I havent seen anyone talk about this yet so im making a post. 

So lets say you’re researching something for a paper (or just for fun) and the research paper you want to read is behind a paywall, or the site makes you create an account first, or makes you pay to download, or limits you to only 5 free articles, or otherwise makes it difficult for you to read what you want.

Don't you love that feeling when you fail the first the test of the semester in class and you spend the rest of the day with horrible anxiety because you either drop the class or take a blow to your gpa and so can't focus on the 3 assignments you needed to do and you finally calm yourself down and convince yourself it's not actually a big deal and you don't need to worry about and so when you're talking to your mom later that day when you're driving around you bring it up casually and she starts freaking out on you, saying you need at least 15 hours even though there is literally no requirement saying you need 15 hours and then you start crying and she's like "why are you crying" and you try to explain how anxious and streesed you've been literally the entire day and you were just hoping for her to say it was fine if you needed to lessen your workload except you can't because you're crying and can't talk and then she's still aggravated because it was a misunderstanding and she thought you were being lazy because you were acting like it wasn't a big deal, and then you get to where you were driving and she starts talking to her friend and you're trying to casually look away from them so they can't see your face and your mom's like "oh go say hi" even though you're literally crying and you have to be polite and say hi even though you are actually fucking crying and

I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) id rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. Seriously, free and no ads or viruses with 1080p streaming is DEAD.

Thank you. This is exactly how I feel. Stuff like this is the reason I get on Tumblr, to see I'm not alone on these things, that I'm not a freak, and that there are other people who feel the same. F#?$ other people and their rules about what's "normal" or not.

Does anyone else have that one fanfiction that they’re dying to to write but it’s like, mega long and basically a whole universe, and then you’ve got head-cannons to go with that fanfiction and like fanfiction to go with that fanfiction an back-stories for every character and you get frikin’ feels about that universe and it’d be the most coolest thing if you could just be bothered to frikin’ write it.

Going from being an introverted lurker on reddit to trying to post my own stuff here is so wild. I keep typing out a post, deleting it, then retyping because I think it's not good enough but then I look at other posts and why am I so worried?

It's like I'm at a fancy Italian restaurant and keep glancing around the room to see which hand people use to pick up the forks. But then I realize that everyone is shoveling spaghetti into their mouths using their bare hands and I'm like ah okay so I'm clearly overthinking this
