Correct me if I’m wrong but… I think I found a way to not get tracked while using a smart phone. I’m no expert so take all this with a grain of salt. I’m just saying what I think would work.
I’ll talk about location tracking, then web activity tracking. And when I talk about location tracking, I mean getting a phone that does have gps as well as the second phone that doesn’t. Just incase you get into an emergency and need to be saved.
Also, this isn’t supposed to be advertisement, I’m not getting paid to advertise anything. Even if I sound like I’m trying to sell you something.
Ok so my phone’s location can be tracked by gps, cell phone towers and wifi, right? I’m pretty sure, cell phone towers can find your general location but gps and wifi give a more exact location.
So I get a Benco V80s phone — which doesn’t have gps or cameras — and just remove the battery when I’m not using the phone, and only use public wifis in parking lots without cameras, my location can’t be tracked? You must be thinking “You just said wifi can be used to tracked your location! Why would you use public wifi?”
Well, that’s because I like using the internet, and I need wifi to use internet. Public wifi is better than actual home wifi, you don’t want people knowing your home address after all. Plus, after you’re done, you can disconnect from the wifi and take the battery out. It can’t track you after that so why not go to a public restaurant somewhere far from your home or base of operations?
And now you must be thinking “well what about the cell towers?” They can’t track a phone that isn’t on. And you’re literally taking the battery out, so how is that going to stop you?
Well what about getting online activity tracked? Well if live in the uk, you must be familiar with this. Mass surveillance in the uk allows a lot of government agencies to tract your online activities, or at least that’s what this article says.
But to answer to that is tor for android. Considering the fact that Benco V80s is an android phone, we could download that. If you don’t know what tor is, it’s a project that wants to, as stated on the website “Advance human rights and freedoms by creating and deploying free and open source anonymity and privacy technologies, supporting their unrestricted availability and use, and furthering their scientific and popular understanding.”
Of course, tor isn’t perfect but it’s as private and secure as it can get. And use tor without standing out, read as much as possible form it’s website, look for advice from tor users.
Get a VPN while you’re at it. That’s going to help a lot, I’m not going to write much about it here though. We’ve all seen enough nordVPN ads to know what it’s all about.
Even with all that, don’t go around doing crime. Just don’t, it’s illegal and immoral. That includes “CP” (we all know what that’s supposed to stand for), it’s just wrong. Plus, any criminal things you do on tor will probably make you stand out from the activists, privacy lovers and other normal civilians who aren’t doing crime.
Criminals have been caught using tor before, it’s not perfect, it’s just harder to track. It has more layers of encryption than google and is honestly better than duckduckgo. Read the article bellow for more information on duckduckgo.
So that’s going to at least mostly stop the tracking, what else? Honestly, I don’t know. Just don’t use your personal information online, even when signing up for things. You don’t know if that company tracks or collects data from you after all.
Ok so like I have this beautiful idea for a costume. I can’t draw though. I want to design and wear it. Where do I design it and how do I make it? It has a mask inspired by spider man’s mask’s mechanical eyes, so I’ll need to learn some engineering but I wanna make it a reality!
I feel like I’m a bit fucked in the head sometimes, but then again, I’m sure most people do. I love how I can read about a really gory crime scene and just be like “huh, ok.” But I’m afraid of touching content where people have to actually process their emotions and deal with consequences. I fear it while also hate when people in fiction don’t get affected after watching their families die.
