College is hard but finally I can draw something for an assignment, have a mouse that also happens to be a maid from the great kingdom that also happens to be your cellar.
The design was made by @glitcherrii and I translated it into a Tim Burton-ish style.
I just couldn’t resist drawing them but due to being short on time it had to stay a sketch.
Even after reading this last preview it hasn’t really quite set in that tomorrow will be the last time. It feels so surreal that it’s ending, having read Lost Light since it first came out. I was somebody who really joined the fandom and the monthly wait when MTMTE just ended, though I knew of it beforehand having seen the panic issue 47 sparked.
It’s bitter sweet, the joy of completion and yet the emptiness it’s going to leave. It feels like I have grown up so much while reading and waiting, I graduated high school and even got my driving license. The month long wait every time again has kept me going through harder times. Though it might have given me some harder times like that one brand new issue that I read right before one of my exams and one of my favorite characters got mortality wounded. Good times.
I mourn the characters we’ve lost over the course of these years but in a more hopeful light maybe we’ll see them again in all their glory in the new universe!
Catloaf extra fluffy
I think we made someone entirely new!
( a little late because i draw really slow :/ )
I'm trying to figure out Alka's face. While this attempt is far from perfect, it manages to give me a good idea of in which direction I want to go. However while I was working on this piece, somebody commented about it being drawn in an anime style. I don't necessarily view that as a bad thing in other circumstances but I have been doing my best to get rid of that type of style. I asked them where they saw those anime characteristics in my art so I could try to work on making these less anime-ish. The answer that I got was that they could't really pinpoint it but it was probably the eyes. Even though I had followed the proportions for a normal face (1 eye between the eyes 1/2 - 1 'between the edge of the face and left/ right eye). So could I get some pointers/ critique from somebody of the things I'm doing wrong or should improve in? ( I know that the jaw looks kind of weird but I didn't have a reference at that moment)
another drawing :D I made this one with the help of @cat-pun‘s/kiwi byrd’s colloring tutorial
Trying to get this blog to update more regularly. Please, do not repost my art
