For some reason, Zero is the most huggable for me (after all, Newton’ve brutally shuttered Zero’s dreams when he’ve deleted the Megarig Project files, so I want to comfort this poor guy), and, for some very strange reason, Hunter J (highly probable, that the real reason for this is her cool personality and awesome assault ship).
Ok since last time almost everyone focused on the bosses, let’s go a bit different. Huggability rating, movie baddies.
About staff - maybe, Flying Palace is fully automated and have robots for all the sorts of maintance work, so no human staff required, and in the movie outer parts of Palace central structure are simply circular. And shield-like structures may be anti-gravity modules (they look pretty hi-tech on close-up, when Ash and Co sprints downwards on the one of them).
The Hikoukyuu is really really weird. It looks like the floors are giant spirals, or at least have giant spiral staircases going along the outsides of them, and over to the side there’s some sort of garden? I’d imagine that limits the amount of times he has to land, but that would also mean that he’d have to retain a constant staff or do all the work himself, and I can’t see either of those happening (temporary staff seems the most likely idea given his personality). And those weird shields just…what are they? Sun shields?
also apparently the propellers were Jirarudan’s idea, to fit his aesthetics. Which makes me wonder what the original design would have been.

In month from now, the Auditor from Imperial Palace will come, to inspect our Facility. According to some of the rumors about him I’ve heard, he is quite a pricky bastard. Hope we find some ways to teach him a lesson!

Arcane Science Division has accidentally created crystal with very strange and anomalous properties, namely - ability to create such a perfect illusions, that they can become reality to whoever sees them. However, this is still in theory, since the most it can do now is create illusions of simple geometric shapes with 256 colors for them available. They need much more computational power and precision electrodes before this effect can be achieved (and, for what it looks like, cooperate with Chemistry and Production Divisions to grow a brand new crystal, since this one is impure and irregular as flak). Still, seeing porn through device like this...

Worked in the Surface Complex again, helping Bioscience and transportation. Met someone, named Yevgeniy Goncharenko. Nice peep, actually. I’m kinda surprised in his interest in Lati, but, I think, it’s nothing out of order.
EDIT: Apparently, he was the best student of the Director back in the Capital Bioscientific University. So, ‘guess I’ve just made a very good connection.

Those Flygons are really cute. I’ve never thought I’d say something like that, but I legitly think, that those Dragon/Bugs are cute. How is it even possible. What has become of me?

Airship left today. One of the young Vibravas, who tried to mimic the older relatives, tried to also “escort” it to the edge of our Facility’s airspace, but almost got caught into the propellers. Thankfully, one of the Flygons saved it before any damage was done.

Arcanists cooperated with Chemistry and Production Divisions to grow a brand-new crystal, hook it up into their supercomputer and then test-prank people with it. I was quite shocked, seeing my laptop turn into the old one. Those illusions are really realistic beyond any imagination. I think I’ll help them in preparations for the Auditors visit. Good thing my porn stash is in the nice condition! He is gonna be so surprised...

