Hey, please read this, just getting this all off my chest helps a lot itself.

I am Layla, a 17 year old student from India. I currently study at Woodstock International School, which is one of the schools here in Mussoorie, India. I've been inactive recently as I was very busy with my A levels exams and my household situation. My mom is from Bangladesh while my father is Indian. Recently, due to him getting unemployed 3 months ago, our family has been going through some very tough times. I in my school am on scolarship and much of my tution fee gets waived off but recently our condition has worsened and my parents are in a lot of mental stress due to our school fees (me and my 2 other siblings) as a major part of their expenditure are payments for our education. I really dont want my education to suffer and can't see my parents stressing about my tuition fee.

My personal goal is to try and make fanfic binding as accessible to everyone as possible, so here are some resources on how to make a fanfic hardcover for under $25.

This is a barebones bind for the broke college students and such. Happy to field questions, too!

Here's a proposed budget breakdown:

Loosely organized thoughts:

Fanfic bookbinders often share typesets amongst each other. Never pay for a typeset for a fanfic.

You'll hear a lot about grain direction for your printer paper, but as a newbie on a budget without your own printer, settle for some nice 92 bright paper. If you like the hobby, splurge after but expect to pay at least 2-3x more for short grain paper.

Printing is a pain because some copy shops won't let you print intellectual property smut, and it's very expensive. You are better off bartering instead or looking for a free printer on Buy Nothing.

You know the thick paper wrapping that comes with online orders? It's a good weight for endpapers if you need to scrounge. Paper grocery bags or gift bags (birthday presents) might work, too.

Ask your local library to give you covers from books they are throwing out. Ask for outdated textbooks (those covers are built like tanks) or three-ring binders that are too busted to be binders anymore.

Obtain a used book that was mass produced (so your destruction of it does not impede anyone's access) and maybe even become a little vindictive with it.

If you can afford it, I recommend the Olfa SVR knife (~$10)

If you can afford it, upgrade your ruler to a t-square.

These three have been facing difficulties in their lives, you see what started as a warm living family sweeping through neighborhoods like a tornado of showering blades; is now a broken home full of animosity as they find new and invigorating ways to kill each other. Such as, poisoning dinner, throwing a grenade in the living room, stabbing while they're asleep.

No family is without their problems. While on the outside, they are as "normal" as they can be, on the inside, there is rising tension. Starting with the daughter, she started off early in life trying to imitate her father but as she grew, no holds the same hatred her mother does towards him. No one knows how Jane and Jeff got married, much less had a child but sources say it was hate at first sight. Jeff has taken to drinking and coming home late with blood on him while Jane chain smokes and constantly has some type of human body parts in the fridge.

She states, "Unlike my husband, I actually keep my kills clean." "Stop complaining about my habits woman! You're not my mother! But sometimes I wish you were 'cause she's six feet underground!" "Oh, like my parents that you murders cause you just had to pick my house that night!" "That was in the past! I'm moving on to my next kill and you should do the same!" "You b******d!!" The daughter states, "I wish he was dead." "That's my girl." "Who raised you?!" "I did 'cause you're never around!"
