Mafuyu was always such a good girl, always so eager to help with a smile and won't ever say "no" to someone in need. How could you not really fall for her? She was perfect! So of course she also had a lot of other admirers who felt the same way about her...

You knew you had to act quick if you want to have some chances but the thought of confessing to her was scary... what if she won't return the feeling and will hate you for that? What if whole school will know about it and everyone will turn against you? You couldn't help but think if any of these can actually happen... even tho you could logically tell it wouldn't, the words "maybe it will" were crossing your mind.

Maybe you wouldn't be so scared if one day you wouldn't eavesdrop on Mafuyu's conversation with some male student. You really still remember clearly what it went... he confessed to her and she rejected him. She wasn't mean or anything like that but just the fact that your love rejected you, without giving you another chance was unbearable! So of course you had a goal: you had to become better. But it's up to you if you actually tried or have up midway. Despite if you tried or not, you still were scared of rejection so you stayed quiet... hoping that she won't notice as you two continue to be nothing more than friends.

"She's so out of my league... there's no way someone like her would actually tolerate someone like me..."

On the other side tho, Mafuyu didn't understood a thing... Why did she felt her heart flutter whenever you're near? And why it's easier for her to smile whenever you look in her direction? Others from Nightcord said it's called love... But what is it even for? She can live without it. And besides, even if you'd feel the same, you'd love "good girl" not her true self...

So she'll just stay there, keep her "good girl" act and continue being friends with you because surely, that's enough. Like, she doesn't need to be in a relationship with you to find that... happiness, everyone talks about... right?

Mizuki... another one that you're not even surprised you fell for them... They're just so cheerful and always full of life, and no matter how bad the situation gets they always try to cheer up everyone. Not a surprise tho that they also had a lot of admirers... well, maybe there weren't A LOT of them but still more than you'd like. After all it's always better to not have any competition... You really just hoped that despite all those people better then your they would still at least give you a chance...

You don't even know why you were so scared... after all, they're always so cheerful and they don't look like the type to brutally reject someone, I'd anything they would do it in a somehow nice way. You tried many times confessing to them but something always interrupted you, be it someone walking on you, teacher chasing after Mizuki because they have test to write or anything else really! So you took it as a sign that maybe you're not meant to confess to them after all...

Maybe that's it? But of course, you'll be happy even if the two of you will stay friends. At least you won't loose someone as amazing as them, right? So you might as well try to be the best friend they could've asked for.

the previous question about photography and Saeran got me thinking all day and i dont really have time to replay the game myself so i would like to ask you - and the kind people in your comments

☆ has Saeran ever mentioned being into other forms of art? i personally think he (ge?) would love painting and sketching landscapes/plants he saw outside. Also, ive seen quite a lot of fanarts with him playing the piano or the violin. Im not sure if baking is considered art or if he personally considers his desserts as a form of it, but theres that too.

Yes! A common theme with Saeran is drawing and doodling. His diary is bonus material that you can purchase from the Cheritz Market in the Special Believer Box, and in it, he uses a mixture of drawing and writing to put down entries when he's a little boy. He also uses little doodles to represent the entire honeymoon journey in the Passport Package!

I assume it's because it's easier for him to draw than it is to write since it would have taken him a while to learn how to write properly. It became a habit for him. Kids tend to find ways to express themselves even if you don't teach them how, and for Saeran, it seemed to be his perfect outlet was drawing. It helped him show what he wanted to say but couldn't. This is something he's continued to do later in life, and it's been shown in subsequent material that he likes to draw for himself.

Saeyoung would've been the one teaching him how to read and write since he couldn't attend church, after all. A baby teaching another baby would take a lot of time and care, and Saeran's penmanship as a kid does express that difficulty to learn how to write. That's why we put so much emphasis on fine motor skills when kids are just getting into school, people. They have to be taught how to grip things, be it a pencil, or a pair of scissors!

As far as violin or piano fanart goes, there's no canon basis for it, I'm afraid. That's tied into the themes for Saeran and Mint Eye, and how so many fans love the idea of Ray or Suit Saeran playing the game ost! Personally, I subscribe to the violin theory. I like to think about how it also ties them to V's mother in a tragic sort of way when I'm writing different AUs.

Baking and Cooking count in my opinion! It started as a means to impress the player, but it turned into a passion. GE Saeran's love language is acts of service, quality time, and words of affirmation. Love and time goes into learning how to make a new dish. That's something that Ray, Suit Saeran, and GE Saeran share. There are plenty of game CGs and supplementary material that support this!

   • the school’s famous, attractive scientist. he’d often be seen slaving away within one of the spare lab rooms, doing weird experiments with his friend, sucrose. they never separated from each other, and since he seemed like the type to dislike social interactions, you never dared to approach him.

   • though, one fateful day, you two met outside of school. at a daycare. you were trying to make your way to a café a friend had suggested, but with your lack of directional skills you failed miserably.

   • he noticed you, surprisingly. you were so confused because?? THE albedo actually knew your name??