A week ago I’ve had a weirdest dream so far. This time, it wasn’t so random, so I can somewhat diverge between two plotlines of it - “Deus Ex” line and “Pokemon” line, altough there were some intersections. There is nothing really special about a Deus Ex line (aside from the part that Gunther likes to sleep in a thick socks, what I’ve learned from his computer and which I’ve found in his hightstand), but it left overall impression that it was somehow tied to the Pokemon world through conspiracies and stuff (which was confirmed later).
The real fun begins when we get to the Pokemon line. First of all, there was a moment, when some N/Cilan-like guy was introducing himself to the protagonists somewhere near the ruins with game-trailer like overall feel. The guy himself wasn’t interesting but the place, when he was doing it, was, because this ruins were actually Hikōkyū’s wreck! What is even more interesting, that control tower and main body were mostly left intact, but one of the rings was gone as were the antigravs (though theirs remnants might’ve just got buried under the ground - Flying Palace was lying almost on side).
The second best moment was like an a “fly-around” shot in the movies, but now camera was flying between the rings of an airship, which could be easily called “Hikōkyū 2”. Why 2? Because it had a different sets of a propellers, some of the horizontal-propulsion props were also installed on the rings (unlike original, where all of them were mounted only on a main body of the ship), vertical-propulsion props were installed on the very short spindles and some of the additional propellers were gathered in the tight clusters. During the camera’s passing, all of the props were working hard, so, it left an impression that the Lawrence III (of course) was going to do something special, although not necessary linked to the Legendaries or Pokemon altogether.
The final moment was me (as an Adam Jensen), someone other and a Pokemon Trainer (protagonist from this dream game) inside a huge room, which was pretty similar to the Flying Palace’s (first one) exhibition hall, although far smaller. My impression (and an Adam’s map) confirmed, that this room was, in fact, one of the “Hikōkyū 2” rooms, and it was on one of the lower floors/decks. Our small team started to move out in hope of meeting Lawrence III and asking him some questions (Adam - about Illuminati and such, Trainer - don’t know, but definitely not something like Misty asked - overall, it felt like he wanted to get a few tips from the Collector, third person - no data) and, at this very moment, I awoke.
Well, some time ago I’ve found a theory, that Pokemon GO and Ingress are linked and a Pokemon GO was released after the Niantic Labs messed up with portal network again, creating a Pokemon outbreak in our world, as an emergency measure (just like the Ingress itself was released to control XM spreadage). Professor Willow is one of the few people from the Pokemon World who’ve managed to contact Niantic Labs, and that's why there are so many "server issues" - interworld connections aren’t easy and cheap to establish and maintain! That means, that when we transfer caught Pokemon to Professor, we actually transfer them back into Pokemon World. By the way, there's even a russian fanfic about that, called "В сети порталов" ("In the portal network"), which you can read here - https://ficbook.net/readfic/4548994 .
i want to believe that when you transfer a Pokémon in GO, they go to a peaceful, beautiful paradise.
Corporations relationships with most of the non-corporate governments are... far from the best, to say at least.
The most hated for them is the Official World State, more known as Pokemon Nation. For corporates, it’s embodiment of everything they hate: ignorance, which allows such criminal syndicates as Team Rocket or even Team Flare to grow and prospere (of course, corps had involvement in the Cipher’s Shadow Project, but they do this very rarely); lack of guts, which allows Legendaries rampages to happen (General Industries isn’t above blackmailing and recruiting Jeanette McMertry, more known as Hunter J, to fight such threat if required - her petrifier cannon is a wonderful thing, though it’s yet to be replicated and mass-produced. Yes, corps had blackmailed and recruited Hunter J, even if less powerful, than in canon, because of time period difference) and, most importantly, heavily Pokemon-dependant society, especially technology. For corps, any technology to be used by humans must be self-sustained and reliable, even if the Pokemon-based devices are easier to produce, or it’s “just a parody of the true technology”.
As you can guess, relationship with Azoth Kingdom isn’t good either. While corporates respect heavy automation of this city, they dislike technological stagnation (corporate “pure-tech” devices are already somewhat ahead of the AK’s arcane science-based ones and continue to advance further, while Azoth Kingdom is now only slightly more advanced than in the Nikola’s times) and Pokemon involvement in the city’s machinery operation. They are also main competitors on the airship and gravplane markets, which were traditionally occupied by the Kingdom, but, thanks to both real Lawrence III and protagonist, as well as many other corporate scientists, General Industries is slowly, but surely starts to overtake these markets, because corporate machines are cheaper, more advanced and can offer more options for the same price. Of course, it’s not going to end well for the AK, if they don’t adapt.
The (fic-unique) Soris Region, while still nominally controlled by the Pokemon Nation / Official World State, is under very heavy influence of the Tunguska Technologies and has lots of TT-owned corporate Enclaves. It also shall be noted that people here love Soris Flygons very much, going up to the point, where it’s far easier to get Pokemon Owner license for these cute, but powerful insect-dragons and their entire evo-line than for the, let us say, Pichu and it’s evo-line. It helps that Soris Flygons, unlike Hoenn relatives and much like Alolan ancestors, are very cooperative towards humans and are more intelligent than most of the dragon pokemon, because Soris is quite a harsh region, where survival requieres either sheer power or sharp minds. Alolan Flygons, which were introduced in the Soris region more than 3000 years ago by the Ancient Soris Empire, lacked in the raw power, but made up with this by their minds and cooperation with humans. Nowadays, their adapted offspring, Soris Flygons, are one of the most successful species in the Soris, but they still retain their cooperativeness and gentle nature towards humans.
GI does not have such influence over a single region, but they make up for this by having many Enclaves in different regions.
While corporates are pretty heavy into military, they also deeply care for the employees, because, as they say, “it’s the best way to prove that we are far better than the Official State!”. Everyone who is empoyed by either of the corporations receives good free healthcare and overall treatment. They have flexible social care programs, as well as job finding. Have willingly terminated your contract with one of the branches to transfer into another? No problem, your shares remain at the previous level, if you don’t screw up badly before, during or after transfer! Want to help employ your relatives? A little testing and they will be presented with a most suitable jobs for them!
Overall, life in corporate Enclaves is, most of times, better, than in the Official State-governed cities, but it comes at price of working for corporation or, at least, living with one who works for it, pretty strict rules, zero criminal Team tolerance (if you are proven to work for one of the Teams at the current moment, your contract is immideately terminated with blacklisting your biological ID, making you persona non-grata in all of the corporate-owned property. However, if you willingly surrender, you make soften your punishment), prohibition of Pokemon battles anywhere but specialized Training Complexes and, to make you feel “better”, some of other moments, which make Enclaves pretty similar to the Soviet “closed cities”, albeit with (relatively) free information access, which is, however, monitored by the Enclave’s main computer system to prevent essential data from slipping into the wrong hands. Yes, not quite paradise, but still something.

