Oh my đ«Łđ„” Irma you've done it again, this was amazing!!
Summary: comming up on the anniversity of Hawkins' earthwake, Eddie notices a new twitch that's been troubling you in your sleep. One morning he calms you down by waking you up with kisses that soon turn into something more. ////This is a request from the lovely @eddington-munson but I accidentally hit 'delete' instead of 'post' like a jackass just when I was about to post it directly as a reply to your ask. The prompt was: unconsciously searching out each otherâs hand while sleeping + sleepy kisses. Thank you for requesting, Tori!! words: 1k // CW: PIV sex, unprotected sex, morning sex, a little bit of angst but lots and lots of fluff. ST4 VOL 2 SPOILERS. fix-it fic. PS. if anybody gets the references of the place where they move and who these new metalhead friends are, I'll be delighted to know!
This is a new quirk heâs noticed.Â
It started afterâŠwell, after the great cataclysm.Â
After youâd emerged from the Upside-Down, rushed Eddie to the hospital along with Dustin and remained glued to his side until heâd been cleaned up and bandaged.Â
When all was tranquil two days after, you were able to rest your eyes and feel safe enough on Eddieâs chest to finally doze off into a deep sleep in the hospital bed.Â
Eddie had remained wide awake though â heâd just slayn hundreds of demobats yet he couldnât kill those war flashbacks and the moments where heâd looked at the grim reaper right in the eye. It hadnât been as badass of a sight as his favorite albums painted it out to be. He had been scared, like he never had in his life.Â
Amidst that mental dialogue, he had noticed you whimpering in his embrace. Your arms shot out of the blanket, hands itching to grasp onto something as your entire body shook and your hushed whimpers turned into pained moans. Â
He had tightened his hold around you, gently nuzzling your head to try and calm you down, but your arms outstretched more urgently and it wasnât until he interlocked his fingers with yours that you were finally able to wind down slowly, with your breath coming back to normal and your body relaxing against his once more.Â
After that, you hadnât waited long to flee from Hawkins, leaving it as a figment of the past to start anew.Â
You moved to Aurora, Illinois and were living in a tiny department in a decent neighborhood. Life was slow paced and step by step you nurtured your tiny square of a home into the cozy space you deserved after everything youâd been through together. You even lived in the same lane where this group of fellow metalheads broadcasted their own TV show from home, which you quickly befriended and with whom you went out to shows at The Gasworks bar. Â
Recently though, Eddie had begun to notice that late at night, like clockwork, you started to whimper like you had all those nights ago at the hospital.Â
One time youâd been laying face to face in bed and youâd accidentally slapped him in the forehead trying to seek for his hand; heâd quietly chuckled and captured your twitchy fingers in his until you calmed down.Â
You did this sporadically, but Eddie never once complained about being woken up. He held you closer each time, holding your hand in a tight grip until the frown on your face smoothed out.
He reasoned that maybe youâd started doing this because the anniversary of the event was creeping up.
Settling you down at night tugged at the strings of his heart with equal parts of endearment for how you sought for him in sleep but also guilt for having put you through such distress. After all, you had gone out to search for him the very moment he had been declared a suspect of Chrissy Cunningham's murder and afterwards you followed him along to Hell itself just to make sure he made it out alive. Youâre his hero.Â
In tune with his poderning, you start to quiver in his arms, weakly at first before your arms are clawing at the sheets seeking Eddieâs form. He was spooning you from behind so he envelopes his arm around your middle, slots his face in the crook of your neck and blankets his front to your back before grabbing your hand.Â
Outside, the sun is rising and timidly peering through the curtains, sweeping away the blue hues of the night with beams of white sunshine that turn everything softer.Â
You shiver, instinctively squeezing Eddieâs hand in yours, making him shush you, murmur sweet nothings against your forehead.Â
âIâm here, babyâŠIâm hereâŠweâre safeâŠâÂ
His gentle words serve as a lifeline as you come back to the waking world and realize there are no monsters around you, no more darkness nor streaks of blood-red lightning.Â
You relax with a feeble moan before Eddie turns you over in his arms so youâll wake up to the shield of his chest in front of your face.Â
His heart swoons over the sight that greets him: your sleepy eyes slowly blinking awake â once, then twice â before you nuzzle your head against Eddieâs front once more to try to sneak in five more minutes of sleep. Â
Because Eddieâs such a little shit he wonât let you go that easily, pressing smooches along the crown of your head, your forehead and temples until heâs kissing away the sleep from your eyelids before going down to your scrunched nose.Â
Now that youâre awake youâll have to put up with his affection â he doesnât make the rules.Â
âEddie!â You push him by the chest but he takes advantage of you breaking into a fit of giggles to swallow the sound with his own lips despite your complaints. âMorning breathâŠâ you sigh against his mouth.Â
âSo?â Eddie couldnât give a single fuck about that â heâs sure youâve stuck with him through worse, like when youâve had quickies in dirty bathrooms right after his shows when heâs all showered in sweat, when you kiss him after heâs been chain smoking out of nervousness, or when you stuck with him while he was on the run, hiding at Reefer Rickâs without a proper shower for days.
He licks into your mouth and merely rests his lips against it, not really doing much other than lightly pressing them to yours, exchanging breath and drinking in your quiet moans as if they were his first sip of freshly brewed coffee in the morning.Â
You wrap yourself around him, clinging to his shoulder blades that protrude from his old Megadeth tee he uses as pajamas. He usually sleeps shirtless unless the crisp air from the last bit of winter likes to linger on some nights.
The rest of his body begins to wake as you languidly rub yourself against him to seek his warmth, hiking up a leg on the small of his back which he firmly grasps so youâll remain pressed to him while he continues to kiss you tenderly.Â
Itâs a Sunday morning and thereâs nowhere else to be; itâs a morning faraway from the urgency of last yearâs peril and Eddie takes advantage of the kind of leisure you have been granted where once he thought he wouldnât survive the year of 1986.Â
The hand that had been supporting your leg moves over to your lower back, adding more pressure to his rutting against your core while he kisses you.Â
âEddieâŠâ you whine against his mouth, lips joined only by a frail string of saliva.Â
âLet go, baby, Iâm hereâŠweâre safe,â He whispers, more out of reassurance for the both of you rather than seduction. Itâs a gentle kind of mood this morning.Â
You free his erection from his boxers and slowly glide his silky head all over your wet folds, eliciting a deep groan right out of Eddieâs chest before he joins your hand where itâs wrapped around the base and guides his cock, inch by tantalizing inch inside you until he bottoms out. Â
He doesnât move immediately â seeks your lips again, serenely switching between exploring the inside of your mouth with his tongue and nibbling your bottom lip before sucking on it, hissing each time he feels a contraction of your walls squeezing his cock, enveloped by your heat.Â
Itâs when he feels you scratching the nape of his neck and entangling your fingers amidst his heap of frizzy curls that he starts to move his hips, planting one foot on the bed to keep his thrusts in a slow, deliberate pace.Â
The time you spend interlocked with one another seems endless; all else dims except for your hushed moans and sighs, the wet sounds of your tongues as they trace each otherâs lips, as you bite and suck on the sides of your necks and earlobes, as well as the juices that Eddie pumps right out of you, dripping down your thighs each time the head of his cock grazes your g-spot and the subtle slaps of skin against skin as he rams into you.Â
He can hear the sound of his heartbeat ringing in his ears which compels him to augment the speed of his thrusts just enough to feed that fuzzy feeling thatâs overflowing from deep within his core and extending all over his skin leaving behind goosebumps.
