I had started working on this before the election but in light of the results, I wanted to put it out here as soon as possible. All the resources are either active, or still useful even if they have not been updated recently.

MY MARBLE HORNETS HCS (featuring no trauma!)

•Alex and Tim are trans men. One has top surgery while the other does not

•Alex had/ still has bad acne

•Brian goes for morning runs, keeping himself active is good for his mental health and keeps him motivated

•Jay has social anxiety and autism

•Tim actually likes to read a lot, being on his phone does almost nothing for him unless its to text his friends

•Their friendgroup is affectionate towards eachother because they’re just that comfortable. Brian is the one who initiates the most and he’s 100% a playful tease saying that they’re ‘falling in love’ with him. They are. This only makes them love him more

•Tim is someone who likes soft lighting, so string lights or lamps in a dark room over big bright lights anyday

•Jay has a caffeine problem, he tried coffee one day and it just stuck. Same goes for Alex with monster

•ALEX WAS A SCENE KID AT SOME POINT‼️

•They all do prank wars on one another, it CAN get annoying but its still fun and only lasts a day

•Playing with Tims hair is like his sleep switch, he’s passed tf out once someones fingers are scratching his scalp

•Brians favourite flavour of icecream is something like green apple, he’s always bummed that a lot of places don’t have it

•Jay has a specific routine he has to follow every night and morning, disrupting said routine can be upsetting for him (its the autism).

•THEY GO TO PRIDE PARADES WHEN THEY CAN

•They’ve all had that classic idea of “lets all live together someday” knowing damn well being in the same house together for even a week, would be hell. Dorms are just fine.

•Sleepovers consist of some of the best memories!

•Alex and Amy only lasted a total of 2 months

•Tim occasionally goes on hikes

•They took a beach trip once and buried Brian in the sand like a mermaid

•Jay for some reason is always cold whilst Tim is warm

•They borrow eachothers clothes whether its for comfort or warmth or even if they just wanna wear it

•Bran helps give Alex his T shots whilst Jay helps Tim and tbh they do switch depending on who’s with them at the time

•They have a conjoined playlist so that way they cant really fight over who has the aux in the car, they only listen to the joined one as a group

•Alex is much more affectionate when he’s sleepy and his words become loose since he’s so tired. He’ll compliment someone whilst half asleep and deny it the next day

•Jay doesn’t like sweet things often, they make him feel sick, but salty things he enjoys

•They’ve all shared a bed at least once, it was not comfortable in the slightest given they were spread out on ONE bed. They’d passed out watching something at a sleepover

•Tim is prone to nosebleeds

•Brian has this scent of like..a warm summer day and no one knows what the actual scent is

•Jay keeps a hanging polaroid line on his wall, they’re all dated and everything

My psychiatrist wanted me do a genetic test to figure out what meds will help me the most (something something what enzymes does my brain not convert to something else something science something) and I said "I'd love to but I just need to know the price" and she said "Oh, insurance will cover it." So guess what haha insurance does NOT cover it because apparently the lab is out of network! I now owe them a few hundred bucks that I do not have to spare at the moment.

Something I haven't seen talked about a lot in CRP or Slenderverse spaces was the prevalence of fire in relation to the Slenderman (who, for brevity sake, will be referred to as the Operator in this post)..

What really made it click in my head was finally playing the extra level, Nightmare, in Slender: The Arrival (and also my gorgeous @pechadream pointing out the specifics to me ehe..)

Under cut will be a sort of analysis moreso long winded talk on fire in the story of Marble Hornets, JTK, STA, and Toby's...

It is to be noted that Joseph, Troy, and Tim S. all worked on STA -- not sure to what extent, but they are credited. This is important as there are two instances in MH wherein a fire happened. Linking that with the whole "Cleanse with fire" message that STA was going for, it could explain why people like Alex, CR, Toby, or perhaps Tim W. chose the option of burning in an attempt to kill/cover up tracks instead of anything easier.

Talks of purification are laden in this level of STA which reminds me of the biblical motifs of Marble Hornets. The major cleanses with fire in the Bible (Sodom and Gomorrah, Revelations) all refer to God using fire to cleanse a place of its sinners. Alex himself is often seen with stigmata's and imagery of Christ, of a savior; therefore he sees himself doing a favor by not merely attempting to kill Tim (at first at least lol), the root of it all, by typical means, but to purify him in a sense by letting him die by flame. (CR's plan is similar -- basically the same -- to Alex's so I won't talk about him and Kate ;()

Now it's not really confirmed how Tim's psychiatric institute burnt down, but I think it started in his hospital room? Either way, I think it's an interesting link if it was kid Tim who started it: trying to cleanse himself and everyone he affected, but in turn not doing anything useful.

Creepypasta-wise I think it is extra interesting as we never got a reason as to why Toby would choose to light his entire neighborhood on fire. @pechadream pointed it out that the Operator's influence could play into why Toby would do that.. Whether it be as a last ditch effort to cover up his tracks or deluded empathy trying to free everyone (especially his mother) from the Operator's influence.

Now Jeff (talking about Woods here) is a bit more.. farfetched. This is also if he was in the same universe as the Operator. Story goes that he gets set on fire and he comes out fucked up, why the bullies burnt him? Could be related to the Operator could not be. ANYWAYS. Purifying in the Bible is not only limited to fires, of course. I'd like to think of Woods's burning as a sort of baptism for him.. He was born anew and all that and come to think of it this could refer to Toby too

I think what m trying to say is that cleansing with fire should be explored more when talking about slender.. okay thanks

I’ve decided that every time Im working on something and it pisses me off, I will not punch things, instead I will learn how to make an origami creature.

So far I have made multiple cicadas, a rhino beetle, and a capybara

Long ass ramble about this after cut :) I am actually losing it. Also I might add some grammar to this in the morning. It’s 2 am rn.

I am trying so hard to figure out this design. like at this point I’m actually going insane over this bc like YESS I NEED THAT IN MY LIFE but ougghhh… gears are small and I must make it look like it would actually function or I will cry. I also have no idea how mechanical stuff works so I have to research first hrrrggh

Ok so like he still has the white bc he gets an outer porcelain layer as a decorative cover, but instead of the like cheek tooth window thing (it’s the middle of the night I can’t make words rn) it would be exposed gears and pistons. And also exposed teeth bc teeth are cool.

I don’t really know how his arms would work because the weird bone twisty thing arms do is honestly fucked up and I hate it and my brain cannot figure out how to make it work with metal thingys.

And he would have an exposed gear mechanism on his chest and it would essentially be his heart and I feel like if you stuck a pencil in it he would spontaneously combust so maybe heart doesn’t need a gun with steampunk mind???

Also about the porcelain bc I love ceramics, he’s totally built like a fancy dinner set. Think chinoiserie patterns with the blue on white designs but make it art nouveau with the whiplash lines and florals. Also he paints them himself so it’s entirely customizable.

But like you see the vision right?? The delicate porcelain contrasting with the machinery and like even the colors contrast so it’s even better. And the whole mind trying to cover up the rough metal with something that’s “more appealing”

I dunno if it still qualifies as steampunk at this point but like the machinery that is still exposed will totally be steampunk so whatever.

Holy shit it’s late I and going to try to sleep while this plagues my mind and I will hopefully make some concept sketches sometime tomorrow bc writing this all down helped me figure out how I want to draw him.

Okay, so. We've all seen Mind as a cyper-punk like robot. But, hear me out on this, what about a steam-punk Mind? What would it look like if Mind was made of copper and/or bronze? Someone please make art of this.
