He is simply dying of love for you. He adores you—everything about you. Every little detail overwhelms him in the most delightful way, and of course, he has made it his mission to make you his, taking all the necessary steps. You don’t know it yet, but someone is literally learning your routine inside and out—from the moment you wake up to the moment you fall asleep—and that is only the beginning. He is completely determined to make the connection immediate, to make you fall for him at first sight. He has been studying you. He has studied you so well it’s astonishing. You could ask him for the coordinates of the place where you were born, and he could probably tell you—he is that obsessed with you. His computer is filled with folders containing pictures and videos of you, meticulously categorized by location, body parts, dates, and more. He follows you everywhere. He has memorized your favorite foods and drinks and has forced himself to try them, even if they contain something he dislikes—simply imagining your sweet face when he "casually" confesses that his favorite dessert is the same as yours makes it all worth it. He finds it adorable when you get the feeling that someone is watching you—those nervous, suspicious glances excite him because it means you sense his presence, that you are starting to notice him. He has even planned your first meeting, and he is determined to make it PERFECT—because you are already HIS. You just don’t know it yet.

You were walking down your street, buying bread for breakfast, unaware that your favorite one had mysteriously sold out. You had no idea that he had gone out of his way to buy fifty loaves.

“Damn… it’s gone" You muttered in frustration.

“It’s a really delicious bread” A male voice said behind you. “No wonder it’s sold out”

You turned around politely to see him. You didn’t recognize him at all, and he was pretending just as well that he didn’t know you either. Soon, you noticed his hand holding a bag with three loaves—you figured he had taken the “last ones.”

“Looks like you got lucky” You said with a sigh.

“Do you want them?” He asked in a gentlemanly tone, almost like a savior.

“N-no, I couldn’t ask that of you” You replied, a little nervous.

“I insist” He said, taking your hand and placing the bag in it.

He had to suppress a surge of excitement when his fingers brushed against yours. He simply continued acting like a calm, kind guy, even though he was dying to kiss you right then and there.

“Don’t worry about me. I’ll just grab a white mocha at the café next door” He said casually.

“You like white mochas too?” You asked, a bit surprised but happy to meet someone who shared your tastes. “Since you’re giving me the bread… maybe I could buy you a mocha? What do you think?”

“Yes… that sounds perfect…” he said, his cheeks turning pink. You didn’t take it as a romantic reaction—just the morning cold.

You both walked together. You didn’t notice the intense gaze full of love and obsession fixed on you—you were just happy to have found your bread and, apparently, a new friend.

“I’m Y/n” You introduced yourself.

“That’s a beautiful name” He said casually… acting as if it wasn’t the name he moaned desperately while pleasuring himself.

This was truly just the beginning of a love story—the result of a perfect plan.

when armin works up the courage to confess to you, or if you figured it out and you turn him down, he doesn’t process it for a moment.

there’s a disconnect in his neurons and all that good shit.

you’ll notice his eyes empty themselves and gloss over and then all of a sudden he’s crying.

fat tears rolling down his cheeks, eyes downcast and half-lidded, he’ll ask you what he’s done wrong. why don’t you like him?

is it because he’s not muscular enough? is he too much of a nerd?

he wants to know so he can have closure

whatever it may be, armin just nods and then will tell you that he’ll need some time to heal and that your friendship won’t be affected.

you two will still work well together on missions.

when armin is heartbroken, he cries every second he’s alone. you’ll notice his eyes get all red and swollen.

he also doesn’t sleep as much because he dreams of you rejecting him and it breaks his heart more. or maybe he dreams of what could’ve been and then he wakes up and feels like his heart has been ripped from his chest.

it’s near unbearable for him- the ache in his chest- when he sees you laughing and smiling with other people.

it hurts.

so he avoids you like the plague.

he eats dinner separately, trains with different people, does chores with other people, etc.

he doesn’t talk to you until he’s sure he’s healed, but the friendship will remain the same when he’s ready to come back.

