starting off, ellie would introduce you as ‘the mrs’ or ‘my wife WHEREVER you go. i mean everyone, would hear those words whenever your in view

“oh look there’s the mrs now” or “there’s my wife”

she’d 100% play guitar and hum songs when you’ve had a long day and need sleep

couldn’t believe you actually agreed to go out with her originally, she genuinely thought you where straight until you blabbed about your ex girlfriend one night

will drag you everywhere with her. seriously if this woman needs a piss at 3 in the morning you best believe she is waking you up just so she can use the toilet while you stand lazily by the door

VERY protective over you, im not joking. if your on patrol together, she’ll always be behind you so nothing can jump at you without you realising

she tries not to let you kill anything, whether it’s infected or raiders but when you do team up to kill a large group of infected. your an undeniably good team.

ellie will (and this isn’t up for discussion) always talk through arguments. there is no going to bed angry with ellie as a girlfriend. everything is sorted within the hour.

you two are the centre of attention at Jackson parties. not only because your one of the few lesbian couples there but because after a few drinks, you both get quite handsy and dance carelessly together

the first kiss with ellie definitely happened randomly. maybe you were making food and ellie just walks in, grabs your face and kisses you.

you where the first to say ‘i love you’ because ellie was scared that admitting it aloud would be stupid. everyone she has loved before, had died.

it would be a cute moment though. just imagine sitting on the couch with ellie whilst she plays the guitar. your just admiring her with a smile as she strums chords and puts together a little tune.

you just couldn’t help but blurt out those three words. ellie’s movements stilled as she looked up at you, her eyes wide and her mouth open

she will so casually pull one of these after you say what you said

you knew she wouldn’t say it back but once she composed herself she just gives you a smile and grabs your hand, bringing your knuckles up to her lips

it would take her a while to say it back. it would probably be after either you or her get injured pretty badly.

speaking of injuries, she wouldn’t let you touch a single wound. ellie would clean and dress them while you just sit there watching her with an amused smile

sometimes, ellie would get on your nerves with how late she has a tendency to stay up to. you’ll be in bed and you’ll hear ellie screaming at the tv (either at a game or a film). knowing she got into bed with you at eleven, you checked the clock and saw it was 2am

if ellie wakes up before you (which is incredibly rare) she’ll bring you whatever food was being served in the dining hall and a coffee for you to have breakfast in bed.

gf!ellie would 100% get a tattoo that reminded her of you. something like a flower or an object that you loved

she would be supportive as hell if your having a bad day, she’d help you with your struggles. if your struggling saying words or constantly stuttering over a sentence she’d be very patient

HOWEVER if your in a good mood she would be taking the piss. lovingly mocking your stuttering and finishing words for you

that always resulted in a glare and a middle finger but ellie didn’t mind. she just laughed more.

if your on patrol, ellie would a lot of the time have to be the one that signs you in. either you struggling to spell your names or general laziness. it was usually her.

“els why does that sign say ‘new humans available’” you’d read of a sign that you and ellie rode by on your horses

“housing babe, new housing available” ellie would gently explain. you’d just turn to her with a cheesy grin and thank her before muttering something about it being cool if you could buy humans.

everybody say thank you @endureher for requesting a full fic of gamer!ellie. honestly i’m not 100% comfortable writing with ‘you’ yet as i’m more of a connoisseur for oc stories so here’s a one shot to start it up

in which ellie finally tells the world your hers

you and ellie had been dating for eleven months and it had been the best eleven months of both your lives. you shared a passion for entertainment, while you write poems and stories, ellie played games and streamed to thousands of people

her stream knew she wasn’t single, small slip ups every now and then. the door randomly opening and a black kitten prancing through the slit just for the door to close again

or whenever someone asked about her day and she may or may not have told them about her date with a very pretty lady.

ellie knew she wanted her fans to know her partner and what better way than to stream with you. the starting soon screen staring back at the two of you as you sat in front of the screens

playing sims with a special guest

that was the stream title, ellie usually had guest on her stream. whether it was her best friends dina and jesse in person or people she met online through the mic. it was rare for ellie to do a lone stream

so, when the clock on her desk turned 6pm, the girl started up the stream. her hand carefully placed on your thigh as you both welcome the viewers.

many people already knew who you were, enjoying your poetry books or romance novels (that just so happened to be proudly presented in the background of ellie’s stream at all time).

ellie introduced you, saying how exciting it was to have such an aspiring writer on her stream. around ten minutes into the livestream, you both finally started playing. mutually agreeing to make each others characters. you made ellie’s and she made yours.

however, what the stream wasn’t expecting was ellie to change the relationship of the two sims characters to ‘married’. everyone took note of the way you smiled with a roll of you eyes, your own arm bumping into your girlfriends

