what pokemon youtubers have done to nuzlockes hurts me whenever i think about it for too long. nuzlockes aren't about planning out optimal plays and selectively sacrificing pokemon when need be to make sure everything goes as planned, they're about the emotional devastation when your favorite is ruthlessly murdered in front of your eyes and there's nothing you can do about it and you set out on a path of bloody revenge against the trainer who killed them. i still hate wulfric from x and y for what he did to my swalot all those years ago. some of you never watched marriland play wounded by kevin macleod while solemnly looking at the stats and memories of a dead pokemon before putting them to rest and releasing them as a child and it shows
