Replaying psychonauts 1 and oh my god coach oleander character is so fucking funny be fr
I remember when I first met him i thought how he would be a cool mentor and father figure who just shows tough love and was really a nice soldier BUT HE'S NOT!!! HES NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ANY OF THAT!!!
HOW DID THE PSYCHONAUTS ALLOW HIM TO GET THERE DO THEY EVEN KNOW HE LIES ABOUT HIS WHOLE SARGEANT PERSONA????????? LIKE SHOULDN'T THEY KNOW???? YOU CAN ENTER PEOPLE'S MIND WHAT DO YOU MEAN SASHA AND MILLA ABSOLUTELY DONT KNOW HE'S NOT ACTUALLY A RENOWNED SOLDIER BUT JUST PLAY ALONG LIKE "sure grandpa lets get you to bed"
James doesn't know that they're retiring from the anime yet
This scene causes me physical pain, it was an important lesson for Raz to learn not to mess with somebody else’s mind but good lord Raz is gonna be up at 3 AM thinking about this
WIP. Raz getting bullied and having his family make horrible remarks at him all the while dissapointing Milla and Sasha for the casino incident really hit hard for me, due to me being in a similar situation to my youth. The depiction of bullying in Psychonauts 2 is both accurate and terrible at the same time, with the bullying itself being realistic, but the bullies themselves never receiving repercussions for their actions. When Razputin is peered pressured into changing Hollis’ mind, he is rightfully repremanded, but the interns get away with it and learn nothing. His family is understandably upset he ran away, but they’ve also branded him a traitor. And he realized that his hero, Ford Cruller, singlehandedly rewrote his family history (for somewhat understandable reasons), but still. If Double Fine ever revisits Psychonauts, I really hope they show how Raz is 9999% NOT okay.
He is most definitely not okay
Pyra, Pyromaniac Heroine! Original Character by me!
Physical and Feral
I love @incorrectpsychonautsquotes
