Under The Bridge

This is the final Generation Gap comic strip as the hawaii_herald is folding up publication. I'm taking a break due to managing numerous events and projects. Instead of "Sayonara," my farewell greeting is now "Arigatoo Gozaimasu." I'm grateful to the Hawaii Herald and Hawaii Hochi for hosting my comic strip for over 20 years. Thanks to all my fans and readers who enjoyed my comic strip.

February has been crazy! I want to thank @usagi.goya for organizing and coordinating the Usagi Yojimbo Dojo 40th Anniversary Tribute book of Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo. It features amazing pieces from talented artists, including two of mine. The idea sparked while I was at Dragon’s Lair, LLC, where Lucas had the huge G.I. Joe omnibus on the counter. Keep smiling and stay safe! 😊

A few of us are already heading to the airport, and we’ll be running around Kauai soon! 😊 Tomorrow on 6/08/24, the @kauaicomiccon is taking place! I’ll be at Artist Alley table #33. I’ll also be one of the judges for the Night Darling Cosplay contest from 3-4p (kids) and 4-5p (adults). After that, Drew Gutierrez and I will be doing the ART IMPROV from 5-5:45p. Many artists and vendors are flying in for the day to help with the celebration! Hope to see you there! ^_^

Happy New Year! 2012 is the Year of the Dragon, or Tatsudoshi in Japanese. Although the Lunar Year usually begins in February, this year it begins on January 23. Come to our shop and see what we have to celebrate this special year.

The Boops Are Back!!

Aloha, all! Just an update: I removed my 4x6" sketches from the site as many have sold. From 8/25-8/31, all sales from my online store and 4x6" sketches were donated to the Maui Mutual Aid Fund. I'm happy to report that $1,312.36 was donated! Thank you all for your support! I will be mailing out everything later today! :)