Heâs moaning and moaning and moaning your name, the faster he goes, and now heâs the one that needs your hand for support.
He grabs it and pins you down on your back to plunge himself all the more deeper without breaking his steady pace.Â
âEddie, Eddie, EddieâŠâ you quietly chant, over and over against his lips. One hand you squeeze, soothing his knuckles, while the other travels down to rub your clit in wide, urgent circles.Â
âI got you (Y/N). Youâre safe, let goâŠcum with meâŠâÂ
âI know you do, Eddie, I knowâŠohhâŠâÂ
You both cum with a shared grunt against each otherâs mouths; itâs one of those prolonged orgasms that start as a tiny flicker that pulses and pulses and pulses in crescendo until youâre sent out of orbit, suspended in a sea of stars and never ending pleasure.Â
Youâre pulling yourselves closer to one another to ride that lightning and hold on until the thrumming within you starts to recede.Â
Eddie grins on your lips, making both of you chuckle in a sleepy daze.
He doesnât pull out of you for a long while, cradling your face in his hands to kiss you with more determination now that youâre fully awake.Â
âIâm here,â He reaffirms, staring intently at you with all the conviction he can express through his big doe eyes. âWeâre safe.â
âI know, Eddie,â you nod and give him one last peck on the lips, placing your palms atop his hands where they lay against your cheeks. "We're finally safe."

hello, mi amor. "barefoot" from the June prompts, with señor Munson
please and thank you đ„°
(A/N: Tori, thank you so, so SO MUCH for being my first request EVER, this means a lot to me because I was terrified when I decided to do this that I wouldn't get any. I had been toying with this idea already but your prompt was what pulled everything together in my mind. This is based on the song, 'Living on a Prayer' by Bon Jovi. Shoutout to @hersweetrevenge for also requesting 'barefoot' though I have another thing in the works for that <3) Hope this isn't too angsty! lots of hurt and comfort ahead.
âYou okay there, sweetheart?âÂ
âHuh?âÂ
Youâd barely heard Eddie, gaze adrift as the Hawkins streets flash by in a blur and the early afternoon wind fans your face.Â
âGot something on your mind?â He lowers the volume of the radio, glancing at you while he drives.Â
âIâm okay, Eds.â You smile at him briefly before your sight is pulled back to the passing sights outside the window once more. Better to fix on the progressions of streets and locals and trees than Eddieâs knowing brown eyes, or else a wayward tear might escape you beyond your will.Â
âNo youâre not. What is it?âÂ
âItâs nothing, promise.â Â
His silence is louder than words and from your peripheral view you could still see him staring intently, pleading for you to give him an opening. He never pushed you for anything and you appreciated his patience, for life had shaped a hard shell around you that was tough to crack at times, even after having been dating Eddie for as long as you had.Â
âItâs silly.â You shrug.Â
âTry me.âÂ
âI just have a lot on my mind.â You cannot let your voice waver, not now. âI guess Iâm just tired.âÂ
You try to convince yourself that the itch beneath your eyes was merely exhaustion, lack of sleep â instead of the urge to cry youâd been fighting since the moment you woke up to another day of having to face the same shit as always.Â
On the weekends, you worked the morning shift at a small diner downtown, and every Saturday, Eddie would pick you up from your shift and from then the whole day was entirely yours to do whatever you desired. Sometimes youâd accompany him to one of his dealings, spend all that money on lunch and beer and head out to the lake to smoke and listen to music. On occasion youâd just head straight to his home to watch TV or read as he practiced his guitar solos.Â
You treasured your Saturday evenings more than anything in your life and you pretty much lived your days waiting for that 6th day of the week to come.Â
But that first stretch of the day, it was hell.Â
Youâd been feeling like youâd been running on fumes since the semester began, with your routine beginning to take a toll on you as the endless days of repetitiveness dragged on. School all morning, work all evening, managing to do your homework in between breaks or late at night, leaving you no time for a proper sleep.Â
By the time Saturday rolled around you were just dead tired and getting up in the morning for that one shift was an entire task on its own, when you wanted nothing more than to just sleep uninterrupted and actually wake up when your body felt rested, not by the shrill of an alarm. On the other hand, since Starcourt had opened its doors and the disaster that came afterwards, it left the little diner completely deserted. They might as well just close it already, but the owners kept holding on to hope that their luck might change.Â
Not a soul visited downtown anymore â life in Hawkins in general just wasnât what it used to be â which further enraged you because despite that, you still had to be there on your feet with a fake smile plastered on your face, serving the ghosts of the customers that used to come.Â
You just wanted to be done with it already. With everything.Â
You had no strength left to keep pushing through â burning on both ends of the stick.Â
At least graduation was right there at the cusp of this semester, you just had to endure a couple of more weeks and youâd be free from the prison that was high school, unlessâÂ
â--babe? Weâre here.â Â
You hadnât even realized you had gotten lost in your mental ramblings and had tuned Eddie out again.Â
By the time you regain consciousness of your surroundings you realize that Eddie had parked in the same spot as always, right by the Lakeside. âOh! Sorry, Eddie. Iâm feeling really out of it today.âÂ
âWe can always head back home if youâre not feeling well.âÂ
âNo, no, no, itâs fine, donât worry about me.âÂ
He keeps staring, as if trying to catch a glimpse of the root of your sadness projected on your eyes, but youâre grateful that he doesnât bring it to the light if he does find it.Â
âWell letâs get some food in you then, sweetheart.âÂ
He sets up a blanket right by the edge of the water and cranks up the volume of his vanâs stereo. The mood today wasnât for a specific album so he just left the radio playing while you settled down with a warm combo from Bennyâs Burgers and a couple of milkshakes. Â
The evening passed by peacefully, with Eddieâs head on your lap, stealing your fries â which, at that point youâd given up on playfully scolding him and just fed them to him; talking about everything and nothing and enjoying the element of surprise as to which song was going to begin playing on the radio.Â
Eddie didnât breach the subject, though he never took his hands from you, softly caressing your sides, holding your hand, or turning his head into your tummy as his way of signaling that he wanted you to play with his hair.Â
Feeling the weight of his body in yours grounds you.Â
And as the air turns cooler and the colors in the sky transform into this great watercolor painting of pinks blending into light blues, you gradually start to feel lighter in your heart â at least for this moment, here and now.Â
The song that had been playing on the radio dies down, and the crackling grain of the transmission fades into a mystical synth in crescendo giving way to the recognizable baseline of Bon Joviâs newest single, Living on a Prayer, making Eddie spring to his feet.Â
âUghh I fucking hate Bon Jovi, man!â Â
