you still have no idea how you managed to garner his interest. him going from a small tiny crush to being your boyfriend? you had to pat yourself on the back.

so that's why you're extremely nervous and rambling about some lines in the movie you're currently watching with him, bodies tangled together. your hands are a little shaky, and maybe a little sweaty, from holding his and your heart is beating so loudly you pray he doesn't hear it.

as for suguru? he just stares at you no— admires you with a lazy grin. it's clear how nervous he makes you feel and he thinks it's endearing.

and as much as he's fond of listening to you rant about something completely irrelevant, he just couldn't help but steal a few glances at your lips. he knows you noticed too because your babbles were now a frenzy of stutters and the faint pink on your cheeks turn red, spreading through your face and all the way to your ears.

"so what happens after that was-" your words halt as you gulp and blink furiously, looking at anywhere but his face.

suguru only chuckles and shifts his body closer towards you "yeah? what happens after that?" he leans in teasingly.

"actually... i don't know" you smile to yourself, finding humour with it all and you turn, bravely too.

taking his chance, suguru closes the small distance separating you both and lands his lips onto your own. at first you freeze but then he feels you relax and melt into the kiss.

he slowly brings his hands to cup your cheeks, slowly caressing it as he gently tugs your lower lip with his teeth upon pulling away.

your forehead connects and suguru smiles fondly "you have no idea how long i waited for this" he practically purrs and your heart, for the hundredth time today, threatens to burst.

"me too" was all you could mutter out meekly.

suguru lets out a faint laugh "yeah?"

"yeah"

that was all the confirmation he needed when he leaned in to kiss you again, so much more passionate this time.

toji hates waking up early. he especially hates when you try to get up in the morning.

“toji, i need to pee.” you earn yourself a low grunt from the man, his arms tightening around you with your face squished between his forearm and bicep. his other arm is firmly wrapped around your waist, showing no signs of letting you go.

“hold it in.”

you try wiggling out of his arms, only to be stopped when he practically rolls on top of you, his chin resting on the top of your head. “stop moving, brat,” toji mutters gruffly, moving his hand down to your stomach and splaying his fingers across it, feeling the soft skin beneath.

with a resigned sigh, you reluctantly stay still, letting him pull you back against his chest. a satisfied hum rumbles from his throat. “better.”

“seriously, toji,” you huff in response, the warmth from his body enveloping you, making it difficult to focus on anything else.

he finally concedes, his arms tightening around you for a few more seconds before he loosens his grip, clicking his tongue in annoyance. “such a pain in my ass, woman. i’ll give you a minute before i’m dragging your ass back to bed.” toji grumbles, stretching out beside you as you get up from the bed.

once you’re done, you step back into the room and crawl back into bed where toji conveniently has one arm draped across the pillows. “took you long enough,” he scoffs lightly, shifting slightly when you settle back in his embrace, face nuzzling against the crook of his neck.

despite his attitude, you know toji cares deeply, even if he pretends to be grumpy about it. you can feel one of his hands wander to the plush of your hip.

“yeah, yeah. i know.” you reply with a hint of a smile on your lips.

“good,” he murmurs, burying his face in your hair. “now stop talking and go back to sleep.”

summary: i am a sucker for mutual pining. seeing megumi’s beautiful smile for the first time.

The city always seemed quieter at dusk, the usual hustle of shuffling feet and distant honking vehicles softened as you strolled alongside Megumi down the city streets. You’d been alone together many times before; yet this evening felt different, like walking along the edge of something unacknowledged as the rustle of unseen leaves filled the silence.

"Are you sure this is the right way?" you asked, breaking the comfortable silence as you glanced up at the darkening sky, painted with hues of pink and orange.

Megumi, hands tucked casually into his pockets, merely nodded. He didn’t stop walking, barely acknowledging your words as you struggled to keep up with his heavy steps. "It's a shortcut." He said, short and simple as was always his way of communicating.

“A shortcut to what exactly? You know Gojo’s going to hassle us for being late again.”