   • this caused rumors to stir about you. about how you were secretly part of a gang, how you mentioned to a classmate that you would smash all the classroom windows with a bat.

   • you were drowning in embarrassment. you hid away from absolutely everyone, including all your friends that you’ve made throughout the year, in fear that they too would get the harsh treatment of others.

   • though, while you were sneaking out of an empty classroom to head to your next period, you saw childe beating up a group of boys - a handful of girls looking in fear.

   • you were quick to drag him away and berate childe for his behaviour, tearing up as you bandaged his battered knuckles. you asked him why he did all this, because he was undoubtedly going to get expelled, but he wouldn’t fess up.

   • you later found out that he went through that crazy stunt to come to your defence. that those people you saw behind the school with him one day were the one who caused the rumors.

   • now, you attend the same university and you’re like his personal babysitter. you made a promise to teucer and his other siblings that you would work hard to make childe change his ways.

- Rin Itoshi: UNHEALTHY.

Trouble with completely healthy relationships is most likely something he got mainly from his past (Sae). Perhaps a bit of trust or jealousy issues, might involuntarily push you away or distance himself, and add in his already "grumpy" or overly serious behavior: that's because he would have to still get used to loving properly. I think that with time and enough patience (therapy), he can learn to feel more comfortable and acknowledge a romantic relationship without having the issues he started with to maintain it.

- Sae Itoshi: UN-HEALTHY.

In my opinion, Sae is a more difficult character to understand. In between healthy and unhealthy: being more mature than his brother, he does realize his mistakes faster and is not above apologizing to you first, overall knows how to treat you nicely; that doesn't mean he won't struggle with other few things. I don't see him having trust or serious jealousy issues, but I do think he could instead involuntarily act much less interested or caring, and it could result in some trouble for you two. Nothing you can't fix together, though.

- Ryusei Shidou: TOXIC.

His aggressive personality sells it. Was it like Bachira's (part one!), being solely odd in an innocent way, I would have said you just need to adapt to him. But, considering how prone to violence he is, being aware and content with his toxicity, that wouldn't work. Way too strange for a steady and healthy relationship, no need to elaborate much. Sorry </3

- Michael Kaiser: TOXIC.

Also is complex character: except, unlike Sae, he doesn't really get the benefit of the doubt. Shown in the beginning as arrogant, his superiority complex is slowly dying down for his insecurities to replace it, but not his toxicity. There are too many things that would trouble not only him, but your relationship as a result. Seriously struggles expressing proper love to the people he cares for, take Ness as an example, especially in the last few chapters regarding him; can get upset beyond reason, and handling both him along with his attitude could be a little too hard as of now. :(

-Alexis Ness: UNHEALTHY - TOXIC.

Nice guy persona, overly sweet. And yet, much like Reo (also in part one!), if you ignore Kaiser for this, he would still be most likely suffocatingly clingy or overly dependent on you. No, he's worse than Reo: the jealousy issues are seriously something that could get out of control, he'd probably fear of abandonment and it would result in him being too attached to you. This could rapidly turn into a one-sided love: an interesting thing is that, because of this, your relationship itself would turn toxic due to those things it lacks, before he himself does. I'll put him in between unhealthy and toxic, in case his kind personality is brought up. </3

- Eita Otoya: TOXIC.

The fact he cheated before and seemingly still does not understand the reason why it is wrong, meaning there's a great chance he would do it again, should alone be something you'd avoid him for. Let's say you won't, though: it would probably not last for long until he grows either tired or finds something to do that he would risk the relationship over for. If he decided to do it once, he'll do it again. He's a cheater, there's not much to elaborate here..

- Yo Hiori: VERY HEALTHY.

Honestly would be a great boyfriend. Already is a good person, with a kind personality and polite manners; despite most likely not having experience, would pick up fast and learn in not much time; very understanding and caring, so there are little things you could fight about, and even then, I don't see him allowing any arguing to get past a needed talk. Not much to say except he deserves some love for who he is as a person and reassurance every there and then. Settle in comfortably, it's going to last.

- Ranze Kurona: HEALTHY.

Much like Hiori, except Kurona would be less friendly due to how introverted and quiet he is. That does not mean he wouldn't be good to you: he really would, simply in a chiller and less 'loud' way. Could struggle more with a few things not only because he is on the younger side, but also because he seems to be a bit needier for reassurance due to some little facts that could make him self-counscious about himself, at times: not in an overwhelming way, fortunately. Overall, made for a long term relationship.

- Oliver Aiku: UNHEALTHY.(?)

I wouldn't say outright toxic, but it is canon he's a womanizer, although I'm not exactly sure how far it could go: so, let's consider the possibilities. There's a good chance he would do his best to be a good boyfriend and it wouldn't take him much effort since he can be mature and understanding, and another one that he would entertain other options whilst already in a relationship; or, would assume you're okay with sharing him in the very first place, even without having a talk about it, as he did before. Since our stats are more possible on the negative part, I'll have to say unhealthy..
