Just had my first game as a GM in lancer, it was a lot of fun actually getting everything to work. My group started in medias res fighting pirates that are trying to steal a ship that can make a whole planet habitable. The pirates aren't the best at their jobs, but the party made up of primarily strikers are doing a really good job at obliterating them before anything happens lol. We have: a Caliban that wants to punch people hard and shove them harder, a Peregrine (will make a review on that one later for those interested) that's built with a big sword that it swings really fast as it rockets into the ground, and around 10 auxiliary hand cannons split between two Raleighs. Needless to say I need to either provide more enemies or make the main ones more tanky.

The character I'm currently playing in LANCER does this with her mech, and actually met the party because they woke her up while she was sleeping in the hangar.

Like any abusive authority figure, they want you to be smart enough to uphold their authority but not smart enough to challenge their authority.

A dragon who decides to hoard mint and various types of mint plants (and not knowing that mint has the mushroom’s blessing of inevitability were ever its planted) can go one of two ways.

1: The dragon is absolutely horrified as the mint engulfs and takes over its den. Its gold? Mint. Its gems and goblets? Mint. Its stores of wine? Mint. No matter what they do they can’t get rid of it.

2: The dragon is delightfully ecstatic as the mint engulfs and takes over its den. It’s a self growing hoard. No matter what any adventurers or knights do, they can’t get rid of it.

Today I was chatting with two guys and mentioned I was aroace. It went a little something like this.

A: wtf is that

B: it means she’s not attracted to people in that way

A: bro you can’t just not pick a side, that’s crazy

B: nah, it just means she’s spectator mode

A: OHHH IT MAKES SENSE NOW