âNoooo, no, Eddie, don't change the station! I like that song!âÂ
He stops in the way to his van and looks absolutely baffled but heâs never been one to deny you anything, so he reluctantly complies and comes back to his sitting position beside you â looking like a scolded puppy, nonetheless. âOkay, for you, (Y/N), just for you.âÂ
âOhh come on, what do you have against it?âÂ
âJon Bon Joviâs just a pretty boy, people only like that band because they have a crush on him. Who names a band after their own last name anyway? A super douche, thatâs who.âÂ
âOh my god, Eddie, thatâs not true! Besides, you practically have the same hairstyle!âÂ
Your belly hurts from laughing at Eddieâs bulging eyes and dramatic gasp the moment you say that â the harder you keep laughing the goofier he gets, pretending to be stabbed in the heart and grunting exaggeratedly as he throws himself on his back. Â
âOh please donât say that, (Y/N), you killed me.â Â
âLike you don't have your fair share of questionable preferences, Munson! I know you have a Rod Stewart tape in your car, Iâve seen it.âÂ
Now he really looked like a deer-in-headlights, lying on the ground gaping at you.Â
â...No I donâtâÂ
âOhh yes you do! You want me to go get it?âÂ
âOkay, okay, okay,â he sits up and pulls you to him, âthereâs no need for that kind of aggression, babe.âÂ
âYouâre something else, Munson,â you lovingly shake your head before leaning on his embrace and turning to look at the horizon. The sky was now changing into deeper hues of blue as the evening got colder, and you couldnât help but feel melancholic over your time here with Eddie coming to an end soon.Â
Of having to go back to the dim lights and suffocating walls of your house.Â
We've got to hold on to what we've got
It doesn't make a difference if we make it or not
We've got each other and that's a lot for love
We'll give it a shot
âHeâs right though,â Eddie murmurs.Â
âBon Jovi? About what?âÂ
Eddie replies by getting to his feet and extending a palm out to you, as an exact representation of the lyrics currently being sung. âTake off your shoes,âÂ
âJust what kind of freakish thing youâre gonna have me do, Munson.âÂ
He merely chuckles and rolls his eyes, âJust do it.âÂ
He removes his reeboks and socks before rolling his jeans to his knees, prompting you to do the same.Â
When youâre both bare footed, Eddie interlocks your fingers with his and gently leads you until youâre both ankle deep in the lake, carefully threading on the surface until youâre able to have your full calves bathed in the cooling water, with the song now playing from a distance, mixed with the crickets coming out to sing from their hideout and the sound of the waves lapping at your feet.Â
Gina dreams of running away
When she cries in the night, Tommy whispers
Baby, it's okay, somedayÂ
He envelopes himself around you, letting you rest your head on the side of his neck while you cling your palms to his shoulder blades, tightening the hold and concentrating on his scent in order to contain the dam of tears that had been threatening to come flooding out all day. You knew that it wouldnât take much for it to break and spill out, but you wanted to hold on until you were all alone in your room at night, with no one to see.Â
You didnât want to soak Eddieâs denim vest with your tears.Â
Didnât want to burden Eddie with your feelings, although deep down inside you knew he would never back out on you like that.Â
He started to sway to the music despite his earlier complaints about the song (and youâd definitely tease him for it later when the opportunity arises).Â
âŠwe're halfway there
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Take my hand, we'll make it I swear
You were so focused on trying to keep it together that when you feel the feather-light press of his lips on your forehead, all the whitenoise inside your brain shuts and all you could do was nuzzle your cheek to his chest and pray this moment lasts a lifetime.Â
âListen, I know youâre tired,â Eddie mutters against your hairline, âYou donât have to tell me if you donât want to, but I get the feeling I know whatâs been stressing you these days. Weâre so close to the finish line, sweetheart. It always gets rougher before we start to see the light at the end of the tunnel.âÂ
Your heart constricts with his words.Â
âBut what if nothing changes after we graduate? What if things don't get better, what if this is it? All I see in my future is work and the dullness of this town. And what if you donât graduate, what am I gonna do then? Whatâs gonna happen to us?âÂ
âNothing is gonna happen to us, and donât worry about me not graduating. Donât worry about any of that right now. Right now weâre listening to a shitty song â âÂ
You lift your head with a playful leer âÂ
â-- Weâre listening to Bon Jovi,â he chuckles, âin the middle of nowhere, our feet deep in the Lake. Iâm not worried about anything other than my feet getting cold and you shaming me for liking Rod Stewart.âÂ
âŠOh, we've got to hold on, ready or not
You live for the fight when it's all that you've got
You wrap your arms around his neck and truly look at him then â at his bright eyes filled with enough hope for the two of you.Â
If all else in your life spiraled out of order, you could always come back to this.Â
To this moment on a summerâs eve, on this safe haven that is Eddieâs embrace and the music that transports you away to an idyllic place where itâs not 1986.Â
âThank you, Eddie.âÂ
Heâs got a tender grin as he clears a lone tear trailing down your cheek with his thumb and cradles your face with his palms.Â
âYouâve got nothing to thank me for, baby.âÂ
âŠTake my hand, we'll make it I swear
Woah, livin' on a prayer
Stranger Things has a problem with killing off side characters. I think Eddie's death just felt too stereotypical when he easily could've fit in like another Robin. I honestly think for how the Duffer Brothers were insisting on an emotional gut punch, how people were gonna die, they should've killed off bigger characters like Steve, Nancy, Jonathan, Max, people who were already foreshadowed to suffer.
I'm not saying Eddie shouldn't have suffered but it just comes across as so cheap that every new character must die for an emotional output, and the main characters have to be permanent. I think Eddie had the potential to be so much more and he will be dearly missed (and live on in my fanfiction lol)
Oh that's an amazing coincedence! im so glad that it was more relatable for you <3
Summary: A headcanon where the reader and Eddie adopt a big dog + my general ideas about him and pets. Just whole lotta fluff.
Pairing: Eddie Munson x Gn!Reader
â First, let's settle this; He is definitely a dog person. He has nothing against cats. In fact, he would love to pet them, if there aren't any available dogs around.
â His goofy, sweet personality works like a charm when it comes to big dogs.
â He always wanted to adopt one growing up but unfortunately, his dad was never there to support his wish. So when you went to him and asked if he'd want to adopt a big dog with you, he was over the moon.
â He always wanted to adopt one growing up but unfortunately, his dad was never there to support his wish. So when you went to him and asked if he'd want to adopt a big dog with you, he was over the moon.
â One day, you went to the Hawkins Shelter and looked at all the puppies until you found *the* one.
â He was an Australian Shepherd with the cutest smile on his face, looking at both of you as you went to pet him.
