B-PLOT

In a nation far away from the Quesadilla Archipelago sits a police state off the anarchist continent of 2b2t. Fit is a refuge from 2b2t and takes the first job he can get when he gets to the police state: vampire hunter.Ā

Fit doesn’t have any moral obligation to this, as growing up in 2b2t all vampires he had encountered had been aggressive and dangerous. With the first place he moves to promoting anti-vampire propaganda, Fit has no reason to believe that they aren’t essentially intelligent zombies.

Before his nighttime shifts, Fit stops by a 24/7 dinner each night to have a meal and some coffee. There he meets Pac, a cute young waiter who also happens to run the night shift ;) They get chummy and eventually Fit realizes that he likes Pac, leading to him fighting internalized homophobia (which should be the least of his worries).Ā

Getting to know Pac better, Fit finds out that Pac lives with a roomate, Mike. At first he worries that he’s crushing on somebody who’s taken. Fit asks Pac to ā€œhang outā€ outside of work during daylight hours, but he refuses each time usually using Mike as an excuse. Eventually Pac explains that Mike is essentially his brother and he has to spend a lot of time taking care of him because he’s incredibly sickly. Pac says that he has to spend a lot of time working in order to pay for both of them and is often too exhausted during the day for any activity. This leads to Fit greatly admiring Pac for being so selfless.

Eventually they get to talking about Fit and his profession after spending many dinners together. (fit worries because despite pac taking his dinner break with Fit, he hardly eats and refuses all offers for Fit to pay for his dinner). Fit often tries not to talk about his job, as it’s dirty business, but eventually opens up to Pac. Unexpectedly to Fit, this makes Pac a lot more uncomfortable than he thought it would. Pac was such an empathetic listener, Fit was certain he’d understand.Ā

Pac starts to almost grill Fit, asking if he’s killed vampires who weren’t hunting before. He asks if Fit kills all vampires he comes across. He asks if Fit has ever met one that didn’t seem so bad. Fit, understandably, gets defensive. Yes, he kills all vampires. If he doesn’t, him, Pac, and Mike would all fall to their hands. They cannot get too powerful.Ā

Pac falls quiet at this. His demeanor is scarily different. It’s almost… demure… embarrassed? Is he scared. Fit tries to apologize for snapping, but Pac stops him. He admits to having met a vampire he thought to be kind before and had heard of vampires and people coexisting in other nations. He begs Fit that if he were to ever come across a vampire that seemed kind or redeemable to spare it. Fit says tries to explain that those thoughts are false, and dangerous, but Pac just smiles at him, hoarsely whispers a goodnight, and disappears into the dimly lit kitchens of the diner.Ā

Fit doesn’t see Pac again after that experience and it plagues him at night. Of course he’s briefly considered the morality of killing vampires and the fact that there are nations that live with vampires, but those thoughts have never kept him alive before. Yet now they plague him. He’s aware of his new nations authoritarian presence and considers that it’s propaganda regarding vampire-friendly nations could be falsified. After all, Fit grew up in a land that ran entirely on anarchy. Anything is possible and he’s not necessarily naive.Ā

He considers the fact that maybe Pac is naive, but knows that Pac is actually so so smart. He does online classes for his degree in chemical engineering after all. Fit still tries to convince himself that vampires are mindless beasts, but it’s harder to settle now. On a sidebar, a vampire likely took Fit’s arm, contributing to his attitude on them.

Of course shortly after his conversation with Pac, Fit meets Ramon. During one of his nighttime sweeps, Fit hears the unmistakable sound of human eating noises and the splatter of what could only be blood coming from an alley. He turns the corner and finds Ramon absolutely tearing into the carcass of a rat.Ā

Fit hesitates for a few reasons, Ramon is the youngest vampire he’s seen yet, being barely around 10 years old, he isn’t eating a human, and he flinches away from Fit. Fit comes to his senses, a bit surprised that Ramon hasn’t sprang for his face yet. He gets ready to give the fledgling a swift death, but Ramon begins to speak, begging him not to make it hurt. Fit has heard vampires speak before, but this was the first time one spoke kindly to him. Fit finds himself unable to hurt the kid. He takes off his overcoat, throws it over Ramon’s bloodstained body.Ā

He takes in Ramon and finds out that many of his biases against vampires are unjust. Ramon explains that a lot of vampires actually intermingle in society but many can’t. Ramon can’t because he’s a child and would likely get discovered quickly. Ramon explains that a lot of vampires can sustain off of meat and animal blood, but ultimately it’s not enough and only human is truely filling. Without as least some human blood, most vampires will become very weak, thought they likely won’t die unless they stop eating completely.

