-First, Sonic did not know that the term for what he was in human culture was “trans” so he never truly mentioned it to Tom or Maddie.

-When they did notice something was special about their boy was until Knuckles and Tails were already a part of the family, they went camping and at some point the boys felt the urge to yknow go.

Tom was ready to take them to a nearby lake to do what they had to do but Sonic stood behind with Maddie and said he was going somewhere else. Everyone was suspicious but they did not say anything.

The second time was when he finally told them. Sonic was starting to feel incredibly uncomfortable with his chest so he started wearing shirts more often. One time he was standing in front of the mirror having a crisis of gender dysphoria when Tom walked in to call him for lunch.

Sonic was nervous about how his dad would react now, but Tom reassured him immediately and explained him how it was called in the human race.

After that, he had the courage to also tell Maddie who help him find a nice binder to use :)

japanese sonic is my fav headcanon ever. him not being able to properly communicate w everyone when he was younger cuz he literally does not know english is my reasoning for why classic is is quiet. bro doesn’t even know what’s going on

I’ve grown a strange fascination with this background character from #42.

Sure they look like any avatar you’d make from Forces given the getup and wispon,

But then you get this shot.

Either,

It’s a female character drawn without pants, which is explicitly against Sega’s mandates for IDW - the legs are the exact same color as the rest of their body, unless it’s a Marine type of situation, those might as well just be their legs, plus their top is covered

Or it’s a male character drawn with visibly long eyelashes - they’ve had thick lashes before on the boys, but they (usually) never stuck out like that, that’s typically drawn for girls

Or it’s a Shadow eyeshadow (heh) situation and very well could be an error

Both are fantastic options and they are now under my custody.

Sonic the Hedgehog X Princess Elise Fan Child

I made her take after her father most (obviously as a Mobian) I did mix in some “Human” like features, her eyes are much more round like human eyes, she has longer legs, and her ears are rounded but animal like, though I made them more round because of Human ears being rounder. I gave her freckles because Elise has “red” hair and generally genetically redheads get freckles easier and so I decided to give them to their daughter. She’s purple because of the mix of Elise’s red hair and Sonic’s blue fur, and her eyes are a mixture of their eyes as well. I think she is would have a spunky personality.