â He was wagging his tail to the right with a quick pace. Eddie became so excited and hyper, telling you 'Look, he likes us! Oh. My. God. Look at that cute little face!'
â He quickly crouched in front of the dog and his hands went behind the dogs' ears, scratching there saying 'Hey handsome.'
â After a few minutes of petting and whispering sweet nothings to the cute dog, Eddie ushered you to sit next to him. He was so happy; His eyes were beaming with light and he had the biggest smile on his face. Your heart melted at the sight and you sat next to him immediately.
â He stopped petting the dog because it was your turn... Plus, he had to take a picture of you and your soon-to-be-adopted-shepherd to immortalize this moment. He thought that you looked too cute to be true.
â After all the paperwork, you all went back to his trailer and you started to prepare a little sleeping spot full of pillows and a blanket for the dog inside. While you were working on that, Eddie and him were running outside, getting rid of the excess energy.
â When they came back inside, you guided the dog to his sleeping spot and petted him until he fell asleep. Eddie was watching the two of you and thought of how lucky he got.
â Eddie loves to roughhouse the dog and play fetch with him. In short: He loves to do all the crazy, energy-requiring activities.
â Unfortunately, he isn't always available to go home right after school. Sometimes he stays for his D&D campaigns or practices with his band.
â If he was busy that day, when he comes home; He makes sure both of your 'son' is taken care of and he makes it up to him, showering him with pets on his head, scratches behind his ear and cuddles.
â Oh and also, Eddie's uncle Wayne loves the dog too and he was so happy to hear that both of you decided to adopt him together.
â He knew how much you made his nephew happy and that you were the best thing that ever happened to him.
Author's note: I plan on making an Eddie taglist, would any of you interested in being in it? If so, let me know! Hope you enjoyed it and don't forget to check my other works.

Spoilers below cut, you have been warned!
After Max found out that she was going to die tomorrow, she couldn't sleep. Instead, all she ever wanted was to write letters to the ones she cared for the most. Or to the ones she wanted to say something for the last time. She knew that she didn't have much time left so she wanted to leave others something that they could cherish after she was gone.
While Nancy and Robin were choosing their âacademic looksâ for tomorrow upstairs, you helped them pick some of the pieces they were going to wear. As much as you wanted to stay right beside Max, she was too busy with her letters and didnât want to talk to anyone. And as a result of that, you were now listening to Steve whining about always being the goddamn babysitter.Â
âNancy, does Robin look like an academic scholar to you?â He asked while looking at Nancy, moving his eyebrows up and furrowing them, asking the question seriously.
Then immediately, you heard Robin saying âOh my god it has a little ballerina in it!â while holding a small music box, showing it to you and the others.Â
âRobin itâs not the best time-â you quickly whispered. You were sitting on Nancyâs bed so you were close to Robin. She heard you and quickly but clumsily, she closed the cute little box and put it where it belonged.Â
Steve was looking in Robin's direction and he rolled his eyes, clearly annoyed at how Robin always ended up partnering with Nancy when he couldâve spent that time with her. He turned to Nancy once more to check if she was sure of the decision she made... She was.
âMaybe not right now but when she wears this, she will be.â Nancy smiled and turned to the rest of you. She was holding a preppy, pastel colored flared top and a long skirt. She also had some jewelry for Robin which fitted with the whole vibe of that look. Robin looked at Nancy in disbelief and tried to protest her but she also knew she didnât have another choice.
After deciding Nancyâs look too, you all kicked Steve out of the room. âOh so you guys are gonna change now? Well I uh, I can turn around and wait.â
âSteve⊠leave this to us girls, okay?â
âOh okay⊠Well, Iâll just go and check up on the others.â
âLet me know if you guys need anything.â He said as he walked out of the room. Robin got up from the bed and followed Steve to close the door behind him. She was saying âYeah yeah we will, just go now.â
As she was closing the door, Steve turned to his back and tried to stop Robin, his hands on the door. âYou know I can use my charm Nancy!â He yelled.
âSTEVE DO US A FAVOR AND GO BABYSIT THE GODDAMN KIDS!â Robin shouted as she closed the door shut to Steveâs face.Â
You looked at Robin and saw the amusement in her eyes. She was trying to hold back her laughter because Steve was desperately trying to be close to Nancy. You also tried not to laugh and you guys were now having a kind of staring contest to see who would break out laughing first.Â
But neither of you lasted another second as you started to give up and laugh loudly. While you guys were busy having fun, you noticed that Nancy was giggling, she had a little smirk on her face. She was trying to hide it but she wasnât very good at it.
All of you stayed at the Wheelersâ house that night.
                                         ****
After Nancy and Ms Wheeler made sure everyone had a blanket and a pillow, Ms Wheeler said good night to everybody and got out of the living room in order to go to her bedroom.
When Nancy heard the cracks coming from the stairs, she understood that her mother was far away from them. Without wasting another second, she turned to Steve, Lucas and Dustin and told them that they had to keep an eye out for Max.Â
Anything couldâve happened to her in a matter of seconds and none of you wanted that. So in order to prevent it or at least discover it before it's too late, Nancy thought of watching over her.Â
Even though you didnât know how to protect her from an invisible murderer-monster, you knew she would feel safer with other people around her.
And it was up to the guys to watch over her. You normally wouldâve stayed with them but Nancy invited you to her bedroom and you couldnât turn down a more comfortable sleeping environment. Robin was going to sleep in Nancyâs room too.Â
Everyone said good night and the three of you headed upstairs. After a little walk down the hallway, you reached the bedroom and got settled, getting ready to sleep. Just after you, Nancy and Robin sat down on Nancyâs bed and they started to go over their plan for tomorrow one last time, before sleeping.
They were trying to keep it quiet but Robin wasnât really good at whispering. You didnât mind it though. After the visions and the horrible nightmares you had for the past couple of days, you didnât want to be alone in the dark. So needless to say, you were happy about the company.
                                         *****
And after you had a much needed quality sleep, tomorrow came.
You woke up feeling the tingling and warm sensation of sun rays on your face. It was early in the morning; the sun was shining and the birds were chiming. It seemed like it ought to be a good day. At least, you hoped that way but life had other plans for all of you.
While you were still under your blanket, yawning and trying to get rid of the foggines that was covering your brain due to just waking up, you heard Nancy rushing out the door.Â
She went downstairs and walked to the living room quickly to check on Max and the others. You stood up and went to the bathroom to wash your face. A few minutes passed and you heard Robin calling your name for you to come to the living room.
