that scene in tlo where thalia tells percy he can't start feeling sorry for luke bc luke made his choices. and thalia reveals that the reason they couldn't make it to camp in time for all of them to make it to camp was bc luke kept picking fights. and annabeth never saw this as wrong bc luke was her hero. so thalia had to pick up the pieces. and percy thinking both that luke was put in a cruel position and that luke was putting others in a cruel position. and percy is the only character who understood both sides of luke bc annabeth sees only the best of him and thalia sees only the worst. and that's why percy is the prophecy kid and the one who gives luke the knife. bc annabeth had spent the entire series essentially giving luke the knife when he didn't deserve it. and thalia was never going to give luke the knife. but percy is the only one who can see exactly when luke deserves the knife.

Hi everyone. My (now legal🎉) name is Shania summers. I'm a black transgender woman, beginning my medical transition on HRT September of 2021. I've been through a lot. Sexual assault. PTSD. Painful family stuff. Attacked at work this past February by a black mom and her daughter after correcting the mother who intentionally sarcastically and repeatedly kept misgendering me.

I finally replied "honey I'm a she." The lady immediately flipped out, left and came right back with her daughter to fight me. I had to literally run for my life and my manager REFUSED to ban them from coming back. I quit, because of the painful triggers from past abuse and scared of being a sitting duck. I've had to run for my life a couple weeks ago at the grocery store, at first enduring a man's verbal assault and threats to my life as he just yelled in my face about how much he hates "trans b!tch=s" and the security just happened be there to grab that psycho when he tried to run after me. Nerves just turned to jello. Urgent care and ER visits and ambulances coming to my apartment all last month because of stress, anxiety, blood pressure, panic attacks. I was prescribed Zoloft but I told the doctors it's too much for me and I can't take it anymore so they wrote me an ESA letter to get an emotional support animal(a puppy🌺) I haven't gotten a doggy yet but I'm working on that. I need help getting my blog shared to help me with my rent and food. It's been a task so far, finding a safe environment that I can work in and not have to worry about being attacked again. My mental health just can't take much more. Will y'all please share my link?

If you've ever wondered why people in Hawai'i hate tourists, try to wrap your mind around the fact that there are CURRENTLY, RIGHT NOW, tourists sipping martinis and looking at fish within swimming range of the fresh corpses of local people who couldn't escape the overnight destruction of their entire town.

Try to comprehend that there are fully functional, high capacity boats passing through the waters in front of an area full of survivors who are stranded and in need of supplies, refusing to help. They are hosting snorkeling tours.

Really think about, try your best to actually picture over two thousand people unhoused and in need of shelter, with nothing but the clothes on their backs and nothing to return to. Understand that the island, stolen land, is littered with hotels full of air conditioned of rooms with beds and showers and toilets, each fully equipped to host hundreds of families for weeks, turning these people away because they're booked up with tourists who refuse to leave.

And understand that these tourists were offered free transport to return home or be hosted on other islands. Free. Courtesy of local tax dollars. 4,000 wealthy tourists were offered free flights shelter on Oahu and begged to leave the island, BEFORE the survivors were given shelter.

And enough still insisted on remaining and carrying out their vacations that people are left without shelter and resources while they enjoy "their stay in paradise".

[Edit]: This current situation, and this type of tourist behavior is horrifying beyond words. In other circumstances, the tourism situation is much more complicated, and I need to ask that people do not add on to this post unless they are local.
