If the Marauder’s were born anytime in the 2000’s I’m only certain of one thing. Remus would force all of them into watching Nativity.

To him it’s a sacred muggle culture, and during the Christmas of 1st year after James begged all of the Marauders parents for a sleepover on the eve Remus made his da shrink down the TV and DVD player.

Then he set it all up. James was buzzing, Sirius was confused as all fuck, and Peter was honestly just there for the vibes.

After that year watching Nativity absolutely became a Marauders tradition. James and Sirius begin preforming musical numbers from the film the second it hit’s December, James is convinced Lily Evans is his Jen.

Overall, chaos. Remus has no regrets.

BUT LITERALLY. All it takes is five minutes to have the most basic of understandings about what’s offensive and what isn’t.

If I see one more person villainise a mental illness for their favourite character’s ‘cute quirky’ head canons I’m gonna beat their ass. Jump through the screen and start biting and scratching like a rabid animal.

I know it’s hypocritical coming from me because I’m literally a shut in too sickly and too anxious to leave my house alone, BUT GODDDDD, STOP BEING SO CHRONICALLY ONLINE.

If you think a character you like has a mental illness? Do research, don’t make them a harmful stereotype, don’t make it their entire personality because people aren’t their mental illnesses. It’s so simple to do, yet from what I’ve heard and seen no one is taking basically five minutes out of their lives to do it.

All it takes is one reliable medical website. And no one is bothering. I’m going to maul you all and give you rabies, LORD HELP ME I WILL.