You rapidly went downstairs and joined the others. Everyone was packing their things and were ready to go. Nancy and Robin were going to the asylum as planned and Max wanted to drop off some of her letters to her house so Steve was going to drive the kids there.Â
And while the others were busy with all of that, you were going to go to the supermarket to grab Eddie some snacks⊠and maybe a 6 pack. They promised to go back to the shack and check him in the evening if everything worked out perfectly. So you had to be prepared in case you got to see him. Â
                                        ****
After shopping, you wanted to reach out to Eddie and tell him that you got him the six pack he desperately wanted. Though unfortunately, Steve and Nancy got the walkie talkies and you didnât have another option other than Dustinâs setup if you wanted to talk to Eddie. So, you went to Dustinâs house to try out your luck.Â
With a paper bag full of snacks and beer cans, you knocked on the Hendersons' door. A few seconds passed and you knocked again. Hearing nothing but a distant car engine noise, you started to grow impatient. You knocked one more time and yelled,
âMs Henderson, are you at home?Â
âHELLO? Anybody?â
It was clear that she wasnât at home. But you didnât give up, you werenât planning on it. So, you wandered around the house and found Dustinâs bedroom window. You needed something to step on in order to reach the window and get inside. Luckily, there was a mini ladder in the backyard of their neighbor.
You swiftly skimmed around and saw that no one was nearby; Hendersonsâ neighbors mustâve been at work and there was no one in plain sight.Â
Then, with the adrenaline rushing, you quickly moved over to their garden and grabbed the little white wooden ladder, placed it underneath the window and climbed up.
When you grabbed the hems of the window, you put all the pressure on your hands and jumped inside, landing on the floor. When your body met the floor, there was a big noise. A noise big enough to alert Dustinâs cat. You quickly stood up.
Youâve been at Dustinâs house dozens of times by now and you tried to pet Tews in every chance you got. A year or two ago, their first cat Mews died and in order to open their house to a new cat and try to fill the emotional gap, they adopted the cute little Tews.
âHey baby.â You whispered gently and Tews came closer to you, rubbing himself onto your legs. You quickly crouched and started to pet him. Hearing the lovely purrs he makes made your heart melt.Â
You continued to pet him a little longer and as far as you could tell, Tews was very happy with his current situation. As much as you wanted to spend more time with him, you had to speak to Eddie.Â
Itâs been a long time since you two last talked and you desperately wanted to hear him. Hear him saying that he was safe and happy.Â
You didnât know all of Dustinâs ham radio setup but luckily you knew the basics. He has taught you about it when you asked what it was the first time you were in his house.Â
You werenât actually curious about how it worked but when he started to tell you all the details about it, you knew you had to listen to him because he was so happy to teach it to somebody. You couldnât stop him after you saw the excitement in his eyes.
And this one time in Family Video Parlor, while he was telling about his day to Steve, he mentioned that he taught you about his radio.
âSee, (Y/N) is way cooler than you, Steve. You never wanted to learn about it!â
âWoah woah woah woah⊠Henderson?â He looked hurt, placing a hand over his heart as if he had been stabbed.Â
âDonât sound so surprised Steve, heâs right. She is definitely cooler than you.â Added Robin.
You chuckled at the sight in front of you; Steve was furrowing his eyebrows and his mouth was agape, looking confused and a little sad. He was definitely putting on a show.Â
In the meantime, Dustin was looking directly in his eyes, challenging him and smiling brightly than ever. These little moments brought joy to your life.
                                       ****
After setting the radio and controlling all the buttons, you braced yourself and touched the voice button.Â
âMunson, can you hear me?â
No sound.Â
âIf you can hear me, please say something Munson. This should be working.â
Still no answer.
You tried again.
âEddie, please answer me⊠EDDIE!â
After yelling, you heard nothing but Tewsâ little meow. You couldnât comprehend what was going on. You did everything like Dustin has shown you. You checked all the buttons again, fearing the worst;
What if Eddie got caught? What if the police found him? Or worse, what if Jason and the others found him? You didnât want to let the bad thoughts consume you but it was late. You were already scared.
You felt your vision getting blurry as your eyes began to water up. You looked around the room in an attempt to clear your head but suddenly, there was this painful ache in your heart, your throat burning.Â
You didnât know what to do. For a few seconds, you blankly stared at the wall in front of you, trying to come up with an idea. Then you thought of communicating with the others so that you guys could make a plan and go see him sooner. Â
You were trying to change the station in order to reach out to Dustinâs walkie talkie. You did the last adjustments and you were ready to go.Â
âDustin? Dustin please tell me you copy.â
â(Y/N)? How?â
âI uh, broke into your house but that's not important right now.âÂ
You tried to ignore the lump in your throat and continued: âI canât reach out to Eddie and Iâm worried, like really worried.âÂ
â...Are you sure you checked all the buttons? Maybe you made a mistake-â
You knitted your eyebrows as you felt a couple of tears streaming down your cheek and tried your hardest not to break into tears.Â
âDustin look. I controlled them over and over again. I didnât make a mistake. We have to go to the shack as soon as possible, I need to know if heâs alright.âÂ
âMaybe he is busy with something (Y/N). Weâre here at the graveyard right now, Max is sitting in front of Billyâs gravestone, reading her letter to him.â
âOnce she finishes, weâll come pick you up and go to the shack okay? I promise. But us coming to you, it could take a while.â
âDustin please, you donât understand. We have to check up on him as soon as we can. We could be too late.â
For a while, Dustin didnât give you an answer and you didnât hear anything from them. Not even a single noise.Â
âDustin?...DUSTIN.â
You heard a distant voice, you figured that it belonged to Lucas. âDUSTIN SHEâS FLOATING! ...FLOATING!!â
â...Oh sHIT SHIT SHIT!â Dustin exclaimed. His voice was higher than usual, meaning he was really scared.
âWHAT DO YOU MEAN FLOATING? DUSTIN WHA-â
â(Y/N) GOTTA GO TALK TO YA LATER.â
                                           ****
After talking to Dustin, you had so many questions but you didnât have anything to do. Your hands were tied and this waiting was going to drive you nuts.Â
Hoping that Nancy and Robin found a way to beat Vecna, you laid down on Dustinâs bed and drifted off to a small nap without realizing. Turns out, after all that mental exhaustion you desperately needed a rest.Â
Even though your nap was small, the dream you saw had a long lasting effect on you even after you woke up.Â
In your dream, you were in the same exact position, laying down on Dustinâs bed in their house, Tews snuggling up to you. For a second, you looked so peaceful.
But this moment didnât stay for long. After a few seconds, you woke up to a gunshot sound that had just flared. The noise came from somewhere close, as if it happened in the backyard of Hendersonsâ.Â
You quickly but carefully stood up, trying not to wake the cat up. First, you looked outside from the living room window but you couldnât quite tell who those people were at first glance. But there were two people, one on the ground who was fighting for his life and the other was holding the gun towards him.Â
You rapidly made your way to the backyard door and opened it. When the guy with the gun heard the noise, he started to run, escaping the backyard.Â
You yelled at the guy for him to turn back, so that you could understand who it was. But when the sleepiness wore down, you understood everything perfectly. It was Jason.
So, that meant that the person who was shot would be⊠Eddie. You quickly turned your gaze towards the guy on the floor. And it was him. Gasping for air, his torso covered in blood, a single tear streaming down his left cheek.
