The Beginning part 21

“She’s what?” Jesse blinks at Hanzo as he holds their daughter.

“She’s deaf. She can’t hear a thing.” Hanzo sighs and plays with a bit of Kaaru’s hair.

“How do you know?” Jesse asks, sitting up too quickly and hissing in pain.

“Jesse relax. Angela ran all the proper tests on her. Kaaru is completely healthy. But she can’t hear.” Hanzo says, Kaaru getting fussy in his arms.

“How can I relax when ya just dropped that bombshell on me.” Jesse frowns.

“How can you not accept she’s deaf when you obviously believe she’s our daughter.” Hanzo points out looking stern at him. “Why can’t you just accept the fact that she’s a little different.” He frowns.

Jesse takes a deep breath and nods, looking ashamed.

“Okay, whatcha wanna do? We got options and-”

“And what?” Hanzo asks, rocking Kaaru.

“And what do you wanna do? We gotta decide on somethin.” Jesse says.

“I know ASL. I plan to teach her.” Hanzo puts it bluntly.

“Okay, then I’ll learn too. Soon as ‘m outta bed I’ll look for a class.” Jesse says, surprising Hanzo.

He looks for any sort of distruth in Jesse’s eyes before nodding and kissing Kaaru’s head, making her giggle happily.

He then hands her to Jesse and relaxes as they start to doze back to sleep until Kaaru whines and reaches for the bottle.

Hanzo chuckles and hands Jesse the bottle so he can feed her.

“Sweet princess.” Jesse chuckles as Kaaru drinks from the bottle, one of her tiny hands on the bottle.

“I am surprised I didn’t hear her fuss while I was out yesterday.” Hanzo yawns and leans on his husband.

“Ya grabbed the wrong one Darlin. Me an’ Kaaru could hear ya talkin outta this one.” Jesse chuckles as Kaaru finishes her bottle quickly.

“That explains it.” Hanzo snickers softly as he begins to doze off, Kaaru not far behind him.

Jesse smiles at the two and sets the empty bottle aside, beginning to hum to help Kaaru drift off with her parents until the sun rises.

Okay, I'm supposed to be on hiatus right now but in the last 72 hours I have gotten 30+ asks about why I ship Freddy and Bonnie instead of Monty and Bonnie. Some even began to threaten me.

I don't understand why you think that's okay but then are too much of a scaredy b*tch to not ask it unanonymous. If you're gonna threaten me, mean it. I've had too much of a shit life to take hollow internet threats at face value when the person saying it is too much of a little b*tch to make themselves know.

That being said, it doesn't stop me from blocking you so I'm going to let you see this post and then block you. All of you.

Furthermore, I do not find the appeal in shipping Bonnie with Monty. I will respect that people do but in my eyes they're just good friends. Besides, if any of the anons asking about this had actually read Blended with Love or any of my other books that aren't even in that series, Monty did not exist until after Bonnie and Freddy got married or is a brother to Bonnie. He's close to Bonnie but not in a romantic sense because I personally feel Monty would work better romantically with Sun/Moon/The Daycare Attendant(s).

I will not lie and say at first I wasn't excited to be getting asks about my preferences but after the first ten about the same thing, I felt disgusted that this is what I have to explain myself on and have to deal with stupid threats made by maidenless idiots.

The Beginning part 14

Genji jumps up happily and raises the baby above his head. 

“I’m an uncle!” He smiles at the baby who giggles at him. 

“How is this possible?” Angela asks herself aloud. 

“My machine may have brought her about. I-... I don’t remember what it was even supposed to do.” Winston says. 

“I don’t care how it happened. I have a niece!” Genji smiles.  

“Here, let me run a few more tests, and then we can take her to her parents.” Angela says, taking the laughing baby. 

The baby giggles and pats Angela’s face as she is taken to a testing room. 

Angela does basic tests and reruns a few of them, stumped by the results she’s given before going back to the main medbay. There she finds Reaper talking with Genji. 

“Ah, Angela, just the doctor I needed to see. I was worried about Jesse. Why is he not in here where you can keep an eye on- Is that a baby?” Reaper says.

“Yes. We found her in Winston’s lab during the evacuation.” She says as she gives the baby to Genji. “Who’s is it?” He asks, concerned for the infant. 

“Hanzo and Mccree’s.” She says, sitting at her desk. “You’re a grandfather.” She chuckles lightly at his face.

“How-? Actually, I don’t care!” Reaper smiles as the baby giggles at her uncle. 

“Want a chance to hold her?” Genji offers and Reaper takes her gently, curious about her galaxy hair. 

“Hey, there little one.” He coos at her, making Angela sigh. “What?” He asks her. 

“She’s deaf.” Angela says, looking at her hands clasped on her desk. 

Genji and Reaper are taken with shock as they look at the very happy baby in the arms of her grandfather. 

Winston hums at the news. 

“Do her parents know yet?” Reaper asks as he gives the baby back to Genji sadly. 

“They don’t know she’s even alive yet. Genji and I were planning to take her to them in a little while. If you wish to inform Morrison you may. He may want to meet her too before we take her to them. Hopefully, Hanzo will still be awake when we do.” She says. 

Reaper nods and wraiths away while Winston looks curiously at the little deaf child in Genji’s arms. 

“Perhaps, if you allow me to run some tests, I can cure her deafness without the hassle of an implant.” Winston says, getting a “bright” idea. 

“Tests? What you mean is experiment on her!” Genji frowns, holding the baby protectively. 

“Yes but think of the good that could come from it!” Winston defends himself.

“You will not be experimenting on an infant!” Angela stands abruptly. 

“But-” “No!” Angela and Genji both shout. 

Winston sighs. 

“Fine, I won’t experiment on her. I will leave her be. If anyone needs me, I’ll be cleaning up my lab.” Winston huffs and leaves the medbay.
