[text ID: I just want a humble, murderously simple thing: that a person be glad when I walk into the room.]
cause of death: can’t focus in any of the 72 things i’m trying to do.
my brain goes from french grammar to how to write a mystery novel to korean vocabulary and right into ‘what fluff will feat on that write fic’ followed by ‘uh, holes in space time but not the sigularity type’ and have I told you guys about the commom origin of the word hundred on proto-indo european languages? It’s like that 89% of the time and then for 10% my brain is blank and for 1% i am focused
Harrisco Fest is a super chill month-long event in August, comprised of a giant, beautiful, prompt list sent in by the Harrisco community. Made to generate content and flourish the community, Harrisco Pit residents and newly tempted folk are free to play with the list however they want–all mediums welcome, pick whatever prompts, pair them together, reuse them… The fest allows for different creative paces, fussy muses, and life.
8/1 - 8/31 ★ Pick from this year’s prompt list sent in by the Harrisco community. Create using whatever mediums you wish! (This year I’m merging prompts from 2022 and 2023 together! <3 I also may be peppering in more along the way.)
Post your creations inspired by the list.
I reblog your posts. ★ Add @heckyeahharrisco to your post(s) so I can see your pieces and reblog!
Use any prompts as many times you like. You can also combine prompts.
Please, note explicit or mature rating if the work is so. Add warnings if they apply. Make sure any text works are at least moderately proofread.
(✿ ♥‿♥) … The master list of fest works comes out in Sept! Post-fest, for the rest of the year, anyone wanting to play with the list can post and will be added and reblogged.
~ digital/traditional, painting, gifs, writing, edits, podfics, crafts, cosplay, vidding, music, doodles/sketches, recipes/bevs, recs… Whatever is percolating in that brainpan, go for it, Harrisco Pit! ~
Share this post to circulate w/the Harrisco Pit and beyond. I’ll keep this post pinned until we’re finished.

The ending of Mr. Queen is homophobic af and you can't change my mind.
Recently, I figured that for some reason that I cannot explain I just find it easier to read things when starting from the end; example, on AO3, even if I open a search from the most something - like the most kudos - I have this strong need to go for the end of the page and start reading it from the last to the first. I >can< start it from the top, but when I do it the process is so much slower and almost painful. Like what? Dunno what's going on in my brain, but I happy I found this way of doing things more easily
was gonna post this wip snip on twitter like the rest but then I realized the core demo for "you know how you're supposed to talk to babies to stimulate their social development or whatever? yeah so dean recites episodes of house md to baby jack" is solely on this website so
[ID: Screenshot that reads:
"'So he pages her, right? And then—get this—he sticks the knife he stole from the kid in the outlet right before she gets to the door.' Dean pauses, seems to consider what he just said, and turns to Jack to add, 'Don't do that, yeah? It's dangerous. Bad for babies.'
Jack nods, wide-eyed, around his teething ring."
End of description.]
Concept:
A movie that pits the four Chrises (Hemsworth, Evans, Pratt, & Pine) against the four Toms (Hiddleston, Holland, Hardy, & Felton).

i am going to miss this show truly
