Sick S/O

I’ve posted on another site about this before, but I have read a lot of fan fictions where Italy (Hetalia) has been really worried that his S/O will die because of being sick, and I head cannon that it’s because of the Black Death. The Black death was a plague in the middle ages, some spectators say it could have been the bubonic plague, but there is varying evidence to support that, and Italy was hit quite bad. I mean, a lot of places were hit bad, but some places in Italy were estimated to have lost half to two thirds of their entire populations. So, Italy probably always takes being sick very seriously, and intentional or not, I really appreciate it when I see it in fan fictions.

My sweet sweet brother, Marc Edward Wilmore, passed away last night while battling COVID and other conditions that have had him in pain for many years. My brother was the kindest, gentlest, funniest, lion of an angel I’ve ever known. I love you little brother.