You ran to him, almost throwing yourself at the ground beside him. Your hands immediately cupped his face and his gaze turned towards you, leaning into your touch.
â(Y/N)?â He looked deeply in your eyes and forced a smile. It was obvious that he was in pain. You tried to keep your composure for a little bit, trying to look brave for him.
âEddie, Eddie youâre going to be okay. I promise baby, I promise everything is going to be alright.â
You dropped your hands and looked around for Dustin, Steve⊠For anyone. But unfortunately, there was no one. It was only you and him.
âIâm sorry. Sorry for puttinâ you through hell. You didnât deserve it.â He hardly said while gritting his teeth. Your heart broke at his words.
âNo Eddie, none of it is your fault. This is not goodbye, you hear me? Weâll get you to the hospital and-.â
âI love you (Y/N).â he whispered.
And a tear fell down your cheek. He already accepted his fate and now it was your turn to accept the hard reality.
âI love you too Eddie.â
                                          ****
You woke up in cold sweat as you heard Steveâs car roll in. You couldnât comprehend where you were for a long minute or two. That was one of the worst nightmares you ever had in your entire life. Seeing someone you truly love die in your armsâŠ
You heard the lock of the main door opening and Dustin yelling â(Y/N)! We have so much to tell you!â If it wasnât for Dustin, it wouldâve taken you much longer to grasp the reality. It was just a nightmare, you thought to yourself. None of it was real.Â
âD-Dustin! Iâm here with Tews.â you exclaimed and they followed the sound of your voice.Â
When Steve, Lucas, Dustin and Max came to the room, Lucas said, âYou wonât believe what happenedâŠâ and they all turned to Max. She looked distressed, tired and she had her headphones on, listening to Running Up That Hill by Kate Bush.Â
While all of the gaze was turned towards her, she was trying to avoid eye contact, her arms were crossed. But eventually, she started to tell you about what just happened to her minutes ago and the others joined her, telling the story from their point of view.Â
                                          ****
After learning all the stuff about Max escaping Vecna with the help of her favorite song, you felt a certain comfort. If something were to happen to you, at least you knew what to do; You had to listen to your favorite song and stick to your happiest memories. When you thought back of all of the happy memories you had, there was always a certain person popping up in all of them: That person was none other than Eddie Munson. Â
You were still debating on whether to tell the others about your symptoms or not when all of you heard a knock on the door. It was Nancy and Robin. When they saw Max safe and sound, they felt a wave of relief washing all over them.Â
After everybody catched up on the latest news in a detailed manner, you finally filled everyone in about Eddie. How you couldnât reach out to him and that it has been a couple of days since you guys last saw him⊠That you missed him and that you were worried about him. And finally, they all agreed to go to the shack to look out for him.Â
                                          ****
A long car ride after, you were finally at the shack. But there was a problem: Police cars were everywhere. Your breathing started to fasten at the sight that was being displayed right in front of you. You all momentarily froze, trying to understand what was happening.Â
Steve was the first one to get out of the car and seconds after, he was followed by you. As soon as you got out of the car, you saw Jason, all wet and wrapped up in a blanket. He was talking with one of the police chiefs.Â
You instantly turned to Steve, only to find out that he was looking at you with worry in his eyes. You returned him the same look and your eyes went back to Jason. Still talking with the chief, he felt your eyes on him and fixed his gaze towards you. Youâve never been fond of him -although he didnât know that- and all this âhuntingâ thing and the nightmare you just saw, were not helping the situation.
After locking eyes with him, you politely flashed him a little smile. He didnât know you were close with Eddie and you thought that you could use that to your advantage. Talking to him couldâve helped you understand where Eddie was. You quickly returned your gaze towards Steve and mouthed âGo and leave him to me.â
He said âNo I canât leave you with this guy.âÂ
You quickly moved to Steveâs side and whispered to him so no one else could hear you: âHe shouldnât see Dustin and Lucas. Donât you remember what Lucas said?â
â...What about you?â
âHe doesnât know Iâm close to Eddie and I have a plan. Donât worry, just drive somewhere safe and be alert in case he calls.â
âOn it.â He turned to the car and opened the door, putting one foot in.
âOh and Steve?â He turned to you.
âYeah?â
âCome pick me up 15 minutes later.â

After Dustin said, âThatâs what weâre gonna find out.â he started to give a speech about bravery and courage. âGuys, I know this is going to be tough but we have to stand tall and overpower the supreme evil: Vecna. We just have to make plans and act accordingly if we want to learn more information and conquer his throne⊠SO WHOâS WITH ME?â
No sound. You were all looking at each other, trying to calculate your chances of winning this war. In the meantime, Dustin was looking at all of you with wide eyes and open arms, waiting for someone to say something. You could see the expectancy in his eyes. As you were still looking around the room, he became more frustrated. He turned to Steve and said,
âSteve, youâve done this THOUSANDS of times. You saved our lives and risked yours over and over again. Iâm asking you to do it one more time.â
â...â Steve was hesitant. He knitted his eyebrows.
âAW CâMON MAN!â Dustin shouted and wasted no time, turning to Eddie:
âWhat about you, the almighty dungeon master?â
âDustin⊠you know Iâm a wanted man, right?â Eddie replied. Dustin was growing impatient.
âMax?â He asked to the girl next to him.Â
âNope.â
Lastly, he turned to Robin.Â
âRobin, sweet Robin. I know I can always count on you⊠right?âÂ
Robin was looking around the room, trying to act like she was clueless. When she heard her name coming from Dustinâs mouth, she turned to him and said âWhat? Iâm sorry I wasnât listening.Â
Only then, Dustin snapped.
âNo guys COME ON. Youâre joking right? You have GOT to be joking !â
After seeing his crazy movements and the way he was strolling furiously around the room, Max started to laugh, she wasnât able to hold her composure anymore. Â
Dustin turned to Max, not being able to comprehend anything. âWhat are you laughing at!?â He said, his voice cracking in a funny way when he highered the pitch of his tone. Unable to stop laughing at how funny he looked, Max said âIâm sorry-â and continued to laugh a little more.
Becoming more angry than ever, Dustin stopped his little stroll and walked in front of Max. He looked at her straight in the eye⊠then pulled a strand of her hair. He was acting like he was in a huge fight but it was more like a scene you would normally see in a comedy movie. When Max started to yelp in pain, Steve yelled âHey HEY HEY!â and stepped between the two of them. He pulled Dustin away from her but he was still trying to get a hold of her, squinting his eyes and mumbling some words under his breath while pouting.Â
Steve grabbed his shoulders and steadied Dustin, telling âHenderson, HENDERSON STOP. We were just messing with you. Of course we will fight whatever this is, together. And I gotta save your ass a couple more times because you clearly canât.â
âAlso, what the hell was that? Apologize from Max, dude. That wasnât cool. Like, super not cool.â Steve shook his head in disapproval, being overly dramatic the way he always did when it came to Dustin.
