Omg I participated in the 41st CSP Illustration Contest!
It’s my first time ever and I put a lot of work into it. I’m very happy with the results!
I’m now eagerly anxiously waiting for the results
Please check out my work if you like fantasy art!
Is it just me, or is tumblr infested with bots recently?
Mystical town. Urban sketches. #6, set of 10.
Over the wall.
TUMBLR, I PRESENT TO YOU THE ONLY ARCANE FANART I’VE MANAGED TO FINISH, as of this date.
Took me a while, but I’m extremely happy and proud of this one. All my work paid off, and I think this one has really shown me my progress.
Jayce’s face still icks me though. I KNOW something ain’t right, but I couldn’t figure him out. I’m super happy with Viktor though, it really does look like him.
For some reason I struggled for wAy Too long with Jayce’s face. Like damn. I thought Vik would be more complicated but nope.

This is the plant I chose for my hybrid homework. I’ll combine it with the white heron and make something cool 😎.
I kinda don’t like how the studies turned out tho. They look nice, but are a bit too dark in comparison to the real thing. The photos were a little bit too neon, too saturated, and in an attempt to do the impossible with normal watercolor paints it turned out like that.

Sharing the beginnings of my fantasy novel here, hoping someone might feel drawn by the synopsis and take a peek inside.
As with any piece of writing, there’s still a lot of editing to do, but seeing it evolve and become something greater than you thought it could be at the beginning, is the lovely thing about the journey.
Copypasted synopsis from the wattpad version
In a war-torn world, the ancestral peoples of the Old Country are decreasing in number at an alarming rate, after two decades of war with the humans and elves. The Eagle-People have been pushed back so far from their lands they're going extinct, however there is the growing thunder of a rebellion in the West beyond the Athar Keep, where dragons lie in wait.
A lost eaglet torn cruelly from her family must now travel beyond the Keep, the only shelter left for those like her. However, what she'll find over the Wall will change the tide of the war.

Finally, today I felt like my first chapters are going in the right direction. The scene is being set. Connections are being made.
I hope the foundation is enough to make readers cry with what comes afterward.
my thoughts on the movie
Mystical town. Urban sketches. #1, set of 10.
I did 10 sketches as part of the sketchbook I had to turn in as art college homework. I really enjoyed doing these urban sketches. At first I was really bummed with the idea, as drawing inanimate things, like buildings and such is not something I particularly enjoy. So I found a way to make it fun; stylize it in a way I’d like it and add something fun to it, something magical and mysterious that wasn’t there in real life. This way, I ended up seriously enjoying these urban sketches.
Because I procrastinated for so long, I had to do in like 5 days, 20 drawings for the sketchbook. I still tried to ignore the pressure and stress I felt and enjoy it, and I succeeded. It was honestly my favorite part of the semester, getting to finally stretch my creative muscles. By ignoring the pressure, and actually having fun with exploring new styles and ways to make my art look different, I managed to breeze through the sketchbook in time.
I’m really proud of those 20 I made, even these set of urban sketches that I really didn’t want to do at the beginning and wasn’t looking forward to. But I’m happy with what I created. Really happy.
Thinking they’d look great as short animations and prints. I’m totally doing that.