Then there’s a piece of fanfiction that’s like, “this guy got skinned and had his organs removed while he was alive! The killer made his skin look like wings! The killer is also a religious cannibal with more than 26 murders in 6 months! His eldest son is a killer and cannibal that likes to decapitate his victims, who believes that bloodshed is honour. He’s also the protagonist’s coworker, they work for the FBI. The youngest son killed and ate his best friend’s stomach, because he believed the world wasn’t worthy of said best friends. He also force fed the protagonist his best friend’s lungs.” And I’m just like “oh lol ok”
Or sometimes when a I read gross out horror like body horror, I end up just appreciating it like an art piece in an art gallery. Which makes sense cuz I do enjoy body horror sculptures that could be found in art museums or smt. Like the one grease manga comic, the one where a family of people are obsessed with grease or whatever? I’m not sure if it’s the dialogue that’s scary because I read a version in a foreign language. But like, the images aren’t really bad, kinda just the type of stuff that makes you wanna go “ok, that’s was something. Anyways-“
It’s only ever like this when it’s gore in a podcast, book/articles/written work, or just things that don’t force you to look at the real thing or an attempt at making it look real. Or gross out in comic, manga, art work, written work, sculpture and, actually most gross out stuff is fine as long as it’s not the actual thing in front if me, (like if it’s body horror then I get grossed out when someone actually starts growing wings and antlers)
But the second a character feels guilty for killing their friend while either dissociating or sleep walking, I become too uncomfortable to keep reading it. People feel emotions, I feel emotions, I shouldn’t have such a problem with people feel negative emotions. Why do I feel like this?
I’m reading a fanfic called “reaper of happy homes”. I specifically like how the author wrote Tommy, they made him unreasonably OP. He’s a supervillain in the story and he basically kidnapped the rest of the sbi. He’s an avian with the power to manipulate manner, and this one isnot his power but he’s also good at manipulating people. Now my favourite part? He the way he thinks. He sounds more confident than I could ever be!
Like “Everyone likes him. If he wants someone then he gets that someone. They’re wrapped around his finger before they know it. They’re desensitized to him. Even Dream! Dream won’t turn Tommy in because Tommy doesn’t want him too. He cares too much. Bleeding, fucking heart. It can be abused though, so it was useful.”
Or “How many times was he praised to be some sort of god? He was the future, that’s what everyone had told him. He was a bright shining star, and when he finally died he’d take the rest of them with him. When he collapsed he would turn into a black hole he’d suck everyone and everything into it with him.”
Or “He did really cool things too. Cooler than what Dream and his sidekicks did. He hacked into the CIA for fun, he collected government files as if they were pokemon cards. It wasn’t even hard. One time he released a politician's private emails, sending Essempii into total chaos. He almost started WW3 because he was bored . How was saving a cat from a tree cooler than that? How was failing to stop one villain night after night somehow cooler than what Tommy did?”
Or “Tommy wished he could keep these people alive, they might have been good pets eventually. Maybe Tommy could have conditioned them to be of some use to him, maybe they could have played fetch with Wilbur and Techno, keeping them busy when Tommy had to leave.”
Or “He took deep breaths as Tommy walked over to his bag and started packing it. All the normal stuff, his laptop, a usb stick, a charger, a notepad. A grappling hook and a few small explosives were absolutely normal.”
I’ve decided 6 am is my bed time
I pulled 2 all nighters in a row, first tarot card i pulled today told me to rest (4th of swords)
Good morning peeps. Hope you’re having a great morning. Make your self some coffee, tea, hot chocolate or whatever you like to drink in the morning. Eat some breakfast, even if it’s just a small bite. Have a great day.
(~7 = around 7)
I remember a fanfic that did something that reminded me of ~7 year old me. What they did was they made a person alternate between hero and villain. Or sometimes-they’re-a-hero-sometimes-they’re-a-villain.
And ~7 year old me loved to take a barbie doll that was supposed to be a hero, and have her cover her face with her hair to hide her hero identity. When her hero identity was hidden, she was a villain. She’d cause trouble, get out of sight, show her hero identity and “defeat the villain”. Basically, she took credit for “defeating” herself.
This of course wouldn’t actually work in real life, mainly because in real life people don’t have super powers. The other part is because the barbie always showed herself, in the same clothes as her hero self. Another part is because it’d take too much effort.
Studying sounds nice and productive but where do i get motivation?
Ello, I’m Nox. I’m new to tumblr, I didn’t move here from twitter, I just wanted to start a blog. Hope I’m welcome here.