This automatically makes Pidge feel entitled to you and your time

Pidge is the first person you run to with any problem, whenever you’re upset about something

If it’s regarding one of the paladins, Pidge would definitely use them as an example of what to avoid so she stays on your good side

But just know if it’s something serious, like you wanting to leave the group or if you begin suspecting something about the groups weird behavior, Pidge won’t hesitate to reveal all your secrets and conversations with everyone

She’s also lowkey emotionally distant, so she can’t really relate to any intense emotions you go to her with

This causes a drift between the both of you since now you go to someone else whenever you’re feeling upset, like Shiro, making her really jealous

Fully believes that you should rely on her if you have any concerns

Even if she can’t… help that much…

If you do decide to go to someone else, expect her to become a little more uhh… touchy

She’s so possessive over you

She would make you feel bad for trying to go to someone else when she’s so obviously right there

I mean, Pidge was trying to be a good friend but she guesses that wasn’t enough for you

She doesn’t understand your emotions but she 100% percent expects you to understand and listen to her

She’s become so attached to you that you quite literally cannot go anywhere with Pidge right next to you

Missions, exploring planets, even just chilling in the castle, Pidge is hovering right beside you, because that’s what best friends do, right?

So when the rare occurrence happens when you both are separated Pidge is still able to track where you are with the secret tracker she placed on you

You would never suspect that the bracelet Pidge gifted you would be the reason on how she is always able to find where you are, no matter the situation or location

Kinda manipulates you into being around her by saying you’re the last familiar thing she has to home since her brother and father were taken from her and being so far from earth (it does make you feel guilty so you don’t question her odd behaviors)

If you get injured during a mission Pidge loses it

There’s no way the last person she cares is going to be taken for her

She is ruthless when protecting you, she’s probably already convinced Shiro andmaybe Hunk to help guard you during dangerous missions!

No cuz the group would do anything for Pidge, which means helping keep you trapped with her💔

When Pidge is around, do not expect to get a say in anything regarding you

She fully believes she knows better than you

So just sit back and look pretty while she does all the hard work, she can be the brains for both of you

Also I get a feeling that Pidge might like the idea of you in general

Having someone to lean on while she’s going through her stuff just settles the nagging anxiety constantly following her

Taking care of someone else instead of being the one taken care of

In all, Pidge just wants to keep you safe and take care of you

She doesn’t know how to do this though which can make her come off as controlling but she swears it’s for the best!!

And who knows, maybe her obsession may rub off on her family too…

oh that’s cool but did you ever think about how you will never mean as much to anyone as killua and gon mean to each other? and you will never be able to imagine how they felt when they separated.

I think in the modern world, Armin would only look at his love for the ocean and nature as hobbies.  When it comes to investing in his education and making money to support himself and his family, he’d go into a major he’s good at just to be safe.  And that’s persuasive arguments, crazy attention to detail and maybe a little manipulation for the greater good so yeah…lawyer it is 🙂

the alhaitham type: knows you want him but pretends he doesn't notice or care because he's above all that jazz. sulks on the inside if you stop swooning over him tho or don't show it as much. secretly wants you to send him love letters sprayed with your perfume (to which he will jerk off). Will give you the cold shoulder and speak with even less words than usual, convincing himself he's not hurt by your lack of attention. after many months will randomly realise you've probably figured he has no interest and are trying to respect that. what tf does he do now? can't just start sending you flowers, that's so not him. going to cyno for advice (for kaveh not him) was not very productive. took cyno twice as long to grasp what has happened and by the time he was about to say it all seems too trivial to him, alhaitham had lost his patience and left. next time he sees you he'll just tell you " like obviously I like you and you didn't get that so you've to work on your perception skills - welcome btw. so now that you know, I'm going back to my research. don't try to hold my hand next time you see me, i will slap it away"

reasons that's annoying: he knew that you both share mutual attraction for each other but has the emotional availability of a rock therefore took him months to do smth about it. he thinks you're his gf after that speech btw.

the Kazuha type (i swear I'll die after writing this): has absolutely no idea that you like him. wouldn't realise you like him even if you told him that you're into him like with the actual words "i. like. you." love for him is living his life in harmony, taking his time to follow the course of life the way it is without outer forces meddling with that balance. relationships seem too possessive and engaging to him so he's automatically excluded them as a topic of contemplation. love equals freedom. can't grasp that someone might love him without wanting to capture him. all your hints go over his head until beidou nudges him in the right direction. only then did he start to notice your interest, but that triggered a whirlpool in his heart and stomach and he felt as if he had to flee. best way to cope is pretend it's not there so he doesn't have to hurt your feelings directly and ruin your friendship. doesn't cross his mind it might be selfish, because that's the way of life for him. eventually you'd realise he's not into you and would drop your feelings choosing not to be resentful for something that was never yours. what could change his mind is if you ever manage to stroke his heart where he has forgotten it hurts.

reasons that's annoying: avoidant as fuck. a lot of patience and quiet selfless dedication is needed to break through all that built up fear (of abandoning his freedom). that's not helping someone face their trauma, that's making it worthwhile to see another perspective of life (but your talking buddy majors in philosophy so gl)

reasons that's attractive: the loyalty you'll receive once you're through will be unshakeable. and he's also hot & charming which is a disgusting combo (extremely rude, kazuha!)

