This is a remaster and rework of Medieval NPC Replacements: Private School & University by Sunni, mostly to make use of more modern techniques of default replacement, I made sure that these defaults only applied to a specific outfit and not the whole set (as you can see for the female tweed jacket, that the only color I replaced only affects female teachers, the rest remain unchanged, so other defaults can be used on their place, or the private school uniforms), with some exceptions that I will cover.
The link above should cover most of the previews of the set, so I'm not going to show all defaults, but I will add that I did some changes specifically to the Coach, Llama mascot and Cheerleader, Adding one new color to complement the original color scheme the original outfits had going on:
The .RAR contains up to 30 defaults that cover everything the original set had, with 3 exceptions, the diploma default, that i decided to leave out since this is only meant to cover CAS outfits and hairs, and the ballcap hat defaults, since those were meant to be more like hat hiders, and force one specific hair mesh, I'd rather use something like @kitteninthewindow No Fixed Hairs For Various Careers & NPCs than specify one hairstyle for each hat that might not be someone's cup of tea.
And without further ado, you can download the newly updated defaults here: Download
Credits: Sunni for the originals, TheLionheart for the original idea, Sherabim for the Textures, Tiggerypum, All About Style, IamLiz13, Mia86 and TommyTiger for meshes and everyone and the Plumbbob Keep Forum and Discord for the support
If you don't care for the text exposure of how this set came to be, you can just go straight for the Neocities download page (Check it out, it has a gallery now too!!):
and now, for the context
Early this week Lord Crumps released a 4t2 conversion of the Luxury Party stuff pack, that included this nifty custom functional serving platter, courtesy of Lamare.
However, since a lot of straightforward sims 4 conversions don't match the visual style of my game much, I decided to clone the serving tray and use Pineapple Forest's Restaurant Cloche default mesh and textures to replace it with, but then, the project escalated (Not as much as other projects), and I decided to also include a Banquet Table that matched The Rotunda Table from Celebrations, and instead of sticking of one size of party platter, how about two, and make it recolorable and repositoried while I'm at it!
So This is what you get, 3 Objects and 1 recolor
Again, special thanks to @lordcrumps @lamare-sims for the original objects, and @pforestsims for the mesh and textures of the cloche.
PS: I do recommend the mod edit that comes with the party pack to make the sims make more use of the buffet platters.
Just saying, you're awesome ;)
Aww! Thank you!
Also glad to hear that @amberdefault @fakebloood and @suratan-zir are also back, this shouldn’t have happened in the first place, but I am glad to see their blogs back
This is a quick project that had been floating on my head on and off, but decided to tackle now as a bit of a palate cleanser from other projects I'm working on
This is Lady Lama's Assassin's Creed Crossbow conversion as a functional default replacement for the Repogun.
Why a crossbow, you may ask, what are the logistics of a crossbow taking away your stuff? Magic I suppose, also, Rule of Cool, it looks really cool in action (well, it does have clipping going on, tried to mitigate it as much as I could, but I can live with it)

After coming back into contact with Stas, Sunni's widower, the plans for the Keep have changed. Disregard most of what was posted above.
We WILL be remaining open for the foreseeable future, accepting both new members and new content. The site will remain a historical- and fantasy-focused Sims 2 forum.
Going forward, the Keep will be managed by a "Regency Council" instead of just one Regent. This will consist of PBK moderators CelestialSpider, Davina Ojeda, and rugrat0ne, as well as Discord moderators Fire_flower and Sonikku3.
Fractured Moonlight will be stepping back into something of a "silent partner" role so she can focus on creating. We thank her for her years of service running the Keep all by herself, especially out of the blue. We know it was not easy.
We are already establishing better lines of communication with Stas in hopes of avoiding the annual early March panic, and reminders have been set for February fundraising.
There will be annual fundraisers on GoFundMe or similar sites to offset the cost, and to provide more transparency than we've been able to provide in the past.
Meanwhile, archiving efforts will continue until the site is fully backed up, as a failsafe. We will also periodically archive new content in the future.
Many, many thanks to those who pitched in on the archiving project, to those who donated, in this year and previous ones, and to everyone who supported and continues to support Plumb Bob Keep.
If you see this in your Ask box, DO NOT GIVE OUT YOUR EMAIL. THEY ARE TRYING TO HACK YOUR ACCOUNT.
I’ve already seen another simblr receive this so I thought I’d signal boost the moron trying to hack people’s accounts.
I want to ask to sims 2 simblr in general for an oddly specific detail that someone might know for one reason or another. Does anyone know what is the Highest Poly count of all official EAxis hair meshes, these include not just in-game hairs, but Store, Pre-Order and Official Exchange Hair Meshes?
