I want to be reading fanfic, not writing it. Unfortunately, I want to be reading very specific fanfic which I will in fact first have to write.

Izuku has no hope in his crush ever liking him back for many reasons - one being that recently Kacchan’s always saying he’s doing stuff “for his future wife.” “Gotta stay in shape for my future wife.” “Gotta be the best chef for my future wife.” That sort of thing.

So it’s no surprise to Izuku when he’s watching old home videos at his mom’s place and he hears 4-year-old Kacchan say, “I gotta be a hero for my future wife!”

Izuku’s mom chuckles and says, “I forgot Katsuki-kun used to call you ‘his future wife.’”

Izuku drops his chopsticks.
