As An Indigenous Person, Every Time A White Trans Person Talks About Their “genocide” I’m Gonna

As an indigenous person, every time a white trans person talks about their “genocide” I’m gonna just start posting facts about an actual genocide that happened in America.

that post is really upsetting me.

i loved my wife when she was identifying as trans, and i also love her now that she isn’t. some of my closest friends are butch lesbians who went through with some degree of medical transition and then made the choice to pull back for various reasons. they detransitioned and every single one of them is still gender non conforming and still cares deeply about their trans friends.

the idea that all detrans women are reactionary grifters is so misogynistic, homophobic, and insidious. yet another way the trans movement ostracizes ftm people and silences their voices. by fucking villainizing them. all while refusing to hold any mtf abuser or grifter accountable. unreal.

and the messages my wife and my detrans friends on here have to deal with every week … people fetishizing their detransition, speculating “you’re probably balding now” (because the worst thing a woman can be is ugly, of course), telling them “you’ll go back” and saying “death before detransition”. it hurts me so bad to see lesbian women being treated like criminals for the “crime” of trying to cope with their sexuality and their dysphoria in a lesbophobic society. why is it impossible to show these women empathy? they’re not the fucking enemy! remember who the real enemy is!

Really tired of people on this hellsite acting like being gay comes with political obligations

Homosexuality is apolitical. Sexuality doesn’t come with a set of beliefs or rules.

Gay people belong to a diverse array of beliefs, religions, and communities and yes that includes ones you disagree with or dislike.

Stop saying shit like “terfs can’t be lesbians” “so and so isn’t allowed to be a lesbian because of xyz” “he’s not actually gay because he is of a/b political group”

It makes it clear you think being gay is a choice and that it comes with a set of rules you need to follow to be ‘validated’.

Gay people are gay even if you don’t like them. Shut up.

Does anyone else think it’s weird that basic female names are insults now. Like it started with Karen but it’s bled into nearly all female names. When someone is talking about a fictitious generalization of annoyances they experience and they attach a female name as a joke. Like I saw a post recently that said something to the effect of “I hate when old people go on long rambles when I’m just trying to do my job. I’m not your therapist Janet” I agree with your point here but why are we attaching a female name to this for no reason. What about the name being female makes it inherently evil. Is it because it’s commonly associated with older women? Why isn’t there a male equivalent to “Karen”?

My friend recently said she doesn’t like the vitriol toward the name Karen because all Karens she has met were nice. Then she threw out a couple other generic female names she thought were much eviler and asked my opinion. I told her my opinion was that I don’t attach morality to names just because they’re names usually given to female babies.

you know threating violence against women is still misogyny? right? even when it's against women you hate? you know when you say shit like "i wanna drag terfs out of the bathroom by the hair and curb stomp them" or "i hope republican women get raped and/or have an unwanted pregnancy so they can face the consequences of their actions" you're threating violence against specifically against women? and that's misogyny? you know that right?? right?? right??????

I know what's meant here, but I feel like men get away with their abuse and manipulation too often by tricking women into just believing that they're stupid. If they're stupid, they're not doing anything bad maliciously, they're just too stupid to know any better. Instead, it's a deliberately manipulative tactic by straight men to target vulnerable women and shield themselves from criticism or call outs.

Straight men will lie to TIFs' faces and tell them that they see them as men, all to get them into bed, then abandon them and laugh at them later.

Falsely claiming bisexuality also cements them as more believable "progressive allies," because suddenly, they're oppressed, too.

They can then push into LGB spaces, harass bisexual women and lesbians, and then get bisexuals in general blamed for their predatory, straight male behaviour.

If none of that works out, or someone sees through the bullshit, they drop the bisexual and then claim the nebulous queer instead, and any criticism is then immediately classed as homophobic, so there's no accountability at all.

If you’re ever feeling insecure about your intelligence just remember there are males out there who call themselves bisexual because they’re attracted to females and trans-identified females

That is every single TIM (and lesser amounts of TIFs) that demands access to spaces, all the way down to demanding their choice of pronouns.

It's all very well and good being "kind" or thinking "I'll be respectful if that person's respectful," but at the end of the day, if they're AGPs (or the rarer female equivalent), what they're doing is forcing you to become part of their fetish play. Later, when alone, they'll revisit the sound of your voice, or they'll screenshot the image of your text, and masturbate to the memory of it, because they made you play along.

It's not only the fetish of being seen as a woman for those AGPs - it's also an exhibitionism fetish. Strangers being forced to play along into their fantasies are another layer of this.

There's a reason that it's marketed as "gender euphoria" instead of a cleaner, more sterile idea of "when I'm referred to as the pronouns I feel, I don't hurt the way I normally do." It's a state of pleasure. Whether it's the literal pleasure of playing a part, or the pleasure of having such control over others to the point that they deny science and their own eyes, it doesn't matter.

It's not just misogyny. It's sexual harassment and abuse.