He side-eyed you, a soft sigh escaping his lips, though his expression remained neutral. You could sense an almost imperceptible shift, a stiffening of his posture at the mention of your former teacher. "Since when do you care about Gojo's timing?" His gaze, brief and stormy, met yours for a split second before drifting away.

“Touche,” you laughed, nudging his shoulder slightly. He doesn’t physically react, his pace remaining unchanged, but you could tell from the briefest flicker in his eyes that you’d at least gotten some, albeit tiny, reaction out of him.

As you continued, the path opened into an unexpected clearing, a slice of calm nestled amongst the chaos of Tokyo. The city’s hum faded, absorbed by a dense canopy of trees. As you breathed you could pick up the subtle scent of damp earth; it was a stark contrast to the city you had just come from. Serene, but almost magical.

“Wow,” you breathed, turning to find that somehow Megumi had stopped beside you, his gaze drifting upwards to the branches ahead. There wasn’t much enthusiasm on his face, especially compared to you, but there was a brief flicker of admiration in his eyes.

“This part of the city,” he said, his voice lilting into something that almost resembled fondness, “its overlooked.”

You look up, watching as the stars outstretched in the sky. It was beautiful. “Figures you’d know all the secrets in this city.” You say in awe. “It’s pretty.”

When you look back at Megumi he’s looking at you, and it was then, against the dark background of night sky, that you caught it…a smile. It was the briefest of moments, a subtle uptick of his lips as he watched you gaze at the sky. But it faded, just as quickly as it had come. In that moment you realize you’ve never actually seen Megumi smile before. Not when his face is perpetually impassive, when he’s always so guarded and reserved. No, this was a first. And my god was it beautiful. Probably the most beautiful smile you’d ever seen; no wonder he didn’t show it off because a smile like that was like the sun, burning so bright that it ignited something in you.

“Do that again,” you said, hardly containing the surprise in your voice. Your eyes slightly wider as you studied his face.

“Do what?” he replied, looking away from you, his gaze lingering on a distant tree.

You narrow your eyes. “You know what.” You say, playfully nudging his shoulder again to hide the fact that seeing him looking at you in that way, with that smile on your face…well it was bad for your heart.

He rolled his eyes, scoffing lightly. “Can we just go.” He said, as he continued to walk on in front of you.

You walk behind him, letting him guide you as the silence is filled with grassy footsteps. “You have a nice smile.” You finally say, a subtle uptick of your own lips as you avoid looking directly at him, heart pounding just a little faster in your chest. You just look on down at the ground, watching your shoes gather dirty against the muddy path.

So you missed it, missed the way his lips curved upwards again, missed the subtle blush that dusted the tips of his ears, as he lead you towards your destination.

puppyboy! satoru loves having his ears scratched.

“how’s that feel, baby?”, you coo at him, smiling at the expression of pure bliss on his face. it’s clear by the nonstop tail wagging and the way he buries his head into your touch that he’s thoroughly enjoying this.

but he whines in response anyway, face scrunching as you tease those sensitive spots at the tips of his ears. he shuffles closer to you on the couch; you have to lean back so he can straddle you like he wants, squeezing your waist and leaning forward to plant a couple of ticklish licks over your neck. satoru’s basically pinning you down right now, though you don’t mind. his clinginess and constant need for skin-to-skin contact is always welcome.

you end up zoning out while scratching his ears, allowing your mind to wander away. satoru can never get enough of this, and one scratch of his ear can become fifteen minutes of him indulging in your affection, groaning and whining as you pamper him.

but soon those groans turn to whimpers, and he grows more fidgety. you don’t pay too much attention, as satoru has always been a restless hybrid. then you hear the curses, him muttering out ‘f–fuck, oh my go–, god—!’ under his breath, and the whimpers grow louder. you don’t realize he’s grinding against your lap until you feel something hard poke at you, but by then it’s too late. it’s a struggle to hold his head in place as he’s pushing so hard against you until…

“… satoru?”

he’s gasping for breath, and his head is heavy in your palms, and his whole body collapses on top of yours. satoru whines at the mention of his name, but he doesn’t move, can’t move after what you just unknowingly put him through.

he just really, really loves those ear scratches.