It all started with not so discrete looks. Every Monday and Thurday evenings, you would be seated at the same table, studying. No Armin didn't memorize your schedule, he's just observant.

He definitely stays shut about the times he'd noticed you were sick, and when you stood up to go throw your used tissues, slip some medicine in your purse. Somehow, he always knew what you were sick from, don't ask, he doesn't know either.

Yet.. oddly enough, you never thought much of it. You brushed it off as happy coincidences, either way– this was your favourite library, and–

Somebody was rummaging through your purse. He turned around.

You soon learned the name of said guy, Armin Arlert. Though, not after his failed fleeing attempt, Bertholdt conveniently blocking the one way out. He contemplated making a run for one of the emergency exits, but he didn't get the chance to, 'cause you were on him.

It left Armin no choice but to face the consequences of his actions.

Luckily, those consequences were exchanging numbers, and deciding to actually talk to eachother during your study sessions, which, set off a couple red flags in his mind—of how your immediate reaction to finding someone snooping in your stuff was to give them your number—but he, by no means, turns you down.

He let you have your way, and your way, is him on your bed, hickeys branding him from jaw to collarbone, face a hot red. Litterally, it looks like a fever. Your way, was kissing him goodbye, as you texted your best friend all about him. Armin, your boyfriend.

And to that, you can only smile and reminisce of all your hard effort, dressing to his favourite colours, stalking his freinds—hell, even going as far as to note the days he'd staudy at the library! It brings a smile to your face, your hand rummaging under your bed to find your notebook.

Blowing some dust off the cover, you open it up and grab a pen off your bedside table, doodling a heart on a page.

how do you study/code everyday? Genuinely asking, like how do you maintain focus and not get distracted or stop when it gets hard? Ignore the following question if you live your major and school and all that: how do you not get sad? And if you do what do you do when that happens?

Heyy and thank you for the ask!

Honestly, I get very distracted a whole lot. Like 50% of my days are procrastination bc I don’t want to do things. And I don’t study every day, but most days just bc I’m bad at taking full days off bc of The Guilt lol. Waking up early has helped me a ton, bc even if I procrastinate the morning bc don’t want to start doing things, it’ll still be early. The annoying thing to say, but it rly does feel like u have more hours in a day that way.

For stopping when it gets hard: I have this one playlist that’s like 30mins long, and everytime I wanna give up, I put that on, and it’s like a ”okay just gotta work until this playlist stops”-thing. And sometimes I do just stop after bc I’m getting nowhere, but sometimes that ”permission” to stop doing things actually makes me want to get them done. And sometimes u luck out and figure out the thing in that 30mins. (Sure a timer would work as well but I time my time with music a lot of times idk)

And yeah I get sad, bc like who doesn’t. Idk, I feel like the key is to try move on the second u can. You had ur bad days and can’t do anything abt that now, so wallowing & feeling guilty about that is not gonna do anything. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, and a week or so won’t ruin things. Trying to not get stuck in it, the cycle of ”I’ve fucked this up ohno” and getting more depressed from that and then continuing to not being able to do anything is very real. At that point, u gotta remind urself that any little bit helps (if that’s either towards the school things or like washing piled up dishes; anything to move anything along helps to get urself out).

Also big thing that has helped me; no social media when it gets bad !! All that ”respect the grind” ”that girl” ”grind mindset” etc. makes it feel way more shitty. But also the mental health awarness side sometimes makes it too easy to be ”yeah so im sad, im not going to even try to do anything” (it’s fine obv when u just can’t, but when u notice 2 years have gone by bc ”i’m just having a bad day today” everyday, it’s no longer selfcare). So idk, what helps for me is to have the bad days just by myself in the bubble and at some point getting up and doing a thing. Which sometimes/usually snowballs into a couple things. And never underestimate the power of taking a good long shower. Everything seems more doable after a shower idk why. Also I think I say this in about every ask but WALKS !! Are so good !!!!! For everything !!