Oh we're doing a simblr gratitude day... wait what do you mean i'm a day or two late?! Well where do I even begin, I'm not exactly the most vocal person on social media, and a lot of my connections were formed through forums like the Keep and the late but not forgotten Sims Daily, but plenty of the people I met there are still around here, and I'm always happy to see them post, regardless of what sims game they are playing.
I'm going to tag some people I've appreciated through the years and some that I am thankful to have met and others that I don't know personally but i still find their work pretty cool, in no particular order @fireflowersims @fracturedmoonlight @davinaojeda @anachronisims @mortia @missy-hissy @aroundthesims @ice-creamforbreakfast @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel @sentate @pforestsims @deedee-sims @jacky93sims @lamare-sims @lazyduchess @asimplevampire @osab @crispsandkerosene @mrs-mquve-cc @episims @simnostalgia @mustluvcatz-reloaded @tvickiesims @jellymeduza @hodgekiss @bstu @gummilutt @12raben @bayoubashsims @glorianasims @gayars @emperorofthedark @esotheria-sims @withlovefromsimtown @goatskickin @itsdiamondeyesuniverse @riekus13 @junipermeadows @lavenderlight @simping-simmer @midgethetree @samkat10423 @vampirekiss6661 @franglishetchocolat @sitaechoes @anitmb and @aniraklova I probably missed a ton more of people, but just know that i appreciate everyone, my mutuals, the cc creators, the storytellers, the builders, the photographers, everyone that makes this little corner of the internet and the sims community special, In fact the reason I got this post as late as I did was because I was seriously trying to remember all the amazing people In the community I've met before or found to be cool, and again, even If I haven't tagged you and we've interacted before, know that I haven't forgotten about you, and that I still appreciate you!

A while ago I started using @episims' wonderful towel lite mod that makes our Sims put on a towel or a bathrobe after they shower or bathe. It adds a delightful touch of realism that is really fun. But as much as I enjoy taking my rich lady from her fancy bathroom to her walk in closet in a towel, sometimes I don't want to send my Sim past their bedroom to get dressed. When I shower I usually get dressed in the bathroom, putting on clothes I hung by the towels before getting in the shower. I thought, why can't my Sims do the same? With a little imagination, I re-purposed the actions of the Seasons coat rack to add clothes-changing animations to the towel racks that most of my Sims already have in their bathrooms, so that I can pretend they too put out their clothes on the towel rack before getting in. I wasn't sure if it was worth uploading but you guys loved the idea so here we go! :)
I only added everyday, formal and pyjamas because those are the three I thought it likely I would ever want. Shower during the day? Everyday clothes please! Girlies got ready for a night out? Get glam with your formal wear! A shower before bed? You'll want your pyjamas. The other categories seem unlikely, but I am open to updating it if there's a persuasive reason :)
As you can see in the video Sims are pretty decent about using the towel racks, even if they are on a wall behind stuff. I haven't altered the actual code to navigate to it, it uses the same slot as viewing the deco object did previously, which in my test has worked well. In the end I had to use different animations for children because the coat rack uses a step stool which needs a slot that the deco objects do not have and I could not figure out adding one. It was either different animations or floating in the air, so different animations it is :)
I've edited three of the Maxis towel racks. "Towel on a Metal Rod", "Towel on a Wooden Rod" and "Towel Hanger Plus Plus". I'm also sharing one edited CC towel rack by Simply Styling, which I discovered through @gayars recolors found on her website here.
Get maxis towel rack add on on SFS | Get Jope towel rack on SFS
If any creators would like to add these edits to their own towel racks, please feel free to do so. To make it easier on you, or any simmer that simply wants to update things they downloaded, I prepared a download package with the resources you need and some basic instructions. It's not step by step, it assumes you are familiar with edits. Should anyone want or need more detailed instructions, I am happy to help when I can :)
Conflicts: The maxis towel rack add on are global plug in for those objects, which means there is a potential for conflicts. HCDU+ will find any conflicts, but I doubt there are any. Indirect conflicts may also occur if you have mods that add additional interactions to deco objects, they would not show on the towel racks because I have overridden their usual pie menu.
Credits: whoward69 at @picknmixsims who taught me how to edit event trees in animations, @episims for the towel lite mod that inspired this, @gayars who taught me how to repurpose animations between objects and for introducing me to the jope towel, and all you lovely people that encouraged me to post this with your enthusiasm <3
(He/Him) I share mostly Sims 2 content, not at a consistent rate. (Also known as Sonikku3 and jdps18 on different websites)
