Day 12 (uhh 3 days late) of my Women’s History Month art challenge!
Lucy MacLean! I LOVED the first season of Fallout, really looking forward to the second! Lucy is a fantastic protagonist, it’s awesome seeing her grow as a person and learn how to survive outside of the vault while still holding on to her optimism and kindness. I love characters like that :]
Day 2 (one day late whoops) of my little Women’s History Month art challenge!
Karlach!! I still haven’t finished my first play through of this game (I keep getting caught up in side-quests and losing interest 😭, I’ll buckle down and finish it eventually), but I literally always have her in my party. I love her I want to be her friend
Day 16 of my Women’s History Month art challenge!
Wolf!! Honestly, I still haven’t finished watching Kipo. I got to like episode 4 of season 3 and just,,,never finished it apparently? I need to do that at some point. I really liked the show though, the art style and animation is amazing and I LOVE the soundtrack. Wolf is also such a cool character, she was maybe my favorite in the whole show.
This is actually a re-draw of an older piece I made in 2020! Here’s the original:
Day 8 (only one day late!) of my Women’s History Month art challenge
I’ve never really tried to draw a game-accurate detailed GLaDOS before, and I’m not sure I want to do it again 😭 there’s so many little parts and I feel like a lot of them are at wonky angles (If you see something that looks off, no you don’t).
Anyways! I love GLaDOS, she’s a very unique character and basically every line she says is pure gold. I need to play portal 2 again sometime soon.
Also, bonus PotatOS art!! I’m sure if/when I play portal again I’ll be drawing her and my other core designs a ton, but until then, here she is :]
Day 18 (so many days late. Just so many. This was supposed to be done in March) of my Women’s History Month art challenge!
Fujiko Mine! I love Fujiko, but I don’t always love how she’s portrayed in the series (side-eyeing Mystery of Mamo in particular here). Her appearances and treatment in each movie/part is very hit-or-miss I feel.
But overall I like her a lot! Some of my favorite Fujiko characterizations are in Castle of Cagliostro, The First, and Part 5 Episode 6. It’s just fun to see Fujiko and Jigen work together for once, and all it took was the chance to beat the crap out of Lupin :]
Unrelated, but I had said I was determined to do all 31 days of this challenge. But I’m so late and I’m running out of steam, so I think I’m just gonna go for 20 and then try to do the full thing (on time) next year.
Day 4 (a day late) of my Women’s History Month art challenge!
Lup!! It’s been several years since I’ve listened to TAZ, but I adored Balance. Lup wasn’t there for much of it, but I loved what we got to see of her. I’m excited for her to show up in the graphic novels :] as with yesterday’s drawing, I’ve actually cosplayed her before. The design of her hair and the Phoenix Fire Gauntlet here are both inspired by that cosplay.
Cool guys
Day 7 (2 days late) of my Women’s History Month art challenge
Saoirse!!! Song of the Sea is perhaps my favorite movie. It’s hard to choose just one, but whenever someone asks what my favorite is this is generally the first one to come to mind. The animation, music, story, literally everything is perfect and stunning. Beautiful, beautiful movie :,)
PotatOS!!
I imagine that Wheatley put her in a potato like normal, but then while down in old Aperture Chell finds an unused core body and sticks GLaDOS in it.
For height reference: she is very small. Smaller than Space core. Tiny, tiny little robot potato lady. Who is full of hate.
Days 10 and 11 of my Women’s History Month art challenge!
(There’s two characters so I’m counting it as two days so I can catch up a bit)
Alphys and Undyne!! I haven’t played Undertale in years but I was obsessed with it in like 6th grade, I really need to replay it sometime. These two were and are very very cute together :]
