I have loved Russel Tovey since i first watched Being Human about seven years ago. More people should watch that show - its a perfect amount of chaos.
ROB BECKETT'S SMART TV 1.01 — Russell Tovey
I think i might have been the most awkward person meeting him though. I literally barely said a word to him because i got confused who out of the people near me was talking first (apparently it was me but i didnt know that) and then i realised after that he was literally stood next to me when i unlocked my phone meaning he saw my lockscreen which is a picture of him and Alex. So overall just very awkward 😂
So I saw Miles in Bristol on Friday. The show was incredible - both Miles and the opening act (The Royston Club) were so good. I have some kind of bad quality pictures and videos from the gig if anyone wants to see them I can post some. I also met Miles after the show and despite me barely saying a word and being really awkward he was so lovely.
my favourite Miles song. i need to see it!!
cry on my guitar sounds so good aaaaaaahhhhh give me footage ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
fellas is it gay for your best friend to sit down with your biological father and look through the scrapbook he made including pictures of you as a child and then arrange dinner with him and your mother because he's the only person who can get you to actually speak to her
I love them so much!!!
I think my favorite part of Bill and Ted is the fact that, while the film pokes fun at its protagonists, it also makes it clear the virtues that these characters hold. Bill and Ted are doofuses, sure, but they're also incredibly kind in a way that's not treated as demeaning or demasculating. They're just two bros vibing through time.
Has anyone seen slaughterhouse rulez? It is one of the best films I have ever seen and its definitely my favourite. Its complete insanity but it is so good. Its made by Simon Pegg and Nick Frost (so you know its going to be good) and the main characters are played by Finn Cole and Asa Butterfield (Asa's character is also canonically gay).
It basically follows the story of a yorkshire boy who moves school to a posh public school in Gloucester in the middle of term. Long story short the headteacher has allowed fracking on site which released these weird animals out the ground which start to attack the school and a small group of the students and one teacher (Simon Pegg) have to get rid of them. In the process blowing up the school.
Its a really good way of showing the social imbalance in English school and also deals with things lime homophobia and bullying in these places while still being a comedy film.
It also has Michael Sheen and a young Kit Conner in it as well.
Anyway thats all i wanted to say I just love this (mostly unknown) film so much.