Fit feeds Ramon all the meat he could want and eventually convinced Ramon to feed from himself as well. It takes a lot of time and conviction. Ramon is almost aggressive by the time he agrees. Fit eventually finds out that Ramon wasn’t even turned a year ago. He was a street rat who was kidnapped and forced to join a fighting ring. Spreen was a captive vampire that was forced to bite and turn Ramon. Spreen broke the two of them out and watched over Ramon for a few weeks before leaving. During that time Spreen taught Ramon a lot of hard lessons and wasn’t very kind to him. He left suddenly leaving Ramon to have to adapt quickly.Ā

What Spreen never told Ramon was that he only was cruel to strengthen him. He left so suddenly because he knew that their former captors had his scent and would soon kill him. Unfortunately, Ramon never knew these things and nobody would, forever giving him a complicated outlook on his sire.

Between working nights and now raising and ā€œfeedingā€ a kid, Fit is exhausted. One very early morning during one of his patrols, Fit comes across a vampire eating the corpse of a person. It’s Pac. He and Fit make eye contact and Pac bursts into tears, incoherently apologize while scrambling away. Fit assures Pac that he won’t kill him.Ā

Pac explains that he was turned a few years ago in prison and just barely escaped with Mike. They didn’t mean to end up in their current nation, as they were aiming for one that didn’t kill vampires, but ended up settling as they regained strength and money to travel. Meat wasn’t enough to sustain Pac so he began hunting bad people from anonymous tips on the dark web. It got too dangerous after a vampire hunter caught him onetime and nearly killed him so Mike insisted that he were to feed from him,Ā

It wasn’t sustainable and eventually Mike became very anemic leaving Pac to support both of them. Despite being sickly, Mike still insists that Pac feeds from him until he no longer can, hence his and Fit’s unfortunate meeting. Fit takes Pac home where Pac is certain that Fit will kill him. He begs Fit to take care of Mike, as he deserves nothing bad to come to him. Fit tries to reassure him, but Pac is inconsolable. He finally calms down when Fit introduces him to Ramon.

Fit quickly meets Mike, who at first is very distrustful of him, but comes around. They all move in together and start pooling money and plan to escape. It’s hard with Pac and Ramon’s diet and Mike’s poor health, but they just barely pull it off and end up in Quesadilla Island :)

also I forgot to mention last post but I’d love it if anybody wanted to talk about their own questions, thoughts, or own aus

Okay so vampire AU!

The world had a war that resulted in vampires being subjected to a lot of shitty stuff. They have the basic negative stereotypes and the one place that vampires actually rule is a lawless wasteland where all humans die. Most places kill or do not allow vampires to reside there, but Quesadilla Island does, albeit for shady reasons.Ā

Vampires are allowed to live in Quesadilla Island relatively peacefully, however they must stay at one of three group homes. I imagine BBH, Philza, and Foolish each running one. BBH runs one in the far north where it’s cold and rainy most the year, Foolish in the south of the archipelago where it’s warm and daywalking is more common, and Philza somewhere in the middle, maybe he’s the only one who owns a group home in the city.Ā

Foolish, BBH, and Philza are all 2nd generation vampires which means they were sired by the ā€œoriginal vampiresā€. No original vampire still survives which makes the few remaining 2nd generation ones the strongest around making them ideal to run group homes. BBH, Foolish, and Philza are all reasonable and kindhearted in their own ways, which make them ideal to run group homes. Their power also makes them ideal to have under control.Ā

I haven’t quite divided up who would live under which group home but I think vaguely it would follow purgatory grouping, though I imagine tina with foolish and bagi with bbh so maybe not. Tubbo is a human who got forced to live at BBH’s home for reasons I haven’t fully fleshed out. Bad and the vampires are surprised. Tubbo is scared at first but they all adapt.

That’s basically the bones of my AU. It’s so far completely been in my head so the details are jumbled.

Some plot lines I’ve had are that BBH and Foolish were sired by the same vampire so they were both under his control at the same time. This led to them somewhat trauma bonding. Philza is somewhat of a mentor to bbh and foolish being older than them by a few hundred years. BBh is older than foolish by about 50 and holds it over his head all the time.Ā

BBH takes in a lot of children who got turned and abandoned, Dapper being one of them. Cellbit was sired by BBH and went on to later sire his husband Roier himself. They both used to stay in Philza’s coven but were forcibly removed and sent to bbh and foolish separately after an incident. They’re both depressed.Ā

Tina and Bagi are also separated, but they didn’t do anything so there’s conspiracy that the federation wont tolerate vampire couples or something.Ā

Pac is a newly turned vampire. He lives in a anti vampire city with Mike who is his sole source of food. Pac begins to hunt after Mike gets more and more anemic. Fit is a handsome vampire hunter that visits the 24/7 diner that pac works the night shift at. Fit was in an awful accident where he and his family ended up in the vampire lands. Fit was the sole survivor and really buys into anti vampire propaganda. One night he gets a call reporting a vampire and finds the cute waiter that’s been working the night shift at his favorite diner. He freezes and lets Pac escape. This leads to him questioning all of his beliefs and when he finds Ramon, a child vampire a week later that he can’t kill, he knows there’s only one person he can turn to for help.

