My name is Hashem from Gaza. I am 32 years old and my wife, Samar, is 27 years old. We have a child born in the eighth month of pregnancy. His mother was premature because of my wife's fear of war. My large family consists of 8 members: my father, mother, four male brothers and 2 females. My father died in the war due to a lack of medicine in hospitals as a result of the fierce war on Gaza.

My story began when we were displaced from our home in northern Gaza in mid-October 2023 after a letter threatening eviction, and then the house was targeted and destroyed. Between this Exodus and the current fifth Exodus there are many stories and sufferings.

We now live in plastic tents, which are thermal ovens, which are not suitable for living and do not provide the minimum necessities of life, in addition to the spread of epidemics and diseases, which puts our lives in danger.

Through this campaign, we are trying to collect enough money to meet our needs and get us out of the Gaza Strip safely. We ask you to stand by us and protect us from this severe danger.

I am Maram, a second-year student majoring in Information Technology. I never imagined myself in a position where I would have to ask for help, but circumstances are stronger than us, and I have no other choice but to speak up.

Housing has become a heavy burden, prices are skyrocketing, rent keeps increasing every month, and we have no stable source of income. The economic situation is suffocating, and everything has become so expensive that even basic necessities feel like luxuries! My father carries all these burdens on top of his physical and emotional suffering, and I can't just stand by and watch.

That’s why I decided to create this account myself and try to help him, even in the smallest way. If you are reading this now, I am not just asking for support—I am asking for a chance to save my family from falling apart and to give my father a bit of relief after everything he has been through. Before the war, I did not have a breadwinner or any source of income. During the war I didn't give up to teach so I volunteered and had good chance to help some students to get engaged again with English in a very creative way.

We are in tents for almost two years because our home was destroyed‼️🥺

This war wasn't easy at all it has taken many friends at work, students and some of my colleagues at the university. They are almost ten souls I won't never forget . Farah received a severe head injury after her home was bombed by the occupation last year. It resulted in a fractured skull and brain bleeding, which left her disabled for several months. To continue the treatment of her wound, she needs to evacuate outside of Gaza. However, this is very expensive, and her family is large. They cannot work due to the invasion, and have no way of raising the funds to pay evacuation costs, or to support themselves until evacuation is possible.

Farah’s family has started a GFM campaign, but progress is very slow. Total donations up to now equal less than 1% of their goal, despite being open since April! They will not be able to evacuate, or to survive in the mean time, without your help.
