maple custard
For the Dough
Β½ cup all-purpose flour
Β½ cup bread flour
1 cup cake flour
A sprinkle of sea salt
1/3 cup sugar
1 packet of dry yeast
Β½ cup warm almond milk (Or any type of milk)
2 tbsp heavy cream
1 egg
3 tbsp butter
For the Vanilla Custard
5 tbsp sugar
2 Β½ tbsp flour
3 egg yolks
1 cup whole milk
1 Tablespoon butter
Vanilla Bean
Vanilla ExtractΒ
For the Chocolate Coffee Cream
6 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp flour
3 egg yolks
Β½ cup whole milk
1 Tablespoon butter
ΒΌ cup expresso/ brewed coffee
Milk chocolate/ dark chocolate/ Semi-sweet chocolate (Its up to you)
For the Maple Syrup Custard
5 tbsp brown sugar
3 tbsp maple syrup
2 Β½ tbsp flour
3 egg yolks
1 cup whole milk
1 Tablespoon butter
To prepare: Set your butter and eggs out 10 minutes before you start so they enough time to come to room temperature.Β
Start by filling a measuring cup with your milk and heat in your microwave for about 20 seconds, or until when you stick a (clean) finger in, it is just warm. If it is too hot, it will kill your yeast mixture. Add your dry yeast in and stir. Let it sit for 10 minutes to bloom.
Next, in a kitchen aid (If you have one) attach the dough hook and mix your flour, salt and sugar together. Now crack an egg into the yeast mixture and add it to the kitchen aid bowl on low speed. Add in warmed cream. Let the dough hook do its magic on medium low speed until the dough is very smooth and elastic.
Add in your butter 1 tablespoon at a time and let it mix until completely smooth. About 4-5 minutes.
Oil a bowl with some neutral oil, or with some butter and place the kneaded dough ball into the bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and place in oven with the light on, or in a warm area.
Leave it to rise for 2 hours, or until doubled in size.Β
Ok, so now poke your dough and let the gas leak out from the dough. Cut it into equal sized pieces and place cling wrap on it and let it rise for another 15 minutes or more.
In the 15 minutes, now is the time to make your custard cream. On high heat, add your milk and butter and let it come to a boil. Then turn down your heat and whisk in sugar, egg, and flour. Add in your additives (Vanilla, maple syrup. etc.) and mix on low heat until it has reached a thick pudding like consistency. About 6-12 minutes. If you are doing chocolate, here is the time to melt your chocolate in, when it is off the heat. Let it cool completely.
With a rolling pin roll out the pieces of dough and place a dollop of custard in the center. Fold them over and press/pinch the sides together. Repeat the process until all of them are like this.
Place them on a tray and wrap cling wrap over them. Let them proof for about an hour, or until theyβve doubled in size again.
Now with a nonstick pan on medium low heat, place the bun in the pan and cover with lid. Cook each side for about 5 minutes, or until it is a nice golden brown. You can also cook this in an oven. 400 F for 8-15 minutes.
Now your done! Enjoy this hot and cold, they are tasty either way. It will be a little crispy when hot and soft when cold.Β
I hope you enjoy this recipe!
I love you all! My DMs, mail, and comments are always open!Β
xoxo, Angel
