those horse race tests i keep seeing popping off on twitter are basically just a new flavor of those algodoo marble races/stickman ragdoll survival competitions i kept seeing like 12 years ago. good times

i always felt like that if this mf never decided to post a single goddamn video onto his youtube channel then Pokemon Sword and Shield Dexit discourse would've been 1000% more civil
VERY funny phenomenon i can only get on tumblr. So there's always gonna be this brand spankin' new anime or manga that weebs all over youtube and twitter are gonna be GASSING the FUCK UP, calling it absolute peak, kino, a hidden gem, a masterpiece, and that's all i ever hear about it from these people. A while later i log onto tumblr, and i notice nobody here's talking about the show despite it being the only thing on other anime fans' minds on other sites rn. Tumblrfolk will talk about other anime like dungeonmeshi and sometimes chainsaw man all the time but nothing about that new show that's seemingly just as hyped up as those. Then i scroll around a bit, and find a bunch of instances of vagueposting all around this site going something like "uhh, this show has a lot of pro-colonialist fascist racist and possibly anti-semitic themes and messaging in its narrative... yikes" and i immediately understand why tumblr's not gassing up that show as much as other anime fans are

obviously gacha games are unethical in their very premise and frankly shouldn't exist and should never have existed to begin with but sometimes people have this weird like....idk how to describe it...view on them sort of? like they treat gachas as this sort of comprehensive source of all evil in gaming as a whole. and to be fair gacha is kind of emblematic of how late stage capitalism is ruining the essence of video games. this is mostly about how i saw someone say that even people who play gachas without spending any money on them are still addicted because of how much time they spend grinding & doing other things in the game that it's negatively affecting them
and yeah what they described in that post was very clearly addiction and they were right to call it that but video game addiction is not at all exclusive to gachas and grinding for like 12 hours while neglecting your health and other needs has been a problem within gaming for long since before gachas were ever really a thing

she looks so disappointed and sad in that boring skimpy ass maid-esque outfit, like she doesn’t want to be here. like she got shrunk into a doll and a little girl shoved her in the most awkward uncomfortable princess dress ever that’s now making her sad. this is supposed to be her super stronk SSS-rank form and yet these were the clothes she was given, looks like the uniform for a side-hustle she’s sick of instead of her super-powered kickass side. Looks like she’s gonna clean the dishes instead of clean the battlefield of its enemies. I can feel the resentment she has towards the character designers hired to work on her through the screen. girl whyyyy. she’s lookin at me like 🥺. whyyyyyy
biggest character design downgrade ever smfh