Dustin turned to Max, hands clasped together in front of his body. He was looking at the ground and he sighed, âI apologize Max.â He was looking like a guilty little cat, with his tail between his legs. All of you were laughing at the view in front of you now.
âSorry Dustin, what was that? Couldnât hear you.â Max replied with a grin on her face. She already heard what he said but she was just enjoying the moment.
                                                       ****Â
You were now in Steveâs car with the others, except Eddie of course. After the little prank they did to Dustin, everybody thought That it was better to divide into two groups: Nancy and Robin were going to go to the local library to find more information while Max, Dustin and Steve were going to the school's guidance counselor in hopes of finding a reason to Chrissy's murder.Â
While they were sorting out the groups, you asked âHold on, so Nancy is going to help us too? That's awesome!â You liked her and more importantly, Steve liked her. You knew he had a crush on her from the beginning and you always teased him about it. You were now doing the same thing, looking at Steve with a smug smirk on your face from the rearview mirror. When he heard the excitement in your voice and saw that silly little smirk on your face, he couldn't help but to put a smile on his face. Oh by the way, Dustin liked to tease him too, like a lot.
âSteve loves Naancy, Steve loves NancyyyâŠâ
âOkay shut up Henderson.â He was already done with Dustinâs nagging. He hoped that Dustin would shut up but on the contrary, you listened to Dustin saying the same thing over and over again for the rest of your ride home. At least the ride wasn't that long.Â
When Steve got closer to your house, he slowed down and asked: âYou sure you don't want to come with us?â
âI've got school work to do but I'll catch you guys later. Good luck!â
And after all the good goodbyes, they drove off and disappeared into the woods.
                                                                   ****Â
The thing you said about school work was actually a lie. After the nightmare you saw last night, you wanted to be alone. You didn't want to go back to your house but you had nowhere else to go. So, you gathered all your courage and now you were standing in the front yard. All the memories you had in that house, the good and the bad came rushing into your head. But it wasn't like what you feared. It was more like a sweet, nostalgic feeling.Â
As you opened the door and took a step in, you finally understood how much you have missed the place. Everything was perfectly in its place. There was even a little layer of dust covering the surfaces of the objects you had laying around in your house. You quickly climbed up the stairs, rushing to get inside your bedroom.Â
When you opened the door of your bedroom, you felt this big wave of nostalgia hit you like never before. Your favorite stuffed animal was right next to your big, fluffy pillows and after the night you stayed in the shack with Eddie, you definitely needed a comfortable bed to sleep on. It was getting dark and at that moment, all you ever wanted was to sleep in your bed, surrounded by the feeling of familiarity.Â
You immediately switched on the lights, opened your wardrobe and grabbed a pair of pajamas. You then closed the curtains and started to change; you sat on your bed and untied the lace of your shoes. While you were trying to get rid of your shoes quickly, you heard a voice calling your name.Â
It was a low-pitched man's voice and it almost sounded like a grunt. â(Y/N)â he said. Hearing the tone of his voice sent shivers down your spine. As your mind started to wander whose voice could that be, the deep voice called out your name once again. It sounded like it was coming from downstairs. So you slowly put down the pair of shoes you had in your hands, got up from the bed and without hurrying, you made your way to the door of your bedroom. You reached for the handle of the door. Once your fingertips touched the handle, the lights in your room started to flicker.Â
Youâve experienced shortage or other electrical problems before but this was nowhere close to your older experiences. While the lights were still flickering, you thought of opening the curtains to check if your neighbors were having the same problem. But when you took a step back from the door, the lights started to flicker wildly and a voice called out your name again. But it wasnât the same deep voice that youâve heard a few seconds ago. It belonged to your mother.Â
Her sweet, silky voice was now coming from just outside of your bedroom, behind the closed door. You turned to the door and slowly grabbed the handle, waiting to hear more from her. You felt like your mind was playing games to you but at the same time you were trying to be as cautious as possible because there was something off, clearly. Although you thought you were dreaming or worse, seeing yet another nightmare, you were fully conscious of your actions and you were able to feel the coldness of the metal door handle. Â
âHoney, my hands are full! Please open the door for me so I can get insiide!â She sounds so real, you thought to yourself. What if itâs all real? What if sheâs right here, behind the door?
While you were deep in thoughts, you didnât make a single move or a noise. You heard your motherâs voice once again, then again and again. Each time, she was growing more frustrated. You were able to tell that by the sound of her voice. Then she stopped talking.
And the deep manly voice started to talk again: â(Y/N), you canât escape from your past. Itâs time for you to face it!â With that, the lights started to flicker one last time. All the flashing and confusion made you feel dizzy and your head started to spin. You turned your back against the door and you slowly collapsed to the floor. You were on the verge of crying when suddenly, you heard your motherâs voice one last time.Â
This time, there was no sign of that sweet little voice you heard earlier. It was now filled with hatred and disgust. She was calling you names and saying verbally abusive things to you⊠Just like the way she used to do back then.Â
âYou are a fucking coward (Y/N). YOU HEAR ME? YOUâVE ALWAYS BEEN. You are NOTHING but a disappointment in our eyes. Donât you EVER forget that!â
And just like that, you were crying. Crying from fear, confusion, sadness. But it was mostly anger. All this time, you tried to remember the happy moments you had with your parents before the mall fire but the bad memories always overcame them. You tried to remember them as good people but the way they acted towards you, the pain they left you with always seemed to stick, no matter how hard you tried to forget. Of course you loved them but⊠There was always going to be a âbutâ.Â
As the voice kept getting louder and louder after each word, you started to cry even harder. While you were on the floor sitting, you brought your knees closer to you and slightly lowered your head, keeping it between your legs. You were shaking your head, yelling âNo, no, no, no, NO!â repeatedly. You wanted to escape but it felt impossible.
                                                                      ****
After the horrible hallucination or whatever it was you had last night, you woke up on the floor with a terrible headache. You tried to remember what happened after you started to cry and yell for help but you couldnât seem to remember anything. I probably passed out, you thought to yourself.Â
You got off the floor, quickly went to change your clothes and went downstairs to get a painkiller. You didnât want to dwell on last night but it was haunting you, you needed to tell someone about it. Or would have they thought that you were going crazy?Â
You tried to leave these thoughts behind as you walked out of the house and started to look around for your old trust-worthy bike. In hopes of being able to distract yourself, you hopped on your bike and headed to Wheelersâ house. You thought of spending alone time with Nancy as she was one of your closest friends.Â
But to your surprise, Steve, Dustin, Max, Robin and Lucas were there too. When you knocked on the door, Mrs Wheeler opened it and greeted you with her charming usual smile. At first she was surprised to see you but she welcomed you sweetly and let you in. While you were making your way to Nancyâs bedroom, Mrs Wheeler asked if you had your breakfast and said âIf you hadnât, feel free to join us! Iâve made some pancakes and I know youâll love âem!â You kindly declined her offer and passed by the kitchen. As you were passing by, Mr Wheeler saw you and he sighed loudly, saying âGreat! Another kid!âÂ
You acted like you didnât see nor hear him. He was always in a grumpy mood so it wasnât anything unusual. You were thinking about what he said, so clearly there were others inside. You were still walking when suddenly you saw everyone gathered around Max in the living room.Â
Her face was more pale than usual, it was as if she saw a ghost or something. She was telling a story, one that made everyone go silent. They saw that you came but none of them made a noise. Nancy made a quick small move to you to come and sit with them silently. And you did as she wanted.Â
Max was trying to appear as normal but it was obvious how frightened she was from the way she was acting. You knew her for some time now and whenever something bad happened to her, she tried to hide her feelings the best she can and tried to look stoic. You wondered if she finally decided to open up about what she had been through after Billyâs death but she was talking about something else: About her death.
