{Foods of the Sunnah}

There is a surah in the Quran, At-Tin, named after this sweet fruit.

Figs Resemble the Fruits of Heaven:

Abu Dharr said, “The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was given a basket full of figs as a present. He said to us, "Eat!”. He ate of it and said: “If I could say that a fruit was sent down from Heaven, it would be this, as the fruit in Heaven has no stones. Eat it, as it cures hemorrhoids and it is useful for treating gout (arthritis).” [x]

Figs contain substances which promote lactation for mothers who want to breast feed their babies. They also aid in the reduction of risk for breast cancer for some women. Figs are very useful in treating hemorrhoids, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned, gout/arthritis, as the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) mentioned, inflammation, and menstrual disturbances. Figs essentially are one of the most useful foods found in nature having over 50 uses medicinally. (x)

Sometimes I really wonder how people manage to be larries but also kind of think that louis is some kind of idiot that just accepts whatever ‘nasty selfish Harry’ is doing like he’s some love fool that just accepts things while the fandom clearly sees through said version of Harry like what kind of relationship do people think they have? And do people realise they are basically questioning louis’ intelligence?

So at work today I worked with a new server and she told me and the other servers how much she loved me and how good of a worker I am and that I’d make an amazing server and omg its so nice to see people appreciate my work. My manager thanked me for coming in and doing my job and above and beyond and I was just like “dude I’m just working” lol and he’s like nah you do more than that and I’m just glad they liked my work ethic and that I get a serving job cause that pays more, a lot more. AND it’s a good job until I can do acting full time =‘) and a lot of servers tell me they love me and appreciate me <3 WHICH IS AMAZING CAUSE THEY WILL TIP ME WELL !!!

Pacific Ocean To Close In 2018

The world’s largest ocean, after being open for almost 750 million years, will end its run in July of 2018. Pacific Spokesman Roland Haphausenhauer cited over-fishing, pollution, and the bad global economy as the reasons for the closure.

“This is the end of quite an era,” said the spokesman, “We tried to keep the Pacific going as long as we could but the fact is, it’s just not profitable and it’s just no longer rewarding work for those responsible.” The Pacific has seen several hundred lay-offs in recent years, with the ocean becoming less popular with tourists and new businesses. Now over 30 billion USD in debt, the ocean will file for bankruptcy and close its shores forever.

The effects will be long lasting as ships fall to the dry ocean floor, weather and water concerns go haywire, and many countries bordering the ocean dry up and their people flee in search of water. Said Japanese oceanographer Noriyuki Honjo, “Japan as we know it is essentially over with this news. Much of our economy is based on fishing, most of our contact with other countries happens by sea. With no Pacific Ocean, our land is doomed.” Most other island nations have expressed similar fears.

This is the largest geographical closure since the breakup of Pangea, a supercontinent that comprised most of the world’s landmass well into the Mesozoic, when it was hit with an antitrust lawsuit and was forced to break into smaller continents.