I wanted to add a little epilogue where shortly after meeting each other they immediately get sucked up into portal that thankfully dumps them out onto Lon Lon Ranch. Malon finds them stumbling through her pastures, takes in the dried blood in Legend’s hairline and Hyrule’s drenched appearance. She basically looks at two pathetic drenched cats and takes them in. She has them feeling better in no time with a meal, baths, and a potion. When Time gets back home introductions and explanations go around. Upon hearing that they’re all called Link they’re like: omg it’s such a common name.

They think it’s a coincidence until Malon tells them: ā€œyou guys fell out of a portal. Nature is attacking you. You all have the same name. You don’t think you’re connected somehow?ā€

And then they’re all finally like: oh

I just think they’re all kinda dumb like that šŸ’• affectionately

AU where the Hyrule and Legend meet first before the rest of the chain.

The portal dumps Hyrule right in the middle of the ocean. Even if he could swim it would be futile as there’s no land for many miles. As he starts to drown he sees a flash of shimmering scales. He loses and regains consciousness over and over again over a course of time that he can’t count. Each time he wakes sees pretty pink scales, pink hair, gills, and violet eyes. Sometimes he even hears the comforting few notes of a song.

When he finally comes to it’s tucked safely under a cluster of palm trees on the shore of an unfamiliar beach in an even more unfamiliar, but familiar, Hyrule. He has to wonder if the goddess really does love him or if he really was rescued by a mermaid.

Legend had never intended to leave the unfortunate Hylian behind. He left him in a safe spot on the shore before looking for a nearby village that could give better medical attention than he could. He never would have expected an avalanche to descend out of nowhere. It’s not even rainy season. Before he can run or activate a shield he’s struck across the head and knows no more.

He gains consciousness a few times and each he sees the shining form of a green fairy, a color of fairy he’s never seen before. Each time he wakes he hears soft chiming and feels the warmth of fairy magic in his blood. When he finally comes to he’s nestled safely in the roots of a great old tree. He wonders if the green fairy was real or if one of his rings just activated.

Legend and Hyrule both travel for a day aching and tired. Each of them are determined to find the unfortunate soul they had to momentarily leave alone. They run into each other on the road and recognize one another immediately. Do they mention their acts of kindness or blatant recognition? NO.

Maybe one day in the future they mention being saved by a mermaid/odd green fairy. Do they piece together each other’s stories? Maybe…

This Idea Would Not Leave Me Alone, Plays Into The Idea That When Bad Sunk The City Of Atlantis It Was

This idea would not leave me alone, plays into the idea that when Bad sunk the city of Atlantis it was Foolish's City and thats how the two meet.

Bad feels very bad about it which is why he's super tiny right now.

The one like is from Skeppy

Idk what gets me so much, maybe the fact that until adulthood I’ve lived in warm weather climates, but fics about huddling for warmth and hypothermia scares and fluffy ones too where they just stay indoors in front of a fire are so appealing to me

I headcanon, or not even more like just maladaptive daydream/think would be cute, for Team Soulfire is that they have a nice little cabin headquarter or warm little base that they stay in when they’re too exhausted to grind for materials or fight other people anymore. Or when the timer runs out and there’s no point left in doing missions.

I like to think that they all have matching fluffy coats and have to share a bed, not in a sexual trope way but in a sleepover way. They came from a cold spawn. They make soup together and cuddle for warmth.

Swan Song:

Swan song:

The final act someone does before they die; the final performance of an actor. According to folk lore, swans sing most beautifully and mournfully before they die.

I think Time would have the worst dad snore ever. Maybe somehow he’s able to keep it toned down when they’re sleeping outside bc he’s anxious enough about monster attacks so he manages to wake himself up every time he starts snoring. But, that also just means the first inn the chain hits, Time is sleeping HARD. And snoring like a wood chipper.

they definitely draw straws for who has to sleep in the same room with him if they can afford more than 1. They make Sky sleep with him every time bc Sky can sleep through anything.

side note: Sky has to be the kind of guy who can sleep anywhere and all of his naps are heavy ones. Dude falls asleep on the toilet. He used to scare the chain by sleeping face down on the die of the road without waking up but they’ve gotten used to it.

back to time: The chain members that have to sleep in the same room as Time are always furious and upset the next day with red eyes and no sleep. (Except for Time and Sky). The worst part… Time doesn’t believe that he snores, or won’t admit it. He’s like: ā€œMalon never says anythingā€ and it makes them deeply frustrated

later in Wild’s era he probably gets diagnosed by Flora or Purah with sleep apnea and they’re both like: ā€œit’s treatableā€ but he sees the machine he’d have to sleep with and turns them down to the RAGE of the rest of the chain
