I can't understand why you guys hate gege so much 😭 yeah the plot is rushed, some characters are left without any development, some arcs are written bad and it's something gege acknowledges himself. but like.. he's a real person?? he can make mistakes?? he can do something and then regret doing that?? please don't forget that the WSJ has unreasonable deadlines like an author has to finish a chapter within a WEEK???????? just a WEEK for the WHOLE CHAPTER? that's fucking insane and no wonder a lot of authors get burnt out eventually and finish their stories not in the way they'd like to

all I wanna say is please remember that gege is a human and in the first place he created the characters we love so much so maybe we should be grateful for that 🙏🏻

Compassion and Pity

Soo many amazing panels lately and I really want to redraw so many of them! I think I like how the render turned out here although I might add the speech and panel frames...

But I'm soo far behind on all of my drawing ideas and need to work on something else for a bit...

It's november, the weather is getting colder, the leaves are on the ground and it's time again for my annual re-read of this fic ....

I had this great plan to take a break, a real break, and only worry about my fall semester art class for several weeks.... but

1) the neighbor is once again being a fucking bully about and hinting at legal action over the trees on the property and stressing me out so badly I needed a distraction,

2) the weather is finally looking and feeling more like fall which always triggers my hunger for non-drama kishotenketsu-style modern AUs,

3) I can't draw/post anything related to NaNo without spoiling everything but I wanna doodle dinluke??? how does this hyperfocused hyperfixated-on-one-AU-at-a-time asshole doodle dinluke without SPOILERS????

4) I wrote a 2.5 page plot treatment for a non-drama kishotenketsu-style modern AU in an all-human setting where Nevarro City sits toward the edge of the New Republic border, Chandrila and Coruscant and Naboo are either major cities or counties/territories within the New Republic, and Mandalore is a whole ass country,

5) what if I wrote TWO MORE FICS to close out the year????

Din Djarin works for Greef Karga's... *handwaves* company in Nevarro City but has a side gig doing food deliveries for Mythrol Deliveries because he adopted a kid out of a very complicated situation who named himself Grogu and kids are expensive af, and for 2 months he's been dropping off food from Tatooine Grill at the teeny tiny brownstone of a Phd student named Luke at unreasonable hours.

*whispers* This whole thing starts when Din notices the order he's picking up has two hot chocolates, and when he drops off the food Luke stops him and offers him the other hot chocolate as an apology of sorts.
