He stared down at the rotted corpse, there is no remorse or sympathy that he feels. His predecessor failed in killing Jake sully— and now he’s here to finish what he couldn’t do. The green fletching arrows were intimidating— and struck horror in the depths of his chest. He doesn’t know if it’s his own delusion but he swears he feels a ghost of pain in his chest and torso— in the exact same spot his counter body was shot at.

Besides him Lyle patted down the skeleton, hesitating as his fingers came in contact with a crinkled piece of paper tucked inside a pocket. Quaritch was lost in his own dilema, dusting off the leftover debris from the human skull in the palm of his hands. ❝ Colonel— this belongs to you❞ Lyle motioned to the folded paper while nervously flicking his tail. Quaritch snatched the paper from his hand and unfolded the wrinkled paper sheet. It was a photo— of you. You were smiling, eyes sparkling in delight. You were gazing down at a floral bouquet— riddled with the rare plants of Pandora. You begged him— hell even pleaded with him to make you one.

And his human counter part couldn’t tell you no. Instead he sent out his group of men along with a few scientist to bring him those specific flowers that you wanted. He sees now just how crafty you were— those flowers were incredibly difficult to get. They were found in parts of the jungle that humans weren’t able to access due to the danger of hostile predators. You had given him a specific list of just what you wanted— claiming you wanted nothing but the best. And he— he could provided them for you couldn’t he? Because he was the Colonel, he was a man who could do it all. In truth— they were more than just meets the eye. The scientist had wanted their greedy little hands on them but weren’t able due to the restriction of the area.

You were a smart little thing— able to batt your eyelashes at him and purr at his chest. Seducing him to your whims. You had gotten what you wanted from him— and well it’s not like he didn’t get what he wanted— everything has a price after all. It was only until later that he realized the truth of your actions and affection towards him— but it was far too late for him to care. You could use him for as much as you like, as long as you stayed in his embrace.

His thumb brushed against the picture, wishing willfully to have you back in his arms. He pocketed the picture in his vest, he’ll have you back soon in his arms. For now— he would have to settle with this photo.

sometimes i wonder if writing is worth my time

Well that depends ya know? Does it help you? Do you feel better when you write? Etc— it all depends on how you feel about writing. It doesn’t have to be forever— if your exhausted you can take a break. No one is hurrying you.

For example, I love writing. I’m not pursing it as a career but I just enjoy writing because I get to show people my writing and in return they leave comments and that totally makes my day 🫶

I know I said I was leaving Tumblr for a while but...

and the third one is Recom Miles x one of my Navi ocs and a lil fun fact about her she is half ash and ash forest. and when her ash side comes into play (family and culture wise) it is wild like I've made up so much stuff for the ash navi in my head. (They are lowkey horrible people tbh) at least some parts but like when they all come out. ima have so much fun writing them.

In the upcoming avatar movie they have said that the ‘ ash people ‘ would be ‘ evil ‘ so honestly having your character like that is really piquing mt curiosity and I can’t wait!

BEING COURTED

#SYNOPSIS— headcanon on being courted by Tsu’tey

#CHARACTER(S)— Tsu’tey Rongloa Ateyitan

Tsu’tey would be confused by the different approaches on how humans attract a potential mate or in human terms to woo a potential suitor. He would start out by doing what he was taught to attract a mate in his own terms. He’ll start by doing small gestures first, offering you his own food from his plate during clan meals. Offering his first batch of prey he catches and dedicating them towards you. Prancing himself like a peacock, puffing out his chest and showing off his skills. These actions are to show how much of a reliable mate he can be.

The second stage of courting would depend on your attitude towards the first courting stage. Seeing how you praise him for his catch and compliment him he’ll start taking bigger steps. He’ll present you with his own hair beads offering them to you, even going as far to hunt exotic animals and offer their feathers to you. If he sees you thanking him for his gifts and even offering your own hair beads/feathers he’ll be more than delighted to wear them and prance them around with his clanmates.

The last stage of courting is intimate. It’s not something that can be officially spoken about in front of others seeing as it’s a sign of vulnerability and trust. (The queue is a vulnerable part of the Na’vi body. It can enable mental communication, emotions/feelings etc.)Tsu’tey would probably take you to the tree of souls and offer to do your hair/brush it/to braid it/decorate it with his own trinkets and gifts to you. To let someone else take care of such a vulnerable part of the body is a sign of trust and acceptance(in human standards it’s implications of bearing their own naked body to their partner and trusting them not let any harm fall upon them) Tsu’tey would be ecstatic in your acceptance and overwhelmed in your faith in him. He’ll take this moment very seriously and make sure no mistakes happen in this precious bonding moment.

However this all depends on your knowledge of being courted by a Na’vi. If you were to be a rather oblivious to his implying attraction towards you he would begrudgingly go to Jake Sully for help. Tsu’tey would try to court you in human standards. He finds himself confused by human mating customs. But he can find the beauty in it, such as giving flowers. He can decorate your hair with flowers weaved into your braid. Plans ‘ dates ‘ as humans calls it. Takes you to pretty scenery’s or takes you hunting with him. Going flying with him on his ikran anything that seems like a bonding moment with you.

The last step would probably be offering you a ring wedged with pretty rocks surrounding it, a makeshift ring. He would offer it to you, bend down on one knee and gazing up at you. By that time I’m sure you would of caught the drift of his attraction towards you.

Also I have a lot going on, but I'm still trying to get these chapters out at least once a week

but, you know keep guessing i wanna see what you come up with.