“oh did i forget to mention that y/n is my girlfriend?” ellie asked nonchalantly, the chat going absolutely crazy as you two just smiled.

you played for just under two hours, creating a beautiful home and living a wonderful life. it’s safe to say chat managed to make some beautiful edits of you both and everyone swooned over both yours and ellies instagram posts.

the video was ten minutes long? most of the questions about their films and shows they where in. some about the friends he made along the way but only very few person ones. one, however, there was one that the fans where utterly invested in.

bella had blushed majorly, the redness showing up on camera. it took a moment before she replied

it was the truth. of course it was, she had the biggest crush and they weren’t all that good at hiding it. the fans went absolutely wild, speculating who it was and editing them with everyone they had ever hung out with. very few being correct on who this potential special someone was. she knew though, she knew and she was gonna tell the whole world about it.

okay let’s start it with boxer!abby has so many tattoos that you trace and shit when your bored or just cuddling.

actually, you have a tendency to colour them in so she got flower outlines on her thigh that you can colour

you go to all her fights and she dedicates all her fights to you, her good luck charm

in interviews after the fights she will complement her component. saying they were a good fight and that she was sure she would loose if she hadn’t trained as hard as she did

when literally anyone points out the bruise that formed after a fight she will point to the purple love bite (that’s usually placed under her ear) and say ‘this one’s from my girl though, it’s my good luck love bite’

she teases you all the time but honestly it’s quite cute bc the slightest teasing comment back with have her on the floor blushing

definitely quite an odd way of meeting, she was just leaving the gym after training when she saw you reading outside, leaning up again the wall. she literally thought you were gorgeous, asked you who you were waiting for and you just had to crack a pick up line

“just waiting for fit blonde girls to pick me up”

and after seeing the girls red face you told her you we’re playing with her, kind of, and told her you were waiting for your roommate who had left their keys at home and you were out for the weekend.

you and abby shared numbers and within a week you were on a date.

doesn’t let anyone but you see her straight after a fight. you have to be the one to assess any wounds (usually a cut lip or busted eye).

going on lil lunch dates when she takes a break from training, abby eating all healthy in preparation for her match and you feasting on whatever the fuck.

speaking of training, she knows that you can’t take your eyes off her when she is training and will take full advantage of that

she would try and get you to stream with her all the time and sometimes you agree as long as you didn’t have to be on camera. you spoke few words on the stream but they all loved you.

making ellie food or a drink whilst she streaming and literally creeping into the room and waving like a mad man out of view of the camera trying to get her attention so she can grab it however, when you don’t get her attention, you will literally throw it onto the desk, whisper a quick hi and then go back to watching from a distance.

spoils you like a LOT. new clothes, flowers, perfumes, accessories. anything you had even mentioned in passing, you will get.

it takes a while but when you start warming up to the camera, you’d sit right beside her. still hardly talking but smiling at the camera and holding ellie’s arm. you’d also played a few games together

when fans recognise you both, you tend to get really shy, hiding behind ellie slightly and holding her arm in front of you

you tend to play music whilst cooking and ellie takes full advantage of it as it’s a time when you let loose, singing and dancing in a pretty dress and your apron, sometimes she’ll join in and other times she records it and puts it on her story with a little ‘she’s not always shy <3’

no matter when she starts streaming, your always watching. in bed, your phones propped up on the bedside table with the stream playing. in the bath, it’s either resting on the floor when you wash or in your hands. making food, your phone is propped against the wall in view of you most. out with friends, it’s on mute so you can join in with conversation but it’s on

and ellie knows when your watching because you’ll always type a sweet little chat that sends her fans crazy

if you wake up earlier than ellie to go grocery shopping (which is usual) you always creep into her streaming room and write on a post it note ‘gone shopping, don’t stream too long my love. i’ll be back soon’

she keeps all your little notes for her in a box in her desk

it’s a very rare occasion but sometimes you go into her stream room when she’s out and start your own stream, curled up on her chair playing silly quizzes on buzzfeed with her fans. you speak to them, barely but there’s content. the fans love it. it’s more chill than ellie’s usual streams.

and don’t get me started on when ellie comes back and finds you in her stream room. she’ll come up behind you, wrap her arms around your shoulders and get involved with the stream. the biggest smile sat on her face

loves and i mean loves seeing edits of her girlfriend (and those cheesy couple edits)

i feel like everyone thinks that ellie would bang out shooter games but personally i can see ellie sitting there for hours playing sims or stardew

when ellie’s streaming, she loves when you make an appearance. whether it’s coming in her gaming room and simply giving her water or dragging in a chair from the kitchen to sit and watch her game (her viewers also adores it)

i can imagine ellie doing a drunk stream with you and it’s on this stream where editors get their spicy content.
