Lake water
- peace, contentment, self-reflection
Rain water
- creativity, inspiration, energy, cleansing, protection
Melted snow water

Moon water (water that has been charged under moonlight)
- universal magickal properties, can be used in most spells for cleansing, purification, balance, and energy
Cleansed water (tap/filtered water that has been cleansed)
- again has universal magickal properties but not as strong as moon water. Mostly used for cleansing and purification.
1. Run tap water into an empty bottle and immediately pour it out
2. Fill the bottle again but this time seal the bottle.
3. Draw out a cleansing sigil. I use this one HERE
4. Tape it to the outside of the bottle.
5. Arrange four white tea lights and a long candle into a pentagram with the long candle at the apex.
6. Place the bottle of water at the centre of the pentagram
7. Light the long candle and use it to light the tea lights in a clockwise rotation.
8. Place a clear quartz on the bottle
9. Place your hand over the clear quartz and allow your positive energies to flow through it. Imagine the quartz like a magnifying glass and your energy the sun.
10. Finish your spell with your preferred method. I blow out all the candles and say “so it is”
To the anon that sent me four asks, sorry idk how to respond to all of them/ get all of them in one while on mobile rn. I’d recommend going through some of the self diagnosis stuff I’ve reblogged, there are quizzes and things. And for stims I’d recommend getting some stim toys or making some, fabric mazes, flour balloons, and bottle caps are all great stim toys that are pretty easy.
— Tiwaz —
Tiwaz is the rune associated with the god Tyr, and as such it represents much of the same qualities as him. It is a rune of victory and honor, but also of justice and sacrifice. It embodies the idea of the phrase “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one”, and can be used to represent sacrificing now in order to prevail later.
Hello my fellow witches! I’m sorry for the long absence, I’ve been traveling. Although now that I’m back, I feel as happy as ever! So this new post is about chants. Chants are short sentences, or chains of words, that are said repeatedly, and are considered a kind of spell. They can also be used in songs or rituals. First of all, why use chants? Because they are short, simple and easy to remember. They also vary from a person to another, which makes it a way to practice your own magic, and make it unique and specific to yourself. Second of all, how to create a chant? Inventing one is almost as easy as using another person’s. The only thing you need is for it to be short, and repetitive. For example: • The names of all the gods you worship placed in a specific order; • A phrase that calms you down repeated over and over again; • A short call to a certain god; • A virtue you want to apply more; Etc…
Here are some of the chants I use, as a Norse Pagan:
“Skadi, Freya, Eir, Idunn, Sigyn, Frigga, Sjofn, Hel, Sif, Angrboda”
“Huggin, Munnin, see and hear, whisper all in Odin’s ear”
“My sword for Tyr, my blood for Thor, my heart for Freya, my life for Odin”
“Stand strong as Yggdrasil, powerful as fire, sensitive as water, wise as earth, and free as air”
Of course, most of these are related to norse gods and beliefs, but feel free to use them and bend them to your liking. I often chant them through a melody that is specific to each and every one of them, which really helps! I hope this short post helped you all to understand how a chant works, and how to create one. Blessed be, sisters!
Some magical associations for the flowers of @eartheasy’s “Save the Bees by Planting These” post:
Lavender - love, attraction, healing, protection. Thyme - awareness, purification, cleansing. Cilantro - awareness, creativity, communication, success. Borage - luck, power, inspiration, increase psychic abilities. Sage - purification, exorcism, cleansing, healing. Fennel - communication, prosperity, fertility. Crocus - love, visions. Geranium - self confidence, soothes a broken heart. Aster - love. Poppy - glamours. Sunflower - happiness, healing, longevity, prosperity, love. Your garden will not only be a haven for bees but you’ll always have access to ingredients to power your magic.
Things that have been bothering me #327: how do solarpunk and lunar punk societies deal with their dead? Are the people of floating cities set adrift in the ocean? Cremation takes a lot of energy and embalming can damage the environment, and eventually we run out of space to bury people. On top of that, would they even want people being buried, away from the sun and the moon?? Or would something like sky burial or the towers of silence be more practical to them? Who tends to their dead, and what stigma does that have? What does a solar or lunar punk funeral look like? What are their mourning traditions? Are they afraid of death?
