Sure, I'll agree with that. But Annabeth is most certainly a Slytherin. She might have Ravenclaw tendencies in that she is the planner, the wise woman.
Bit that's not what drives get. We see all the way from Book 2, Sea of Monsters, that her AMBITION usssss what drives her.
When she willingly listens to the siren song, is it knowledge that she wants most in her core? No. It's success.
In fact, that may be why Percy and Annabeth, and even Grover (don't think I forgot about you, you Pan seeking madman) get along. They all gave their ambitions, their drive for success.
What is her boon from the Gods? Redesigning Olympus. Better than Daedalus ever could've made it.
Now onto Percy. He's got Slytherin tendencies, just like Annabeth has Ravenclaw ones. But I have done some questions. What tipped his rage so much to the point of drowning the Goddess of Misery in her own poisonous blood in House of Hades; What drew him back to camp each and every year, despite his constant near death experiences; Why was his fatal flaw the inability to choose the world over his friends; Why did he remember Annabeth through Hera's mind wipe in Son of Neptune; Why was his first reaction with his Medusa head in The Lightning Thief to send it to his mom, saving her from Gabe; Why was he so betrayed in Book 3 (can't remember the name, but the chapters with Thali, Grover, and Annabeth going to recruit Bianca and Nico) when Annabeth and Grover seemed to forget he even existed; Why did he jump after Annabeth in Mark of Athena, jumping into tartarus to ensure she'd survive; and, most importantly to me, why was his Achilles Heel in the small of his back?
There are details in every book showing exactly how loyal percy was. But we're forgetting about the need for being Fair.
He brought Jason with him when he dove to meet that goddess of storms in Blood of Olympus. He did this because he knew Jason didn't want or really need to be coddled. Percy is the one who "wasted" his chance at immortality to ensure the Gods would do their due duty for their kids, was the one who added in the stipulation that EVERY kid of EVERY God had to be claimed. He saved Besse a multitude of times, even though she could've been their downfall, because it was Fair. He's the one who mourned Selena's and Beckendorf's deaths along with Clarisse, because the war had taken so many good people. Because of the unFairness of the Gods' decisions.
I would like to note that Fair and Just are rather similar. But where Justice is indifferent, where Justice is black and white, Fairness is kind. Fairness paints Percy's actions because it is all internal. It is Fair to save Besse, Fair to force the Gods to do their duty, because Percy looks at things objectively. Because Percy is realistic, not passionate. Kinda hard to be passionate and optimistic when you grew up with Smelly Gabe.
Now, since I'm on a roll I might as well talk about Grover.
The dude's life Ambition was to find Pan. When he finally did so, he made it his new goal to warn and build upon the death of such a wonderful beast (wait this isn't Inscryption, get outta here Leshy). He faced Cyclops, The Labyrinth, and even Percy Jackson's luck (gasp, the horror) to find Success in his Ambition. And then he fought a world of ridicule after he came back to report Pan's death. Ventured out, facing Titans and monsters and even apprehensively befriending Tyson (again, the horror!!) all to keep his dream of finding the wild alive. He even became head honcho of that committee, and spread word that they would make their own wild in pockets of cities. Planter boxes in apartments, were one of his ideas (maybe along with percy, I don't remember). Grover sprinted through his story arc, chasing the green he'd make himself, adorn himself with.
The Hogwarts house of the HOO characters in mY opinion:
(Starting with him because yEs)
Jason: Slytherin (if you look more into his character, you can see that he’s very ambitious. He put all his efforts into making sure all gods would be recognised and led the legion for years before coming to CHB. That’s pretty ambitious right? Plus strong leadership skills is also a Slytherin trait. So is cleverness, and he has outsmarted his enemies a lot of times.)
Annabeth: Ravenclaw (well she’s a child of Athena and every Ravenclaw trait fits her so idk what else it would be-)
Piper: Gryffindor (she is courageous, chivalrous and determined. Not to mention very passionate. She belongs there. She is also kind of wise but more determined.)
Percy: Slytherin (Ik a lot of people would say he’s a Hufflepuff and it’s understandable really, but his personality traits match Slytherin’s. I think he has great leadership skills. Because, he led the Titan war AND the Romans trusted him to lead the legion. If you observe him at SoN, he’s pretty clever. The only trait that would make him a Hufflepuff is “loyalty” otherwise he’s nothing like it. And I think Slytherins can end the world for people they love, just like Percy would for Annabeth. :D)
Hazel: Hufflepuff (she has patience, loyalty, dedication, hard work and a very good sense of what’s right and wrong so yes.)
Frank: Slytherin (you really need reasons? Yes he’s a sweetheart, but if you have read ToA, he’s so full of ambition and cunningness and leader-material and um boyfriend material too but we don’t talk about that… why don’t we tho?)
Leo: Ravenclaw (dUh. I mean. He can do some college math at the age of 16 and BUILD A FRICKING WARSHIP… wHaT eLsE dO yOu nEeD??)
Nico: Hufflepuff (pls don’t make him a Slytherin, he’s not-)
Reyna: Slytherin (I don’t think I have to explain…)
Octavian: No one cares so burn your bears :)
I know there’s an existing post somewhere, but here’s the list of OBGYNs in the USA and other countries that will perform tubal ligation (aka female sterilization) without arguing with you
4000cc breast implants :)
I heard somewhere that one can become partially immune to the effects of a drug if they take doses of it for too long.
Well, I have a hypothesis. Hear me out really quickly.
I think I can become completely immune to piercing weapons.
if i had to explain what tumblr is like i’d only show this

You wanna know how I got these scars :) :) :)
I picked at my face pimples. That's how.
my message 2 the world
It's midnight(ish) and I'm here WONDERING WHAT MAKES A HUMAN like some sort of PHILOSOPHER.
Cause I know it can't be empathy; other animals have that too.
Community? Nope
Imagination? Probably not, even if other animals don't think as abstract as we do.
It can't be our messed up skeletal structure (at least I hope not) or our intelligence. The former would just be sad, and the latter is seen in corvids and cats and... and... well... lotsa other things.
I think it might be our lack of power. We grew up on this earth with danger all around and not very many ways to defend ourselves, right? Our skin is easily broken, our young defenseless even compared to the average young (loads of other animals can at least *fend* for themselves, imo). And when we first started roaming, all we really had was a penchant for curiosity and traits we forged from the fire we came from.
Loyalty so that our young may survive (not thrive, just live), Wonder to protect each other from what lurked in the shadows, a knack for Learning beyond what's needed so we could make things easier and a burning question in each of us.
What thag question is? I don't really know. Maybe for each person it's different. I see people wandering around asking Why, or Who, or Where.
Why are we here, Why are they in pain, Why does this thing happen the way it does. Who created us, Who must I defend against, Who knows how to help. Where did we begin, Where are we going, Where can I find xyz.
For me, I think I want to know Who the people around me are. I want to know What their question is. Maybe it's an attempt to rectify old mistakes; perhaps it's something as benign as curiosity.
Where was I... ah yes.
That helplessness of our species' youth isn't all that special either. But where the ant had its numbers and the whale its size and the cheetah its speed... we really had nothing going for us. No natural tools for offense or defence, a limited immune system, a body that worked against us with its vestigial organs.
Is that struggle what made us? Is it why we toil and war with each other over who is more powerful; because we felt powerlessness and declared "no more"? Why we abuse and heal, take and give, in so many ways and variations that the flavors all look and taste so similar?
And to imagine, all this was me hyping myself up for an hfy skit later :p
