Writing Prompt #3
A character is trying to call their best friend over with increasingly absurd nicknames.
We write because the night sky is too quiet for all the things we want to say. So we spill galaxies onto pages and call it storytelling.
…. So I’m kinda really new to this whole Hellenistic polytheism thing in terms of actual worship. I know I can’t do much in terms of the traditional stuff because of where I live and my current situation, but for the last year when I’ve been sad over a breakup, I peeled a pomegranate with my bare hands.
Last time I did my little ritual, I talked to Persephone (idk if she heard me or not but it felt nice and a little less lonely) and told her that she made a lovely choice for fruit.
… that was a few months ago. I feel like she’s a pretty understanding person/goddess in knowing how much I can do right now, but I kinda feel a little bad that I haven’t done it since January (or so). I know it’s not pomegranate seeds, but I want to thank her for being patient with me (and also to like… not have a mental breakdown again).
I dunno what to do right now…
Any suggestions are welcome.
Is this a problem?
To anyone who sees this, I wish you warm fuzzy blankets and your preferred choice of milk or tea. Now go sleep sleep!!

Writing Prompt #5
A screams, clutching the chair.
“Why are you screaming?!” B shouts as they run into the room.
A stares at the floor with a horrified expression.
“I dropped it.”
beginning to suspect that if I ever want to have a published novel I will have to actually write a novel, which is frankly ghoulish
To any future readers of my (still in progress) novel, I really hope that the hours upon hours of personality quizzes of characters and sketches of maps and history timelines really shines through my writing. My procrastination has to have an impact on my eventual work, right? Right?
