Two things are fucking me up about the locked tomb right now

1) we know from the author’s note and can see implications in the text that harrow’s hallucinations have been ongoing, they’re not from the lobotomy or something. harrow hallucinates, that’s canon. the body is a hallucination. so how did it know to tell her to lie about her age to mercymorn. either it’s something else hiding itself among her hallucinations or harrow figured out a whole lot of shit real fast before she fucked with her brain and some of it stuck.

2) this is about that post about how mercymorn and augustine can be seen as an allegory for queer people forced to deny that part of themselves for their religion, and how it makes sense therefore that each of their cavs were the same gender as them. there’s a part where john says “if the man you were before you died … —before the Resurrection—could heat what you just said to me, he’d tear your throat out.” (chapter 51) You could argue that this just means that he’s saying augustine has changed over the last 10,000 years. BUT when I was reading the book (though I don’t have the quotes on hand to show it), I was very much under the impression that they didn’t remember who they were before the Resurrection. If that’s the case, they each have only john’s word on who they were, how they knew each other, and how they were related—and certainly john is powerful enough to have reshaped them however he wanted to. Which certainly makes that reading all the more horrific.

So ladybug has now all this new and cool powers, yes she awesome and the Miraculous of creation so it make sense, anyway. But the most powerful miraculous are BOTH Ladybug and Cat Noir they are the Ying and Yang. Is not that Ladybug is more powerfull she is just the one that is managing to figure stuff out. Marinette has this whole new support of being the guardian having all the kwamis and Alya so she is clearly evolving, which by definition is not bad. But the problem is that Adrien isn’t and he probably doesn’t even realize himself can do things like that. And when he does his powers are prob not going to be the same but I would say equivalent to hers. So this by not happening now will not just fuck him up but eventually will blow in our faces because they are supposed to Balance each other out.

See the thing is. When they announced Good Omens season 2 I was like. We absolutely do not need a second season of Good Omens. But now we have a second season of Good Omens and I’m like. If we don’t get a third season I am going to start chewing drywall.

NO ACTUALLY WHAT FUCK WHAT THIS ENDING

Im very happy and very sad at the same time. I mean finally they kissed but the end end is just devastating and dont get me wrong, this as an actual plot device is great just not for the END of the season. Mid season where I could just watch the next ep, fabulous. But now we gotta wait idk how many years for maybe a season 3 and then be sad every time that I think about it is just rude
