My favorite part about OCs created by preteens/young teenagers is that they’re solely constructed from Vibes. 11-15 year olds will cobble together anything and everything they think is cool and shove them into a character without hesitation. No guidelines, no shame, their only limits are their own thoughts and feelings. I love that. Please keep doing that forever

I always love Evil Religions Of Evil because at some point you have to imagine them as actual religions

Like, sure, we want to slaughter the world for our dark patron below but also when's the next big Chaos God festival and do people complain it's been overly secularised? How does the Cult of Cthulhu do weddings? Is there a cheesy youth pastor giving a bad rap about the Neverborn? Are there cultural Bhaalists?

I'm just saying, these religions tend to have huge congregations and massive temples, so it can't be all murder all the time, you know? At some point someone's going to have to do an Evil Bake Sale to pay to fix the Evil Church's Evil Roof.

If I were ever a drag king/queen I would 100% choose either “Hips Don’t Lie” by Shakira or “Pink Pony Club” by Chappell Roan as my song, because man do they make me want to abandon all societal norms and go absolutely feral in a nightclub

An important resolution I have for this year is to really step out of my comfort zone in sharing my art, which I’ll do my best with on this blog and my main one! Yippee!

To start off, here is a drawing of an oc I recently acquired! Her name is Sweet Legacy (she/they), and her design was made by fflaminlo!

She is an orphan who recently found herself adopted by the Crystal Empire’s former Captain of the Royal Guard, who retired due to PTSD from serving during Sombra’s reign. They are clumsy but adventurous, a casual enjoyer of shiny rocks and bugs, and an intense enjoyer of historical fiction! She has mild strabismus and is almost definitely somewhere on the autism spectrum. A small part of her is Abyssinian, but it’s obviously hard to tell exactly how much.

She is childhood friends with a pony named Atomic Blaze, who I will definitely post about at some point. I’ll probably link her when I do.

I think it needs to become common knowledge that "inability to read social cues" can show up as overcompensating.

You don't know how much misbehaviour is allowed, so you become the perfect child who never tests rules.

You don't know if someone is irritated with you, so you'll be extra generous and self-effacing.

You don't know how much is expected of you at work so you'll kill yourself in a minimum-wage job and not notice that nobody else is working like this.

"Hardworking and quiet" should be as much of an autism red flag as "ignores rules and doesn't know when to stop talking". Or why don't we just start using words to communicate so i can stop tracking everybody's eyebrow twitches, that would be great.
