Matthew steps forward, slowly inching his hand towards Connor's. He flinches and reels back when their fingers barely graze each other, and Connor nearly pulls away, too, before he sees the look on his partner's face. There's a mix of confusion and excitement in his eyes, as he looks from Connor's hand to his face. This time, when he reaches forward, he locks their fingers together. Connor can see just as much as he can smell how Matthew immediately relaxes.

“Fuck,” is the first thing he says, “Connor, fuck, that feels…”

Connor chuckles, gently squeezing Matthew's hand. “Good?” He supplies, finishing his sentence.
