Tangled: Moon theory, revisited. (December 2018)

It’s been a while, and I have decided to redo a fan favourite, moon theory (original concept by @ghosta-r). I had already done a post analysing it back in the day (August), but looking back, I feel like it was a little to inconsistent, plus it was missing a few points. So, here is instead a full list and analysis of the season 1 evidence and a few season 2 seasonings here and there. Also, important note that this evidence has been gathered with the help of several amazing people from the fandom, which I’ll list in the credits. None of this would have been possible without their help. So the theory goes as such. Varian is to the moondrop what Rapunzel is to the sundrop. A vessel or person with the ability to truly use and command its power to his will. Sounds fairly far fetched at first glance. But how plausible is that theory? A lot more than you may think, actually, even as someone who supports it. old post

Some more Strive fanart I’ve been wanting to do. I’ve had the ‘constellation wings’ idea for a while now but haven’t thought of how to implement them until now. A lot of chromatic aberration and motion blur later, got me to these two results. Take them before I decide it needs more experimental tweaks.

Apparently its Eugene appreciation week​, so good time to finish this au I’ve been thinking about forever

Au where Eugene stumbles upon the tower when they’re both a lot younger. Eugene is only a little hoodlum at this point, just starting his Flynn Rider legacy, and Rapunzel is still a child with full faith in her mothers words and no teen antsy-ness. Despite befriending Eugene, she refuses to leave the tower, so instead he visits her when Gothel is away and he brings her little gifts he thinks she’d like (that he stole because he’s an urchin)