                                                         ****
A few minutes passed and you started to understand what was going on. Also when Max finished telling her story, they made a small recap for you:
After they dropped you off, Steveâs group went to Ms. Kelleyâs house and Max tried to talk to her about Chrissy but she was so strict about studentsâ confidentiality so while she was distracted, Max took the keys to her office and ran back to Steveâs car. After a small ride to the school, they broke into the office and looked at Chrissy and Fredâs patient files. After investigating a little, they found that Chrissy and Fred were showing the same symptoms before they were found dead.Â
Until this point, everything seemed somewhat normal but after this, things were starting to get stranger. When they found the same information on both of the files, Max said that she started to realize she was having the same troubles as they did. Constant headaches, a (preferably) fresh trauma, seeing weird hallucinations, trouble sleeping etc.
When you heard her say those things, you started to feel tense. You were having the same problems as they have had too. But Max wasnât done talking so she continued and you didnât say anything.Â
After they found the information they needed, she said that they started to pack their things in order to leave the office. As they were packing, she claimed that she heard a voice. A deep, manly voice calling her name. She said that the source was coming from the hallway and the others seemed to not care, so she left the others and went outside alone to look at what was happening in there. When she got out, she heard a noise -she quickly made an imitation of it for you to understand it better- and saw a big ancient grandfather clock at the end of the hallway. The same voice called out her name once again.
Then suddenly, she stopped talking. Her eyes began to get watery, she looked like she was in pain. She was trying so hard to be brave, that was very typical of Max but was it really necessary in a situation like this? It almost seemed impossible to you.Â
After steadying herself a little, she looked at each one of you in the eye. She was having a hard time trying to find the right words. Later, she explained the timeline of what Chrissy and Fred went through and when exactly those things happened to them. Lastly she said, âI donât know how much time Iâve left but looks like Iâm gonna die tomorrow.â
Everyone was devastated and none of you seemed to have an answer nor a solution for her. Your heart was breaking. You couldâve done anything in your power to save you from this curse but you were not able to do anything at that moment. None of you were.
And it was time for Robin and Nancy to share the news that they had. They said that they looked at old newspapers and searched their headlines about supernatural things happening around Hawkins. They claimed that they searched through them for hours and finally, they found a headline with Victor Creel in it. Turns out theyâve read the article and thought that this man could be very helpful. He was also the guy Eddieâs uncle mentioned in a previous interview she did with him, Nancy stated. He said that Victor used to do the same thing to his previous victims and that she had to find a way to talk to him. And she added that Robin and her thought that he was the only person who couldâve helped them, even though he was a cold-blooded serial killer.Â
âIsnât he locked up somewhere?â Lucas asked genuinely.
âYes, in a mental asylum to be exact.â Robin stated.
âUh how are you guys going to-â
âWeâll find a way, donât worry about it.â said Nancy.Â
                                                                     ****
After the discussion, everyone was now dealing with other stuff: They were either spending time with Max, trying to spend time with her and not leave her alone in case something happened to her or they were making a plan to reach Victor Creel.Â
You felt really sorry about Max, but you couldnât help but wonder about your own situation. You were afraid, confused and you felt all alone but you didnât make a sound because you simply didnât want to draw any attention to yourself when Maxâs situation was far more urgent.Â
Deep in thoughts, you heard a faint noise coming from under one of the couch pillows. You simply made your way over to the source of the noise, not sure if you were seeing one of the visions again. You slowly flipped the cushion over, trying to be as careful as possible but you saw a walkie talkie under it. You sighed in relief as you took it in your hands. You were waiting for another noise from the person who was at the end of the line.Â
âHenderson⊠Wheeler? ANYBODY?!âÂ
It was Eddie. From the sound of his voice, you could tell that he has been waiting for an answer for a long time. He sounded really frustrated and annoyed. You wondered how long he has been trying to reach out to one of you guys. So you wasted no time and touched the button to speak up.Â
âEddie hi, itâs me.â
âAh, (Y/L/N), my personal favorite last name out of all the others Iâve been saying.â He said with a gentle tone. Then quickly added:
âFor the PAST COUPLE OF HOURS.â and continued, âYou guys are coming, right? Iâm kinda short on supplies here and Iâm on the edge of having a mental breakdown because of staying here all by myself.â
âAlso, I missed you⊠like a lot, actually. Aand if you ever get a chance, please say hi to my guitar. My baby mustâve been so lonely.âÂ
âOkay easy now, Munson.â
âFirst of all, we are kinda dealing with a lot right now and it could take a while for us to come to you. Also it would be better if we explain it to you in person. Other than that I missed you too and unfortunately I canât go anywhere near your guitar because the inside of your trailer is considered a crime scene, you remember that?â
âUh I KNOW, goddammit!I just want to show her to you.â You giggled a little at how cute he sounded when he was frustrated.Â
âI will meet her someday Eddie, I promise. Donât worry about it now, okay? Just be safe.â
âOkay now that I have your promise, I donât want anything else. Although I can have a 6 pack. I know itâs not the best time to drink beer but-â
âJust stay inside and weâll try to come as soon as we can, okay? Iâll try to grab a 6 pack for you but I canât make a promise about this one.â
âEh, I tried. See you soon, sweetheart.â
âSee ya Munson.â

After your small talk with Eddie, you gathered everyone together and said what he wanted to say to the others: He needed a food delivery soon and wanted you guys to visit him. Although he wanted you guys near him, the others have already made other plans. Nancy and Robin were going to go to the asylum to talk with Victor Creel and Steve was going to babysit the kids. They left it up to you whether you wanted to go to the asylum or not.Â
You were really worried about Max and wanted to spend time with her if these times were going to be her last. With time, pain brought you two closer, because of the mall fire. You tried to talk to her about her feelings and be there for her but she always had this barrier between her and the others. Though you always made sure she knew that you were there for her and she appreciated it no matter what. So you stayed with Steve and helped him babysit Dustin, Max and Lucas.Â
While you were staying at the Wheelersâ, you had no clue about what was happening to Eddie. Â
