After taking a hot shower and getting dressed for the day, I let Dodger out once more before I leave for the studio. This time of year is always busy; families coming in wanting photos done of their kids or the whole family for the holidays. I love this time of year and how happy everyone is. Plus, the holidays provide endless possibilities when it comes to the pictures. 

When I get to the studio, I head inside and unlock the door, flip the sign, and turn the lights on and get ready to get down to business. My assistant/receptionist Allie gets there about 15 minutes after I do. 

“I hope you’re full of coffee and perkiness, because we are going to be jam packed today, my girl.” I tell her. 

“Had a cappuccino at home and I have coffee in my trusty travel mug. I’m ready to go.” she says, laughing.

That’s Louis Rossman, a repair technician and YouTuber, who went viral recently for railing against Apple. Apple purposely charges a lot for repairs and you either have to pay up or buy a new device. Authors Note: so, despite missing a post last week, we’re back to weekly updates! Lots of fluff and some real protective!shawn. Also, huge thanks to @alittletoomuchshawn for helping me with some maaajor parts!

Summary: Shawn can’t seem to keep his fists to himself and one punch turns into five and what better way to be punished than for his dad to be his number one cockblocker.

Word Count: 2,407

Shawn’s never been one to get nervous. Never had the experience of sweaty palms and frantic butterflies in his stomach, or a dazed head and blushed cheeks. But all at once he’s experiencing them when her lips meet his. His mind is in a frenzy, body still as a rock and he can physically hear his heartbeat in his ears. He moves quickly, though. He cups her pretty little face in the palms of his hands and his eyes gently flutter closed. He’s losing himself in it, in her.

Her lips are sweet… plump and soft and Shawn can’t believe he’s kissing her. Lola threads her dainty fingers through his Godlike curls and gives them a generous little tug. He’s seeing stars, his lips are tingling. Lola subtly slides her warm tongue between his lips, the sudden boldness catching Shawn off guard and he pants slightly into her mouth. She tastes like cherries with a hint of peppermint and Shawn finds himself completely mesmerised by it.

Shawn’s hand sneaks its way to the back of her neck, slim fingers twirling her auburn locks and tugging ever so gently, but it only makes her more eager. She’s shifting to the very edge of the bed, fingernails scratching at the nape of his neck and he lets out a soft groan against her lips.

Lola pulls away, panting with what Shawn can only guess to be a dizzy smile and she purses her lips to bite back a soft laugh. “I’m sorry… I shouldn’t have done that, I’m sorry.” She giggles through her embarrassment and Shawn can feel the heat that rises to her cheeks.

He clears his throat, his forehead resting on hers and he nibbles on his bottom lip, savouring the taste of her that’s varnished him. “No, it’s… it’s okay.” He tries to assure her, though there’s a thick silence that sits on them as they continue to lean into each other. Shawn doesn’t know what the fuck he’s doing. This isn’t like him, he doesn’t do this kind of shit. But it’s her, it’s Lola and Shawn doesn’t want to pull away. He doesn’t want to feel the coldness of her body not being close enough.
