One thing I hate about being both a writer and a Danmei fan is that I will likely never be able to write a Danmei. Superhero fans can write superhero books, and mystery fans can just write a mystery. I, however, am a white Texan guy who is so detached from the culture these books were written that it's almost hysterical. How drenched in a culture do you needa be for a book to be labeled an 'Italian book' or a 'Russian book'? Sure, I can make a gay romance novel set in China, but like, that's not really a Danmei.

My friend Lola got me into Kaos, and my current running theory as of like episode 2-3 is that the twin brother that baby Ariadne killed is actually the Minotaur. I was trying to find my spot and ended up passing two frames that seemed to show the Furies going after the king guy [Midas?]. I started thinking that maybe he killed the brother, and then I noticed something strange: this show went out of it's way to include things like Hera and Zeus being siblings, but there has been no mention of the fact that Ariadne's mother gave birth to the Minotaur. What if she did, but no one knows it, and the king just put some random other baby in crib?

Being into fan and indie content as it's coming out is both awesome and absolutely horrible.

On one hand I am fully aware of the time and effort that goes into all the videos and comics that I love, and appreciate them putting in all that work. On the other hand I am super impatient, but also hate pressuring people and so I must just sit and suffer until something else draws my attention
