Gonna hang onto this until Season 5...
If Ashley does end up with a stable superpower, I hope it’s super-hair like Medusa and Sindel.
Okay... but y'all, as dark as it was... CRWBY could have made it so much darker
They could have cut up and bruised Ruby's face after her Aura broke and she took all that physical abuse, especially with Ozpin brutally caning her like an abusive father or uncle
We could have heard squishing and crunching noises when Neo stomped on Little
They could have painfully, heartwrenchingly, drawn out Ruby's suicide with the poison making her jerk and choke and dribble bile in a disturbing parallel to IRL suicide by ODing or drinking bleach/antifreeze
They would have been forced to up the maturity rating if they did, so they didn't, but can you imagine...?
EDIT: And oh dear... how could I forget all the rape imagery around the Curious Cat standing on top of Ruby, penetrating and violating and dominating her in multiple meanings of those words at once. They could have made it so much worse by having the Cat purring, nuzzling, and licking Ruby as they brag about the act of being inside and a part of her, how much they will enjoy it...
I am not okay...
Okay but like...
It would still work?!
Like Scooby is a skinny drifter who who tours the country in his groovy van and pack of strays and rescues
He's not even a an actual *detective*, Mystery Machine just sounded like an groovy name for a place to trip and tune out maaan.
But he still has the *worst* luck bumming for gas and food in busted up places with costumed crazies terrorizing folk, and between his simple observations and bizarre thinking and the explorations of his unnaturally smart dogs they bust the case with hijinks
I wanted to draw Scooby doo humanized with hippie vibes, and the whole gang as dogs,, maybe I draw them more(?? 👀✨
WHAT SATURDAY MORNING CARTOON SUPERVILLAIN BULLSHIT IS THIS!?
"Three treasons shall you know...
Once for blood...
Once for love...
Once for gold...
And if these treasons were done to Robb, answering in kind to the treasons he himself committed, real or percieve... do they apply to the other would-be kings and queens of Westeros?
Adventure Time (with Sansa and Lemmy)
Huevember - Day 4.
Sansa is having a weird dream…
*ugly wheezing dying seal laughter*
Patton seems to agree ^^
"The trannies should be able to piss in whatever toilet they want and change their bodies however they want. Why is it my business if some chick has a dick or a guy has a pie? I'm not a trannie or a fag so I don't care, just give 'em the medicine they need."
"This is an LGBT safe space. Of COURSE I fully support individuals who identify as transgender and their right to self-determination! I just think that transitioning is a very serious choice and should be heavily regulated. And there could be a lot of harm in exposing cis children to such topics, so we should be really careful about when it is appropriate to mention trans issues or have too much trans visibility."
One of the above statements is Problematic and the other is slightly annoying. If we disagree on which is which then working together for a better future is going to get really fucking difficult.
All the love and respect to Dave McKean
The covers of the Sandman comics were always so orginal and captivating, being largely photographs of collage art pieces; will those play any part in the show, like as title cards, inspiration, or on camera recreations like Morpheus in the magic circle?
You know, lots of people think they were collaged, but they weren't. They were built...
Here are the covers to 1, 2 and 6 respectively.
And yes. If you keep an eye out in Burgess's mansion in Episode 1, you'll see a lot of the things on the shelves of the cover to #1 in display cases on his walls...
It legit ticked me off that Cleganebowl was a thing, especially how the show handled it. I'm a huge fan of redemption/closure arcs where the vile villain/edgy anti-hero does some major rethinking of their life after getting their ass thoroughly kicked, and using that revelation to either atone for their crimes or acknowledge there is no forgiveness for them and quietly leave those they have wronged alone.
Sandor getting brutalized and mutilated by Gregor while leaving the undead bastard untouched like a day after making his peace with the Stark sisters and surviving the Long Night is not the makings of a glorious narrative
There were shadows all around them. One shadow was dark as ash, with the terrible face of a hound. Another was armored like the sun, golden and beautiful. Over them both loomed a giant in armor made of stone, but when he opened his visor, there was nothing inside but darkness and thick black blood. (Bran, AGoT)
Here I think Robert Strong is looming over the Hound and Jaime, instead of Ned, Sansa and Arya. Maybe there's Cleganebowl coming and there's a chance Jaime will have to go through Robert Strong to reach Cersei.
Maybe! It's easier for me to believe there will be a fight between Jaime and dead!Gregor than the Hound and dead!Gregor.
Cleganebowl has always been a silly theory to me, anon. He's dead. He has no head. He's dead and headless. What is the point? Is it supposed to be a triumphant moment for Sandor Clegane? Finally vanquishing the evil brother?
The evil brother who is already dead, and has no head.
Please?
Sooooo Mickey 17 edit with The Fine Print when