Robocraft. Building the various robots, driving them as if they were my own body and fighting would be pretty cool, especially with ability to easily regenerate them anywhere but some of the Brawls, and even if they are destroyed, I’ll either respawn or teleport back to the my own mothership. Not too bad, I guess.
The only way to log out is to beat the game. And if you die in the game you die for real.
Robocraft again. Mothership with powerful EMP cannon and lots of combat robots with plasma launchers, subatomic machine guns, rail cannons, ion shotguns, Lock-On Missile Launchers, Aeroflak cannons (shells are detonated by the electron density trigger, no less!), chain rotary cannons, Tesla blades, blink modules, weapon energy modules, Ghost (invisibility) modules, EMP modules (to designate targets for Mothership’s EMP cannon), impenetrable 5-second disc sield projection modules, all-seeing radar modules (Windowmaker) and so on... I think I’m pretty dope.
Several weeks ago, I’ve had another weird dream. Again, it was more-or-less random, though this time it was kinda “justified” by me loading “saves” in it. Among many scenes, which include flying helicopter in Airstrike 3D-like dream game, dealing with someone in warehouse on the second “playthrough” (I knew this time warehouse will be flooded, so I’ve took diver goggles. Don’t ask, it makes sense in context) and such, but there was one even weirder moment.
After loading one of the “saves”, I’ve found myself in some sort of clinic with eqiupment looking like it was from... later 80′s I think. In one of the rooms, there was an old man, who was giggling and such and looked like a little loony. On the table near his bed, there were several albums with rough drafts and blueprints. When I’ve took one of the albums, I’ve found it was mostly filled with my own drawings (and I’m pretty bad in it. Like, really bad.), but among them, there were this man’s drafts and even sort of blueprints for, guess who? Magearna! Even more, this man, for some reason, was calling her “quartz grandma”. Сould it be Nikola, who was somehow sent back in time into the Ancient Soris Empire and had gone crazy? Who knows.
Hey
I really hate to do this yet again, but someone close to me was exposed to COVID-19, meaning I can’t go to work until we’re sure they’re clean. So I’m once again opening $20 full body/flatcolor to make up for missing work. Feel free to look through the Commission tag for recent examples. I need six to make up for today’s lost pay, but I will gladly take as many as I can. I would really appreciate it if you considered one.
