Baby Ayla was born into starvation, and has struggled with malnutrition all her life. Since birth, she has faced an IOF-imposed blockade on food and the IOF’s deliberate destruction of potable water sources in Gaza. Now it is taking really its toll on her, and she has severe diarrhea.
Ayla is rapidly losing the few fluids she has in her body, and the IOF assault has made food, water, and medicine extremely scarce. For a toddler, this is absolutely life-threatening. If she cannot replenish the bodily fluids she is losing, her fragile kidneys will go into failure!!
Her widowed mother URGENTLY needs funds for medicine and saline solution. This will help replenish the fluids and vitamins that her tiny body needs to survive.
Every moment that Ayla remains sick, she gets closer and closer to kidney failure. She urgently needs your support to survive!!

[DM FOR READY-TO-POST PICTURES & WORDS FOR HAMMAD’S CAMPAIGN SO ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS HIT POST]
Hammad is one out of 9 members of his family. He is the eldest boy and the sole provider of his family at the young age of 24 since his father has been battling heart disease, and consequently suffered a debilitating heart attack.
[TW: Close by sounds of heavy artillery shelling and bombing.]
Months ago, at the start of the war, the neighborhood that Hammad and his family grew up in, where they created and held so many cherished memories and bonds, was besieged.
For days, Hammad and his family were trapped, terrified, between the once stable, now crumbling, walls of his home that once brought comfort and privacy to him now threatened to crush him beneath the rubble and the violent shelling of bullets and bombs whistling past their ears through the air and decimating anything it came in contact with.
His family sat, hungry, terrified, praying to live, watching the sun make its rounds past the plumes of black smoke rising from crumpled homes that once lined their block. This is only a fraction of what Hammad has been forced to endure for the over 550 days.
He watched his beautiful home be destroyed — the memories of his childhood, destroyed; the hard work he and his family put into creating their home, destroyed; the pride he and his family had of their home, destroyed; comfort and security, destroyed.
So Hammad pitched a tent. In the face of exposure to harsh elements, forced conditions of unsanitary environments where disease and sickness spreads rapidly, and deprived of the most basic necessities with skyrocketing costs for flour, clothes, and shelter, Hammad persevered to keep his family alive and as safe as he could. He cared for his father as best he could, but his heart disease requires an operation that none of the besieged or otherwise destroyed hospitals of Gaza can do.
Faced with extreme hunger, thirst, displacement, and now the tent burnt down leading to more exposure to the harsh elements, Hammad’s father’s condition has only worsened. The resilience and strength Hammad has constantly and consistently shown only goes so far in the face of the lifeblood of his family suffering under such dire conditions, and I cannot bear for Hammad to have to endure the heartbreak of losing his father.
Chuffed has a waiting period for processing and transferring funds. If you want your donation to IMMEDIATELY be sent to Hammad, paypal is linked below.
My friend Safaa @sfaamq10 has allowed me to share her story, I ask that you please take a moment to read it, share, and donate if you can. 💖
Safaa is studying to be a lawyer and is mother to baby Amir. Since the bombardment began, her husband Mohammed has lost his job at the university and thus their livelihood. Safaa’s father has suffered a stroke and her mother-in-law suffers from inadequately treated diabetes.
This family has lost everything; they have been forced by the occupation to live in a tent, not knowing where their next meal will come from, the water is not safe, and the approaching winter compounds these problems.
Safaa is raising money to get her family out of Gaza so they can continue living and pursue their dreams. Every donation counts, a small donation can help get pampers and milk for Amir or feed the family. As of writing, Safaa is 48% towards their goal. Please share and donate anything to allow this family to live in dignity, thank you 💖
[The Israeli burning of olive-tree groves] is familiar to thousands of Palestinian families. In the name of security, Israel systematically removes them from the land and erases their historic rootedness to this geographic place. For Palestinians, food and agriculture are not merely a pastime; they are a way of life. Without it, they’re rendered powerless economically, voiceless politically and devoid of their own cultural legacy. Yet that’s exactly why a sovereign and self-supporting food system is an early target of the Israel.
The Israeli occupation has transformed the Palestinian food system, converting it from a producer society to a consumer society, according to multiple West Bank residents. A tangled web of laws makes it difficult to sell crops or products like tahini for prices high enough to function as a sustainable income, and settlements continue to encroach upon Palestinian villages, seizing arable land and restricting access to crucial natural resources like water. Food is the first frontier of this conflict, and the Palestinian right to produce, sell and eat local food is a barometer for the future viability of the resistance movement.
[...] [In 1994, Israel and Palestine] signed the Paris Protocol to regulate economic interaction. The agreement hamstrung any hopes at Palestinian economic development, all but guaranteeing it would become dependent on Israel. It gave Israel full control of borders and put the sole customs clearinghouse under its jurisdiction. Goods entering and exiting Palestine remain subjected to Israeli taxes. Palestinian exports are heavily taxed while Israeli goods enter Palestine freely. Israeli goods, especially produce and food-related products like tahini and olive oil, flood the market with alternatives cheaper than local options.
What’s transpired as a result is the dramatic transformation of Palestine, says Raya Ziada, who founded an acroecology nonprofit based in Ramallah. “We depend on other people, whether that’s Israel or international aid, and we have to follow other people’s direction on producing food.”
Raya and others argue this is a deliberate act by the Israelis to handicap opposition to the occupation.
—Carly Graf, "Food Is the First Frontier of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict," 2019.
After the recent b*ombing of the neighboring tower, we were forced to relocate for the eleventh time from the place we had been seeking refuge. Sadly, we no longer have a home and are constantly searching for a safe spot to shelter from the ongoing bombardments.
In the past few days, my three-month-old son Khaled’s condition has worsened significantly. He developed severe chest allergies from inhaling dust and ro*cket smoke, accompanied by a high fever. We couldn’t find a hospital to provide the necessary care, so we had to go to a private doctor, which cost us a substantial amount of money that we barely have.
The doctor recommended four nebulization sessions daily to ease his condition, but providing these sessions has been nearly impossible due to the power outages. We’ve relied on kind people with solar panels who allowed us to use their nebulizer, but securing nighttime doses has been a challenge. We’ve had to reduce the number of sessions despite their critical importance to Khaled's well-being.
As for me, I have developed severe allergies and cannot find appropriate treatment. The pain worsens daily, especially with the rising temperatures. Each day becomes increasingly difficult and dan*gerous. I live in constant worry for my son, fearing the worsening of his condition amid this severe shortage of treatment and care.
