Help. I was trying to do incorrect quotes for Mabel, Dipper, and Penni, but Penni just keeps getting called some variant of a hoe. Why does the generator (and Mabel and Dipper in the generator) think that about her? What is this telling me?!
I'm still going to write the oneshot of Penni's deal with Bill, but I kind of forgot that I had not thought of any of the exact details of how it goes down. So, for now, whilst I'm still struggling with it, just think of "We'll Be Fine" in Epic the Musical.
Penni has been giving me major Telemachus vibes ever since I started thinking deeply about her, and Bill is just bending the truth the whole time. Honestly, though, that song (and Legendary) have been the only songs I've listened to whilst thinking out how the deal goes down.
Hm, just, y'know @institute-of-oddology-founder
“Okay, just so we’re clear, a version of me died in your world, and now you want to take me to yours to be a replacement? “That’s right.” “….Don’t you see how messed up that is??”
I'm not actually going to do anything with this idea, but it's been slightly infecting my brain.
My favourite one of the more mainstream gravity falls aus is Drifting Stars. So, combine that with my Washed Away au. Ford and Nimirylov are on their nice date when suddenly a portal opens up, and a human girl about their daughters age falls out. She's clearly not fine, passed out, and neither of them could even imagine just leaving her like that...
Mabel wakes up in a strange cottage. All she can remember is the flash of white after letting go of the button. Then walks in a weird aquatic man followed by someone who she mistakes for Stan at first.
Dam, I want to see E guess everyone's ages now.
fandom is so weird you never know how old anyone is but you just kinda assume most of them are around your age until proven otherwise and then one day someone is talking about their 9 year old kid on your dash and another person is saying they just finished 10th grade. wild.
Overstimulated as fuck so I tried to make a small doodle. I'm terrible at drawing and haven't drawn in, probably nearly a year. I needed to get my little baby out into the world exactly how I picture her, though.
This is Penni, Ford's alien fish child from my au (which I've finally decided to call Washed Away) as a baby.
Who needs anything else to chew on when you've got a tail? She's just so cute and I would die for her. It's not the clearest picture though so I must confirm that she inherited Ford's six fingers.
Before Ford and Nimirylov started dating:
Progress on the Bill's so far...
They're all naked.
I am still 100% completely and utterly sure that this is perfectly good idea. And having the amount of them being a multiple 3 probably makes it even better! I don't think they're too happy being so close to the fez, though...
Well, I'm sure that's irrelevant.
I like thinking about what Ford taught Penni about human culture because it's such a mixed bag.
Like, yes, obviously, he taught her about the holocaust. He was raised Jewish and that's an important part of history that his child should know. No, he did not tell her what rain is.
Yes, he told her about how humans drink water because they don't live in it and can't absorb water through gills like she does. No, he did not tell her what middle names are.
I was thinking about the last post I've made, so I've decided that I want anyone and everyone's ideas on what Ford would've and wouldn't have taught his hybrid daughter about humanity! The funnier the answer, the better!
Hi.
Awkward way to start my own post. I have no idea why I'm doing this right now, but I've already started.
My brain has been full of ideas for when Penni ends up finding herself with the Pines family, but I don't want to reveal too much too soon. However, I felt like sharing some information about her encountering humans other than Ford for the first time ever.
She never questioned why she has six fingers because Ford has six fingers. As such, Ford never ended up explaining to her why they both have six fingers. Consequently, she grows up believing that six fingers is just a typical human trait.
Therefore, when she first encounters another human, probably Dipper (I've not got it fully planned out yet but we're progressing forward for now as if it is Dipper), she promptly freaks over this human child missing a finger. It is an extremely stressful situation for him because he then has to try and calm down this girl with weird ears who doesn't fully speak English that he isn't missing a finger. That's just amongst other things as well. Penni's first meeting of new humans is a stressful situation for everybody involved.
Currently obsessed with Gravity Falls. Cooking up my own AU for it :> Washed Away au.
