Hello, this is the bunny of TIGER & BUNNY, Barnaby’s VA, Morita Masakazu. 

Witnessing TIGER & BUNNY reach it’s 10th anniversary

Yes, it’s a bit of a shocker that it has been 10 years since taibani was released. I was 38 years old at the time, about to turn 39, and now that 10 years have passed I am 49 years old [caption: recorded in 2021]. Next year I will be 50 (laughs). That I can announce taibani season 2 to everyone during my mid life, this time that should be memorable to me, makes me happy. But the me that was acting back then and the me after 10 years, I think there are some areas that have changed and with that I hope that I am able to express that within my enthusiasm towards season 2 of taibani.

Being able to act Barnaby once again

The Barnaby now is, hmm, he is the Barnaby we have seen up until now but, from the image I got when acting him out is that I want to say that he’s changed a bit. When we were doing season 1, at the end he was becoming increasingly human-like, or he started to reek of human-ness*. This time in season 2, through much effort, it was entertaining to see Barnaby having a human-like conversation. But I had never acted that type of Barnaby before so I did think that those scenes were difficult to act.

Which character to focus on in Season 2

Well, of course there are characters other than I (Barnaby) to focus on. Obviously, the buddy we’ve continued to be partnered up with, Kotetsu-san, is one of them but there are also the characters we’ve been with for a while. There is Fire Nathan and Sky High, other members that you will get the chance of seeing a lot. Since it is season 2, well, I can’t say it but, of course there are characters we’ve never seen that will appear, I think they will definitely appear (laughs). So please make sure to, well I’m sure everyone will naturally look at them and of course I want you to focus on them, but there are many new changes concerning the existing characters so please (looks into the camera) check that out. Please.

Yes, to the Sternbild citizens of TIGER & BUNNY, thank you for waiting so long. It had taken 10 years. During these 10 years everyone cheered for this TIGER & BUNNY while in a state of loss, and despite being in a loss, I am grateful to everyone here during the 10 years of nothing. To respond to the drought everyone was experiencing, we finished TIGER & BUNNY 2, so I hope you will look forward to it. 

Other than that, yes, I want to think that Hirata’s interview was played before my interview, and Hirata was looking forward to experiencing this spring with the show’s broadcast, when he was talking about what he wanted to do this spring. For me, yes this spring, well, I know it is tough with this situation, but bit by bit as we return to normalcy, I definitely want to do lots and lots of events as TIGER & BUNNY, something like a national tour or the rowdy TIGER & BUNNY  night events we’ve had in the past. So while doing events like that, I would like to hope we can slowly start filling in the space between everyone and us with a bit of distance. 

And if we go through different prefectures during the event, I would like to go to a place with a hot spring. 10 years ago I was 38 years old, now I am 49 years old. Essentially, hot springs are beloved. They are beloved to me. To any towns with hot springs that are trying to promote themselves, please contact the information below [To all local municipalities that have a hot spring, Please contact Bandai Namco Pictures]. My Anime Top Ten

After really getting into anime this year, these top ten lists off of tumblr really helped me find new stuff to watch, so I thought I’d add my own :)

10. Assassination Classroom

The first season: Hilarious, heartwarming, an enjoyable ride. The second season: Pain. 

An incredible story. This anime had such a good ending and I loved it so much. Still could not name all of the characters if you put a gun to my head. 

9. Bungo (u?) Stray Dogs 

This show, man. Since I wasn’t familiar with Japanese literature I had no idea it was a theme of the show. That is, until these American authors started showing up and I was like- wait why is my 6th grade reading list a character in this anime? Cue me doing a lot of research into all the character’s names. 

8. Barakamon

The sweetness of the anime… the humor, the happy feelings that it gave me. The relationship dynamics between the characters were so wholesome and fulfilling. I am a sucker for feel-good shows. Any scraps of serotonin does wonders. 

7. Kamisama Kiss

Can we just talk Tomoe for a second? This romance got me man. I was in, hook, line, and sinker. Where is my fox familiar that serves my beck and call? I want one. Now. The adoration that occurs is so… I just… simply must pass away. 

6. Attack On Titan

What a story, my dudes. A beloved favorite of the times and for good reason. Would not recommend to children. Would not recommend to those who do not enjoy intense shows, or ones with violence. Would recommend to literally anyone else. You start it, and you’re like, okay I see where this is going, and then you’re like, oh. oh no I do not. 

5. My Roommate Is A Cat

I love cats. I love slice of life. I love dark haired, kinda messy characters. Boom. Checks all the boxes. If you like cats, watch this anime. If you don’t like cats, seriously, why? 

4. Sk8 The Infinity 

If you had told me when I started this anime that it would have been in my top 5 I would not have believed you, and yet… This anime is about skateboarding, but actually it is about the best relationships you have ever seen. The wholesome love between this found family. I would give my kidney for those gay skater boys. It is like a shot of serotonin right to the brain. 

3. Monthly Girl’s Nozaki Kun

I know I said that Kamisama Kiss is my favorite romance, and that’s because I don’t consider this show a romance. It is so unromance and that is the whole point. I laughed. So hard. Every single character is incredible and so fun to watch. My only complaint is how short it is. I want ALL THE EPISODES. 

2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

What is there to say that has not been said about this absolute masterpiece? It is a favorite for a reason, that reason being it is a fan-fucking-tastic show. Blob Alphonse is my favorite thing. 

1. HunterxHunter

I LOVE THIS SHOW. It has such good re-watchability and makes me so happy. Like I watch it and grin like a fool because I am enjoying myself so much. Just being able to feel unbridled joy in this hell scape of an existence is such a plus. I love this show. I love it I love it I love it.

honestly when it comes to ladynoir i kinda eat up preconceived notions. like whenever Chat tells Ladybug a story about himself, her brain comes up with something oh-so-totally different than if she imagined it for Adrien.

like if he mentions his room? she would NEVER in a million years think of the grandiose room Adrien has in the Agreste house in the context of Chat Noir. her brain would likely come up with a dimly lit, smaller-to-average size room, probably a little messy, absolutely teeming with anime posters on the walls and a desk with a big monitor and a silly gamer chair with cat ears. just absolutely screaming personality.

and when Ladybug lets slip that she works for her parents? Chat Noir, who has been an employee of the Gabriel company for pretty much his entire cognizant life, would never have his go-to guess be his Lady being a baker’s daughter. No, his brain weirdly enough goes straight for her doing office-type work for her parents, even though she’s 14 and this makes literally no sense lol. (but he’s been extorted by his parents for his entire life so is that really shocking)

she’s always imagined he’d have siblings, but has never been able to decide if she thinks he’s the youngest or oldest

he’s always been fairly convinced she’s pretty athletic in her real life, and probably plays some sports competitively

I just love love love the idea of them being so absolutely flabbergasted when they find out bc they had all these ideas in their head they thought were on the right track and end up being beyond incorrect.

Marinette especially has her brain oh so totally shattered bc the mental image of “civilian chat noir” was so absolute in her head that when it comes out to be reserved, clean-cut Adrien she’s just like ?!?!?!?!? blue screen
