Quick Question

Quick little silly concept for a Zaviva 'fanchild', in quotations because uh, she isn't really a human child lol. I don't have a name for her right now, so suggestions are VERY WELCOME PLEASE PLEASE PL-

So you might be asking "Joss!! Why is she a Zachbot and not a real human child???" And to that I say: I don't really think these two would have real children lol

It's like that opening scene from the movie Robots where they build their child. For my specific interpretations of Zach and Aviva, since they're T4T and I like to project into these fellows, I uhm! Don't really think Zach would enjoy being "the bearer of the curse" (referring to pregnancy)

Previous wording is a joke lol, but!! I do think it would be an accurate characterization for this failwife of a man that I resonate with

ANYWAYS, onto this girl herself!! Personality wise, I feel like she'd be similar to Creepie from Growing up Creepie! Which funnily enough shares a voice with Aviva. Feel as though she'd share that love for animals, but specifically regarding bugs and other... More morbid or macabre things lol

Think Wednesday Addams or Mandy from The Grim Adventures but more lively. Still very monotone though! It's that Zachbot in her, so she struggles to comprehend sarcasm or turns of phase. Mayhaps also an inherent Zach autism thing!

As of right now, I don't think she aligns with either the 'mommas girl' or daddy's girl' archetypes - she just kind of likes them both equally methinks Though, she definitely takes a lot after Aviva, both in general appearance and interests

I'd say that a lot of the time the crew and both Zach and Aviva forget that she's not a human in certain situations. Nothing major! I mean, normal Zachbots can withstand water and not short circuit lol so nothing that is DEADLY - just like. "Oh I forgot you have super strength" kinds of things

Random thoughts:

- No way she doesn't love Warrior Cats. I've never read it, know nothing about it, but she'd be roleplaying as a cat in a clan. Forcing anyone she can into it lol, with use of the Creature Power Suits or not

- ON THAT TOPIC, she would probably be fascinated with the CPS. No idea if she has the ability to use them or not. Can Zachbots use them? Who knows!

- She probably doesn't interact/mesh well with human children- Typical autism archetype, but I feel as though kids would recognize immediately that she's different. Maybe not BULLY HER, that's a bit much, but some sort of weird looks or treading lightly around her.

- She's like a typical early 2010s "weird emo kid". Maybe she uses site like MySpace? Is she allowed online? Probably not! Uh knowing yknow, the unlimited knowledge that could be horribly dangerous for a child let alone an android to have access to

Okay I have run out of thoughts FOR NOW..... If any of you have any ideas on what her name should be don't be afraid to share!! I have no idea what to do in that area lol. All that I know is that Aviva would insist that she'd have the last name Varmitech. (Off topic but as mentioned previously regarding 'I don't think these fellows would have a real child!' I also don't really think they'd get married, but that is subject to change if I think about it too much lol)

Daphne and the Wild Kratts Team

I am indeed alive!! I’ve been working on this for a while, but life has been crazy recently.

Daphne and the WK Team

Chris: Daphne likes Chris. He struggles to relate to her at times because he’s outdoors, literally touching grass. Whenever he needs help with the internet, he’ll call her over, knowing she’s good at that stuff. He watches her grow up in many ways, and is close with her, but sometimes he questions her mother’s intentions. He isn’t wholly convinced that Donita completely reformed, but he is willing to try to get over it, due to lack of evidence that she is back to her villainy ways. 

Martin: Daphne has always had an interesting relationship with Martin. Her mom was around him a lot, but she didn’t know very much about him. He was around enough for it to be suspicious, but not enough for Daphne to confront Martin or Donita about it.  Their relationship is their business and Daphne tries to just focus on her own relationship with him. He’s genuinely a very nice person, and while Daphne doesn’t talk to him without her mother around very often, he seems to be a like minded person to her. 

Aviva: Daphne loves Aviva. She’s probably the closest to Daphne of the WK team and they often chat to each other in Spanish. Aviva really cares about Daphne, but at times, especially when grades are involved, oversteps and tries to parent Daphne and force her to be better. She doesn’t think Daphne is trying hard enough in school, and doesn’t realize that math and science don’t come as easily to Daphne as they do to her. Despite all this, Daphne spends lots of time with Aviva and sends her some of her mothers finished products she thinks she’ll like.

Koki: Daphne didn’t get along very well with Koki in the beginning. They clashed a lot about the internet, since they both are on it and are prominent figures on it. Koki is against influencers in general, viewing them as scammers and not productive in society, and this bias bled into her relationship with Daphne. Daphne being Donita’s daughter didn’t help either. Koki is still semi convinced that the new being good act is just an act and Donita is waiting for them to let their guard down. As Daphne got more mature, she started talking to Koki more and told her more about her career on the internet and how not every influencer is the same. They eventually became closer, but still aren’t completely friends, with Daphne feeling hurt about what Koki said and Koki is still suspicious of Daphne.

Jimmy: Daphne rarely if ever interacts with Jimmy. She respects what he does but they just don’t have much in common. They follow each other on social media and like each other’s posts but their interactions don’t often go beyond a like and potential short comment. When they meet in person, they are both very awkward, preferring to interact with the safety of their screen in front of them. Daphne and Jimmy are both fine with this relationship, but people around them are pushing them to become closer due to their positive interactions.

She really loves yellows. Despite her mothers criticism of the color, she loves it and uses it to ‘stand out’ next to her mother. She also really loves daffodils, her favorite flower, and daisies and will try to include a reference to them in almost every outfit she wears. She’s not picky at all when it comes to clothes though and will wear pretty much anything. Aside from yellow, she loves blue and navy. But to answer your question, I don’t have a designated color palette yet, but I’m working on a mood board for her

Daphne's realtionship with the show's other villains

Zach: Daphne views Zach as one of her mother’s closest friends, and almost thinks of him as an ‘uncle’, often seeking him out for things her own mother wouldn't agree to. Daphne has always been fascinated with Zach’s inventions, particularly the Invisibility Cloak, asking him questions about them until he kicks her out. Her relationship with Zach is probably the most developed of the villains (Minus Dabio and Donita) because he has been in Daphne’s life the longest, being one of her mother’s closest friends and business partners.

Gourmand: Daphne isn’t as close to Gourmand as she used to be, mainly due to clashes about Daphne’s career and obsession with fame. He doesn’t see her job as ‘real’ work due to it being almost completely online, something Gourmand is not very adept with, and worries about her need to be famous. His struggles are rooted in love for Daphne, but his ways of showing his love can seem dismissive to Daphne, causing a rift in their relationship. Daphne still knows deep down that Gourmand cares for her and she can go to him whenever she needs.

Paisley (and Rex): Daphne has only met Paisley 3 times in her life, and has never met Rex, so her opinions on her are not really formulated yet, but, she thinks they could become close friends due to their penchant for sarcasm. Daphne wants to get closer to Paisley and eventually meet Rex, but is worried she will not be able to get the opportunity, due to her opting to officially join the Wild Kratts. Donita on the other hand, is starting to develop a relationship with Paisley, which Daphne is over the moon about, due to more opportunities to run into each other and a genuine female friendship for her mother.

Daphne: Hey Zach could I borrow your Invisibility Cloak for this Instagram Post?

Zach: Absolutely not. This cloak...

Daphne, interrupting him: Oh okay... I guess I'll go ask Aviva then. I'm sure she has something better anyways.

*5 minutes later*

Daphne: And this is a super cool Invisibility Cloak I can use
