little smtg I drew for today because happy birthday lotf <3
every like 5 years or so i go into a frenzy and have to draw them again. sorry everyone
a couple jack outfits. the left one is a post island thing (he’s sooo happy and well adjusted, trust!)
disclaimer: blah blah blah you can have your own interpretation yadda yadda whatever
i’d also like to add that i feel like people have this weird idea of making the his paint (and other aspects of LoTF in general) look aesthetic pleasing. his facepaint is supposed to look like a mask that covers his Whooooole face. It’s supposed to look weird, and messy, and kinda ugly? Because 1) it helps them blend in with their environment and 2) in my opinion, the mask is supposed to show how they put on these new, hunting, wild personas and leave their inhibitions and old life behind the paint. it’s why Jack leaves his facepaint on for most of the book, he’s done being some choir boy and is finally ready to be a “ruthless killer”.
BREAKING MY SILENCE.
YESSS I DIDNT EVEN THINK ABOUT THAT
can’t wait for the graphic novel to come out so everyone can have a new pfp 💗💗
“He shot forward, burst the thicket, was in the open, screaming, snarling, bloody. He swung the stake and the savage tumbled over; but there were others coming toward him, crying out.”
based off a panel from the upcoming lotf comic ^_^
my lotf sona
i’m gonna try and post more LoTF content. it’s an interest book with interesting characters and life thought about getting back into it. In the meantime, here’s my lotf sona!
my idea for a post island jack. i like to think he kept the long hair, even after he was rescued.
