to be honest, as a bisexual woman i'm actually so tired of seeing tha tras use bisexuality as the dumpsterfire of a sexuality where we'll just take anything and everything, and that we're slutty and have absolutely no standards. because when i'm dating someone i lose all attraction to both sex's and only feel pure and complete devotion to my partner.
'transgender people and bisexual people are MADE for each other' no. no we are fucking not. just because we're attracted to both sexes does that mean we'll date everyone and everything. fuck you. please learn to love yourself.
One person was banned almost immediately.
The other person was not banned until they made another post revealing that they were posting videos of their partner.
One person was harassed and bullied and told that they were lying.
One person was given advice, told about how they could improve their situation.
This is why kink is not safe. There is more compassion and kindness for someone who admits to wanting to kick their partner in the face than there is for someone who has received that treatment.
why are there. men outside. on the loose. just casually walking. what is wrong with this world. you can't go on a peaceful walk cause you will always see a man somewhere. this is so wrong. this is wrong on so many levels. please keep them inside.
I was watching a youtube video of a trial in the US: a young man who killed his father because he'd been raping him ever since he was 6. He got sentenced to life in prison because either the jury didn't believe him or they didn't believe he'd acted in self defence, whatever. I watched him cry as he was being questioned by the lawyers about what he'd endured and I genuinely felt bad for him. I believed him and was moved by his pain. I checked the comments and everybody was being supportive and saying he should be freed, but there were also dozens of comments with thousands of upvotes saying: "if he'd been a girl he would be free right now", "people never believe men", "this is why men don't come forward" and "if he was a girl it would be a whole different story." Men and women, repeating the same thing over and over again, like some rehearsed performance: women are believed more than men and they get a free pass for murder. Basically, that the justice system favours women and hastily punishes those accused of rape. Which is a blatant lie. So why do people believe it? Why do they feel the need to say it every time a man is abused? My empathy for the guy slowly vanished as I remembered that a man would never feel the same way about a woman and that men literally use other men's pain to oppress women further. There's an underlying message with it too: that men rape women so frequently that everyone believes it, which is a privilege. Female privilege. Women and girls are privileged for being assaulted so frequently that it can't be denied. And yet it is.
I looked at the corner of my youtube screen and saw the next recommended video: "Camille Vasquez's Cross of Amber Heard." In the video, Amber Heard cries much like the man I was watching just before, about being raped. The top comments all call her a liar, an evil psychopath, a bad actress and a woman who tried to ruin a man's life with false rape accusations. They're all laughing at her. You really can't make this shit up.
i feel like another reason why liberal feminism became useless was because any woman who criticized the misogyny from non-white cultures/people was labeled a racist, and you know liberals are terrified of being labeled as racist so a lot of liberal feminists stopped talking about the oppression that affects mostly black and brown women
Okay tbh.
Even when I was a TRA, I felt a bit stupid when Iβd say βtrans womenβ experienced worse oppression than βtrans menβ.
Because a part of me believed in sex-based oppression, but I couldnβt say that without being called a terf. So I just didnβt question it. But now Iβm questioning it becauseβ¦ how is it that someone who was born male, was treated better for being male, and was afforded more privileges for being male can say, βIβm a woman teehee!β and all of that male privilege is just gone?
And how a female can be treated as lesser than and experience medical discrimination on the basis of her female sex, but they call themselves a man and woosh! All of the misogyny theyβve faced is gone!
βErm well it is because trans women are women and trans men are men, so women are treated worse than men! Erm achshually this is feminism 101!β
But a woman isnβt treated horribly for saying sheβs a woman. A woman is treated horribly because her sex is female. Trans men are female and therefore they experience misogyny. Trans women are male and donβt experience misogyny (unless you βcountβ the misdirected misogyny when someone falsely assumes a TiM is a female, which is, as I said, misdirected and not an example of them actually experiencing misogyny).
So, if weβre comparing the oppression of trans men (TiFs) and trans women (TiMs)β¦ I believe females are oppressed while males are not (on the basis of sex). So even if youβre still a TRAβ¦ it doesnβt make sense to deny reality and claim trans βwomenβ have it sooo much worse than trans βmenβ because doing so would be denying sex-based oppression. And denying sex-based oppression is denying history.
Yβall get me?
I marvel at how much vitriol TIMs and trans activists have for TERFs that is never shown towards conservative males. TERFs typically don't care about what trans-identified people do as long as TIMs are not coming into women and girls' spaces, whereas a lot of conservative males would be happy to see them dead or stripped of every one of their most basic human rights. But I don't see them carrying signs saying "kill all conservatives," "kill all cis men," or anything close to the vile crap they reserve for us. They're such cowards.
